Hotel niewielki,położony w spokojnej,cichej okolicy, chociaż blisko centrum. I co najważniejsze zlokalizowany nad samym morzem! Pokoje sprzątane codziennie, ręczniki zmieniane częściej niż w ofercie- gdy zaistniała taka potrzeba. Suszarka zepsuła się w pierwszym dniu pobytu; po drugim użyciu i zrobiła zwarcie w całej instalacji. Ale 1 tel do recepcji załatwił wszystko ,za pół godz zjawił się p. elektryk i naprawił instalację . Do końca pobytu nie sprawdzałam czy suszarka działa :-)

Bardzo estetyczny hotel położony przy plaży w bardzo, ale to bardzo imprezowym miasteczku. Przy tym hotelu jednak było najspokojniej jeśli chodzi o muzykę sąsiednich barów przy plaży. Jest trochę odsunięty od najgłośniejszych miejsc. Basen jest świetny. Głęboki z jednej strony i przyzwoicie głęboki z strony zakręcającej. Woda w sierpniu zarówno w basenie jak i w morzu była bardzo ciepła. Dno morza piaszczyste i wolne od jeżowców. Bardzo łagodnie nabiera głębokości w miarę oddalania się od brzegu. Pokój mieliśmy na parterze. Był bardzo przestronny. Duża łazienka. Wykończenie wysokiej jakości. Klimatyzacja czysta, bezwonna. Jedynie restauracja trochę odbiega poziomem. Bardziej przypomina stołówkę niż restaurację.. Jedzenie dobre, ale jedliśmy lepsze na Krecie. W barze przy basenie piliśmy zielonego drinka blue lagune |). Wypożyczalnia skuterów i quadów tuż przy wyjściu z hotelu.

Hotel zasługuje najwyżej na trzy gwiazdki zważywszy na to jakie pokoje oferuje dla Polaków. Miałam pokój nr 101 z widokiem na parking z którego unosił się kurz. Wieczorami było bardzo głośno, młodzież powracała późnymi godzinami z dyskotek. Wysoko ocenić mogę jedynie czystość w hotelu i wyżywienie. Obsługa dla Polaków obojętna, natomiast bardzo uprzejma dla Niemców. W restauracji hotelowej kelnerzy dopisują rachunki za napoje, z których się nie korzystało. Przed poranną wycieczką zaserwowano nam śniadanie składające się z paru sucharków i biszkoptów. Natomiast w dniu wyjazdu z hotelu poinformowano nas, że śniadanie nam nie przysługuje. Od pani rezydentki otrzymałam pisemną informację w dniu przyjazdu na wyspę, że w formule HB świadczenia rozpoczynają się kolacją w dniu przyjazdu, kończą śniadaniem w dniu wyjazdu. Niestety było inaczej. Gdy zadzwoniłam do pani Kasi K. rezydentki i poinformowałam ją o tym, że nie otrzymaliśmy śniadania powiedziała, że to niedopatrzenie obsługi hotelowej i mam napisać zażalenie, stwierdziła również, że jest bardzo wcześnie (dzwoniłam przed godziną 5:00, gdyż około 5:10 mieliśmy wyjazd z hotelu na lotnisko, oczywiście przeprosiłam za to że tak wcześnie dzwonię), a przed nią cały dzień pracy. Moim zdaniem rezydent jest po to aby pomagać w podobnych sytuacjach i reagować odpowiednio. To ,że nie otrzymaliśmy przysługującego nam śniadania (sucharki i biszkopty) to nie tylko wina obsługi hotelowej ale również pani rezydentki, do której obowiązków należy dopilnowanie porządku. Nie będę pisać zażaleń bo to strata czasu. Zapewne zaproponowano by mi w przyszłym roku tańszą wycieczkę, a ja już nie mam zamiaru wyjeżdżać na wakacje z Itaką!

ogólna ocena b. dobra. czepić się można jedyni 3 rzeczy... pierwsze b.drogie wino do kolacji, 18 euro za flaszkę kosztującą 3 do 5 euro. Internet hotelowy miał blokowane mnóstwo stron polskich, jak onet GG natemat niezależna i parę innych... używałem androida. Ostatnia rzecz którą można by wymienić jako niedogodność to blokowanie leżaków na basenie przez gości na cały dzień swoimi ręcznikami. Obsługa informowała o prawie do usuwania ręczników w takich przypadkach ale tego prawa nie egzekwowała, skutkiem czego korzystanie z basenu było niekiedy mocno utrudnione. Poza tymi brakami oceniam Hotel b. dobrze dobre jedzenie, b. dobra obsługa, i pomimo głośnej okolicy było dość spokojnie...

Hotel Mediterranean Beach z pewnością na 5 gwiazdek nie zasługuje. W mojej opinii jest to hotel 3-gwiazdkowy. W sumie hotel nie jest najgorszy. Bardzo mi się podobało to, że blisko jest plaża... drzwi były dosłownie \'na wyciągnięcie ręki\'. Pokoje były w porządku, ale jak wspomniałam, nie jest to standard 5- gwiazdkowego hotelu. Niestety łazienka była nieco zaniedbana, sprzątane jest tylko to co widać a pod łóżko to chyba nikt nie zagląda. Ogólnie brudno. Klimatyzacja niestety nie dawała rady - głośna i dusząca. Nie udało nam się uzyskać odpowiedniej temperatury :( Uprzejmość pracowników pozostawia sporo do życzenia. Panie recepcjonistki często są zdenerwowane, co wpływa negatywnie na atmosferę panującą w hotelu. Pracownicy restauracji i baru bardzo niemili i zawsze w złych humorach. W hotelu bez problemu można porozumiewać się po angielsku - o ile ktoś będzie miał ochotę porozmawiać. Na temat śniadań w tym hotelu nie można zbyt wiele powiedzieć. Tradycyjnie. Kolacja natomiast nie należała do najlepszych. Wybór był bardzo ograniczony. Poza tym każdego wieczoru było to samo, a do tego każde danie było co najwyżej letnie. Kucharz jest Egipcjaninem i niewiele wie na temat kuchni greckiej. Proponuję jadać poza hotelem. Ceny w hotelowej restauracji i baru są bardzo wysokie. Za małą buteleczkę coli (0,2l) zapłaciłam 3 Euro :) Do hotelu przyjeżdżają głównie goście z Rosji i Rumunii. Ogólnie nie polecam.

Nie bez powodu hotel ma 5 gwiazdek, jak najbardziej sobie na to zasłużył. Poza tym, obsługa hotelowa jest do tego stopnia sympatyczna i serdeczna, że człowiek czuje, jakby wszyscy tworzyli jedną wielką społeczność - niczym rodzina. Jednym słowem chce się tam wracać.

City of Zakynthos by night — departure from the hotel in the late afternoon to the island's capital - Zakynthos. Drive along the port. The programme includes a walk through the old town, free time for shopping. Return to the hotel in the evening. Price - approx. 20 EUR.
Around the island — a fascinating excursion, which lets you explore the most beautiful places of the island. The programme begins from a visit to the Aristeon olive oil factory in Lithakia. Another point is a visit to a small family winery Gramzas, which includes a presentation of the methods of wine production in the past and today, as well as wine tasting. Then drive through the picturesque mountain villages: Kiliomeno, Agios Leon and Maries, time for photos. On the route is the oldest olive tree in Zakynthos and Anafonitria - the place where today the Greeks themselves pump oil, produce honey and collect herbs - an opportunity to taste and purchase. Another attraction is the panoramic view of the Wreck Gulf with the famous Navagio beach, which can be seen from the platform at the top of the cliff. Sports competitions, which took place here for nearly 12 centuries, were not only rivalry, but also an expression of worship for the highest of the gods, and significantly influenced the development of art and culture. Visiting the Archaeological Museum with works of Phidias and Praxiteles, a visit to the Olympic Stadium. The programme includes the archaeological site with remnants of, among others, the temple of Zeus, which was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world - the statue of Zeus, the work of Phidias and the altar of Hera, where today the Olympic torch is lit.
