Hotel fantastyczny. Byliśmy tutaj po raz drugi, i stwierdzamy, że po remoncie jest jeszcze lepiej niż rok temu. Dostaliśmy piękny pokój z widokiem na morze (bez dodatkowych opłat - wystarczył uśmiech do pana w recepcji :)). Jedzenie bardzo dobre, kucharz wita się z gośćmi i chętnie odpowiada na pytania dotyczące potraw. W ogóle cała obsługa hotelu plus polski animator spisuje się na medal| wszyscy chętni do pomocy i do pogadania :) Piękna plaża, mnóstwo leżaków przy basenie, bar zaopatrzony na tip top - długa lista drinków do wyboru, wszystko gratis jak to w all inclusive. Hotel położony w malowniczej okolicy, blisko do autobusu którym można dojechać w praktycznie każde miejsce na wyspie, co sprawdziliśmy osobiście zwiedzając m. in. Pałac w Knossos i Cretaquarium. Serdecznie polecamy, spędziliśmy w Zephyros Beach po raz drugi niezapomniane wakacje.

Korzystając z leżaków położonych przy basenie nie musi się płacić za leżaki i parasole położone na plaży.Posiłki bardzo smaczne i zróżnicowane. Hotel Zephyros Beach niewątpliwie należy do jednych z najlepszych hoteli w okolicy i zdecydowanie zasługuje na 4*. Położony bardzo atrakcyjnie - w centrum Stalidy, w przepięknym i zadbanym ogrodzie między piaszczystą plażą i deptakiem z drugiej strony, co w znacznym stopniu wyróżnia go od pozostałych obiektów. Na terenie obiektu duży, zadbany basen ze słodką wodą ,w którym można swobodnie popływać ( gł. 1,7 metra ). Leżaków przy basenie ( bezpłatnych) jest bardzo dużo- zarówno w miejscach nasłonecznionych jak i w cieniu pod ogromnym rozłożystym drzewem – można wybierać do woli gdzie kto chce, ale zająć wybrane miejsce trzeba raczej do 7.30 rano. Ręczniki plażowe można pobrać w recepcji bez dodatkowych opłat i wymieniać na czyste co drugi dzień. Piaszczysta plaża z łagodnym zejściem do morza znajduje się bezpośrednio przy hotelu - niestety za opłatą są parasole i leżaki, co jest dużym minusem. Natomiast morze to „ bajka” – dno na ogół piaszczyste, woda cieplutka, kryształowo czysta i przejrzysta – widać pływające rybki i dno przy głębokości nawet 2 metrów :) Zdecydowanie przeważają zalety hotelu, chociaż są i minusy : Posiłki w hotelu są dość urozmaicone, nawet wybredna osoba jest w stanie sobie coś wybrać – chociaż potraw typowo greckich oferowanych jest zbyt mało. Przeważa kuchnia europejska. Plusem jest wyżywienie nawet po zakończeniu doby hotelowej.Natomiast oferta drinków alkoholowych w barze przy basenie nie do końca jest all inclusive – za lepsze drinki trzeba płacić i to znacznie więcej niż w lokalnych barach na promenadzie - bo aż 6 Euro .Dużym minusem hotelu są niestety „animacje”. To co nazwane jest animacjami to raczej zabawy dla dzieci i propozycje gier dla dorosłych typu tenis stołowy, rzutki lub quizy muzyczne, tematyczne itp. Pokoje w hotelu są małe, ale ładnie urządzone i bardzo czyste. Ogromną zaletą jest lodówka w każdym pokoju, suszarka do włosów, czajnik bezprzewodowy, filiżanki do kawy i kieliszki do wina oraz indywidualnie sterowana pilotem klimatyzacja – wszystko bez dodatkowych opłat. Pokoje wyposażone także w toaletkę z dużym lustrem, telewizor, telefon, nocne stoliki, szafkę na różne drobiazgi lub zakupy oraz w sejf ( dodatkowo płatny ) Do tego balkonik z 2 fotelami, stolikiem i suszarka na pranie. Drzwi balkonowe zabezpieczone są dodatkowymi drzwiami wyposażonymi w moskitierę. W przedpokoju wbudowana jest duża szafa ubraniowa 3 częściowa z wieszakami i 2 kocami. Łazienka wielkością całkiem przyzwoita z dużym lustrem, kabiną prysznicową, umywalką, sedesem - wszystko czyste bez grzyba i pleśni.. Pokoje są codziennie starannie sprzątane, pościel i ręczniki zmieniane co drugi dzień. W Itace zamawiając wczasy prosiliśmy o pokój na piętrze - i taki dostaliśmy. Polecam każdemu pobyt w hotelu Zephyros Beach – panuje tam wspaniała atmosfera, widoczna jest na każdym kroku dbałość o klientów i miła obsługa

Knossos and Heraklion — exploring the most important remnants of Minoan Crete: the ruins of the Palace of Knossos, which was probably a mythical maze. After exploring the palace, transfer to Heraklion - the capital of the island, free time for a walk and shopping, or optionally: visiting the Archaeological Museum. Spinalonga and Agios Nikolaos — the landscapes of East Crete, which is famous for its splendid views on the gorgeous Mirabello bay, an ancient flooded port of Olous and the city of Agios Nikolaos. Cruise to the island of Spinalonga, exploring the impressive fortress built by the Byzantines. After the tour, the boat anchors in a quiet cove by a small, wild beach. Time for swimming and lunch, which is prepared by the crew of the ship: grilled meat and Greek Salad. After returning to land, a walk through the charming and romantic Agios Nikolaos. Day trip, return to hotels before dinner. Price - approx. 45 EUR (does not include entry tickets to the fortress in Spinalonga - approx. 8 EUR).
Santorini - the island from a Greek fairytale — a boat trip to one of the most beautiful Greek islands. Early morning sail from Heraklion towards the Cyclades and a cruise to Athinios port in Santorini that lasts a few hours. Cretan evening — an amazing encounter with the island's folklore in a tavern in the scenic mountain village of Kato Karouzano. A group of dancers in folk costumes will present the most famous dances of Crete and other parts of Greece, inviting you to have fun together. A glass of Raki to warm up. Samaria Gorge — an expedition through the longest gorge in Europe - approx. 18 km, in the White Mountains National Park (Lefka Ori). Departure early in the morning towards the plateau of Omfalos at an altitude of approx. 1100 meters. Descent into the gorge. Conquering Ksiloskala - the stone steps carved into a hillside overgrown with cypress trees. Walk through the gorge, on the way the first of several churches - Agios Nikolaos. After exiting the gorge the route leads through an abandoned, old village of Agia Roumeli to the new Agia Roumeli. Boat cruise to Chora Sfakion, transfer to the hotels by coach. Day trip. Golden beaches and lagoons of Crete — Gramvousa and Balos: the route of the expedition runs along the northern coast, to the port of Kissamos, where the cruise begins around a gorgeous bay. Samaria Gorge — an expedition through the longest gorge in Europe - approx. 18 km, in the White Mountains National Park (Lefka Ori). Departure early in the morning towards the plateau of Omfalos at an altitude of approx. 1100 meters. Descent into the gorge. Conquering Ksiloskala - the stone steps carved into a hillside overgrown with cypress trees. Walk through the gorge, on the way the first of several churches - Agios Nikolaos. After exiting the gorge the route leads through an abandoned, old village of Agia Roumeli to the new Agia Roumeli. Boat cruise to Chora Sfakion, transfer to the hotels by coach. Day trip. Gramvousa — an expedition to one of the most stunning places in Crete, which could be named "A visit to paradise"... The route of the tour runs along the northern coast to Kissamos (Kastelli) Port, where the cruise begins around the gorgeous bay. After an hour arrival in Imeri Gramvousa. This uninhabited islet with intact nature is a natural reserve for many species of birds. A swim in the bay and visit to the ruins located on a 137 metre hill of the Venetian fortress from the 16th century, providing wonderful views of Balos Bay. Elafonisi — this tiny islet located in the depths of the bay of the same name is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Crete. Separated from the mainland by a very shallow sea. Heading south along the track of Cretan villages called Enneachoria we will see the Chapel of Agia Sofia known from Neolithic times hidden in the grotto, and the stalactites and stalagmites occurring there.
