Niestety po przyjechaniu do hotelu, okazało się że mimo wykupienia dodatkowo wyżywienia All Inclusive, hotel nie świadczy takiego wyżywienia co naraziło nas na dodatkowe, nieprzewidziane koszty. Hotel w opisie na stronie Itaki był 4*, ale bardzo dużo mu brakowało do tego standardu, maksymalnie 2* i to na wyrost.

Oferta zakupiona była niezgodna z tym co zastaliśmy na miejscu. Opcja wyzywienia All Inclusive okazała sie 3 posiłkami, bez napojów miedzy posiłkami. I nie ówie o napojach alkoholowych, nie można było dostać nawet herbaty czy wody miniralnej. Hotel ma już swoje lata , a pokoje pozostawiają duzo do zyczenia.

Pokoje, którymi dysponuje Itaka są bardzo małe, a łazienki już mocno zużyte. Trzeba to podać, bo inaczej przyjeżdżający przeżywają duże rozczarowanie. W hotelu kilka osób posługuje się językiem rosyjskim, ale polscy turyści są traktowani jak gorsza grupa. Proszę o zadbanie, by w TV był minimum jeden kanał polski, by personal nauczył się przynajmniej 'Dzień dobry', 'proszę'(pracują m.in. Bułgarka) to nie powinien być problem. Proszę na tablicy wywiesić małą informację o transporcie publicznym i kościele (Msze święte) w j. polskim. Sama znam języki obce i pomagałam w tłumaczeniu turystom z Polski. Obsługa bardzo miła i stara się pomóc, ale hotel jest duży i często trzeba czekać w kolejce, by uzyskać odpowiedź lub załatwić sprawę. Codziennie sprzątane pokoje i wymieniane ręczniki. Bardzo oddane panie pokojowe, były pomocne w każdej sytuacji. Bardzo brakuje czajnika w pokoju. Wszystkie hotele 4*, które ostatnio odwiedziłam dysponowały tym sprzętem. Posiłki, zwłaszcza śniadania bardzo monotonne, warto je urozmaicić. Kolacje trochę lepsze, ale jakość mięsa pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Dobry wybór warzyw i owoców, ale już słabe (monotonne) desery. Animacje tylko dla emerytów hiszpańskich (szachy, gry planszowe, karty). Potrzebne animacje dla osób młodszych i w różnych językach.

Hotel był położony w centrum Lloret de Mar. Cieszyłam się, że wszystkie atrakcje kurortu były w pobliżu hotelu. Wszędzie mogłam dojść na piechotę. Niedaleko od hotelu był nawet dworzec autobusowy, dzięki czemu mogłam pojechać dwa razy do Barcelony. Byłam w hotelu poza sezonem, mimo tego był on pełny. W tygodniu nocowały tu grupy sportowców, a na weekend zjeżdżali się Hiszpanie. Ponieważ byłam tu w lutym, mogłam korzystać tylko z basenu krytego. Szkoda, że był on taki malutki i nie był połączony z częścią hotelową. Jedzenie było bardzo urozmaicone, zwłaszcza w weekendy, kiedy przyjeżdżali miejscowi. Był tu największy wybór dań ze wszystkich moich dotychczasowych hoteli w Hiszpanii. Niestety, hiszpański był również poziom obsługi i pracy sprzątaczek.

Otoczenie hotelu z ładną zielenią, dwoma basenami na wolnym powietrzu, kortem do tenisa, oddzielnymi pawilonami, w których znajduje się m.in. dodatkowa restauracja. Można było również kąpać się w basenie krytym, który znajdował się w ogrodzie tego hotelu. Jedzenie z kuchnią hiszpańską - dużo ryb i owoców morza.
