Flavors of Madeira - the route of the tour leads west from Funchal through the residential and hotel district. Drive through the picturesque fishing village of Câmara de Lobos, which during his stay on the island was painted on one of his paintings by Sir Winston Churchill. Stop, short walk around the area and tasting of the traditional poncha beverage, prepared with alcohol, honey and lemon juice in one of the local bars. Further, the route leads into the more mountainous areas of the island, through the vineyards of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, one of the most important wine regions in Madeira. In the steep valleys of Madeira vines are grown on terraces. Drive to Cabo Girão through pine and eucalyptus forests, easily recognizable by their specific scent. Cabo Girăo is one of the highest cliffs in Europe. Gardens and Levadas - Madeira is called a floating garden in the Atlantic. The program of the trip includes one of the most beautiful and famous gardens on the island - Quinta do Palheiro, located east of Funchal, on the picturesque hills leading to Camacha. The first stop on the route is the Lombo da Quinta vantage point with panoramic views of the capital. Then transport to the gardens of Quinta do Palheiro, now belonging to the Blanda family, founded in the 18th century by their then owner, Conde de Carvalhala.
