Beaches: Generally entry to beaches is free, you only pay for renting sunbeds and umbrellas, the fee depends on the beach; the most expensive is Cleopatra's Beach (approx. 5 EUR); the eastern beach in Alanya and in Side is cheaper (approx. 3 EUR).
Noteworthy: in Turkey the rule is that you cannot bring any drinks or fruit bought outside the hotel into room; in a tropical climate food spoils quite quickly, and insect may appear.

Ancient Side is mainly impressive richness that comes from piracy and slave trade, a testament of which are the magnificent buildings. We can admire their remains until today. Located here is one of the largest theatres in Anatol for 15 thousand viewers, a huge agora with countless columns, a small museum of antiquity that is abundant with masterpieces, a Byzantine basilica built on Roman baths.
Undoubtedly, the town's greatest attraction is the temple of Athena and Apollo that dates back to the 2nd century A.D., situated by the seacoast, which is particularly magical after nightfall. Side is a cosy spot where you can discover your favourite cafe, tavern, take walks along the winding narrow streets, and in the evening head over to a disco and dance till the morning light. Besides this obvious beauty, there is a wide sandy beach and excellent hotels, where you can sunbathe by the pools for hours on end while having delicious drinks and savour the lack of turmoil, as well as an escape from everyday life.
