Greece — Crete

Megalonissos, in other words Great Island - that's what Greeks call Crete, the largest of the thousands of Greek islands and fifth largest in the Mediterranean Sea. They call it the biggest not only in the literal sense. The most famous Greek poet - Homer - was enraptured by the beauty of Crete.

Pokoje czyste, codziennie sprzatane. Hotel w pobliżu centrum Malii. Kilka minut pieszo. Do plazy prowadzila droga znajdujaca sie przy plantacji aloesu. Odleglosc plaza hotel to okolo 1 km.

Solimar Ruby Royal to nieduży, kameralny hotel o wysokim standardzie. Wszystkie pomieszczenia były czyste, eleganckie i dobrze wyposażone (m.in. wygodne łóżko, kanapa oraz fotel, szafy, półki, lodówka, sprawna klimatyzacja w dwóch pomieszczeniach, suszarka, czajnik, szklanki, kubki, butelka wody, herbata i kawa rozpuszczalna). W zasadzie codziennie to samo, z drobnymi urozmaiceniami. Oprócz Greków i Greczynek pracowały tam też dwie Polki. Wśród gości natomiast byli jedynie Polacy. W dniu wylotu wymeldowaliśmy się o godz. 12:00, jednak mogliśmy zachować opaski do momentu odjazdu (ok. godz. 16), dzięki czemu nadal mieliśmy możliwość korzystania z all inclusive i cztery godziny bez pokoju nie były uciążliwe. To były wspaniałe wakacje.

Hotel położony raczej w spokojnym miejscu, do plaży jakieś 10 minut drogi. Obsługa hotelowa bardzo przyjazna i pomocna, pokoje sprzątane codziennie. Recepcjoniści zawsze uśmiechnięci. W jeden dzień mieliśmy awarię klimatyzacji, którą sympatyczny Pan konserwator naprawił w 5 minut. Jedyne zastrzeżenia do jedzenia - trochę monotonne, chociaż dwa razy w tygodniu kolacje tematyczne (wieczór azjatycki, wieczór włoski). W większości posiłki serwowane na obiad to makarony, dania mięsne, gulasze itp.. Najsmaczniejsze były śniadania. Moim zdaniem brakowało świeżo wyciskanych soków, większej ilości owoców do wyboru (z owoców arbuz, melon, pomarańcze, grejpfruty, jabłka, nektarynki). Napoje to głównie słodkie owocowe, z dystrybutora - czyli sam cukier.
