Sozopol - one of the oldest towns cities by the Black Sea, situated 35 km south of Burgas. Its rich history dates back to 610 BC, when it was founded as a Greek polis - city-state Sozopol is regarded as the cultural capital of the coast. In the summer there are many concerts, exhibitions, as well as the Apollonia Film Festival, which name comes from the ancient name of the city. Sozopol is the favourite place of artists and photographers, who capture the picturesque alleys, winding streets and old wooden houses from the 18th and 19th century. The old town captivates by its romantic atmosphere. New districts are mainly hotels. An attraction for tourists are of course the beautiful, sandy beaches. Sozopol has 2 beaches: the main one - between the old and new part of the city, as well as Harmani - in the new part. In the vicinity, the beaches Golden Fish and Kavatsi are recommended.

Primorsko - a tourist destination approx. 55 km south of Burgas, which attracts many tourists each year. It is situated on a small peninsula, between the bays Stamopolo and Diavolski. The sandy beaches that are approx. 10 km long are considered to be some of the loveliest on the entire coast. Most of the beaches are prepared, there are umbrellas and sunbeds for hire, bars and watersport equipment rentals. In Primorsko there are 2 beaches: north and south. Primorsko offers many attractions, also for families with children. There is Aqua Planet aquapark with lots of entertainment not only for the kids, it is also worth visiting the nearby Ropotamo reserve, the Perla dunes and Beglik Tash - considered to be a place of worship from the times of the reign of the Thracians.

Pilot: tourists are looked after by a Polish resident, whose tasks include help upon arrival, departure and stay, as well as registration for local trips.

Arrival and transfer to the hotel (applies to the SMART offer)
At the airport in the destination, an ITAKA representative is waiting for you, who will indicate the booked transfer (bus, bus or car), taking you to the hotel where you will spend your holiday. The waiting time for the transfer can be up to approx. 1 hour. The shuttle takes tourists to a maximum of 5 hotels. After reaching the destination, the driver informs about the name of the hotel and helps with unloading the luggage. Information about the hotel-airport return transfer is available in the ITAKA application, it will also be sent via SMS or e-mail.

Visas: not required. Polish citizens may cross the Bulgarian border using their Personal ID. Be sure to remember about a document for the child.

Flight duration: Poland-Burgas: approx. 2 h; Poland-Varna: approx. 2 h. Local time: GMT+2.

Currency: Bulgarian lev (BGN). 1 EUR = approx. 2.1 Lev. Visitor's tax: a visitor's tax is obligatory in Bulgarian, which has been included in the price of the event.

Language: Bulgarian written in Cyrillic. Communication in Russian and English also possible.

Local trips: organised by local tourist agencies on terms specified by them. There is a possibility, that if there are too few participants, a trip may be cancelled.

Sozopol - Ropotamo — day trip combined with a ship cruise along the Ropotamo that runs through the resort of the same name. You can admire unique natural objects: unusual rock formations, swamps and marshes, protected plant life and water birds. In the afternoon tour Sozopol - the oldest Bulgarian city on the coast, situated on a slender rocky promontory, a walk around the Old Town. Free time for shopping in Burgas. Price - approx. 34 EUR, children up to 12 y.o. - approx. 17 EUR (includes lunch).

Varna - Dolphinarium - Alajda Monastery — day trip to visit the Alajda monastery which is forged in a rock, dating back to the 12th century, the most famous monastery on the Bulgarian Riviera. Travel to Varna - the beautiful capital of the Bulgarian coast and city with a rich history, a show at the dolphinarium in Varna. Price - approx. 50 EUR, children up to 12 y.o. - approx. 25 EUR (includes lunch).

Bulgarian evening — dinner and folklore show in an outdoor restaurant. Music, presentation of folk costumes and dances, and above all, the "Nestinarka dance" on burning coal. Excellent meals from the Bulgarian cuisine on the menu, Rakia and Bulgarian wine unlimited. Price - approx. 25 EUR, children up to 12 years old - approx. 17 EUR.

Istanbul (1 day) — one-day stay in the Turkish metropolis. Night travel by an air-conditioned coach to Istanbul. Panoramic tour of the city: Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Hippodrome, Obelisk, pass through the bridge over the Bosphorus Strait to the Asian part of the city. Lunch, free time. Return to Bulgaria at night.
