Montenegro - the black pearl of the Balkan Peninsula.

Montenegro's flagship is the largest bay of the Adriatic, surrounded by tall mountains - Boka Kotorska with over 100 km of coastline. The most photographed place on the coast is Sveti Stefan - a tiny peninsula with characteristic stone houses connected to the mainland by a narrow spit - ideal for a photo session. The growing fashion for Montenegro makes "Come here before the place becomes crowded" is more befitting now of the Black Pearl of the Balkan Peninsula rather than Croatia. The longest beach in the Balkans
The Montenegrin coast is home to many picturesque places perfect for a family holiday, like Ulcinj - an oriental city with the longest beach in the Balkans - the 13 km Veliká Plaža, not far from the center. Bar is a developing seaside resort and the largest sea port in the country. The excellent climate and calm atmosphere make it an ideal proposition of holidays for people looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The most popular resort on the coast is Budva, with a medieval old town and atmospheric pubs.

Sun, mountains, canyons
Unspoiled and wild nature, the captivating beauty of the canyons, crystalline rivers and majestic mountain landscapes. There are 4 national parks in Montenegro: Biogradska Gora with primeval forest and trees that are over 500 years old, Durmitor - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its famous mountain massif and glacial lakes, Lake Skadar - covering the entire Montenegro side of the lake and Lovćen with the Holy Mountain of Montenegrins - Jezerski vrh.

Rafting with a rush of adrenaline
For adrenalin freaks and lovers of the beauty of nature, rafting on the Tara river is a must during Montenegrin holidays. Tara Canyon, a UNESCO Heritage Site, is the deepest and longest canyon in Europe. The Tara River is over 140 km in length, characterized by fast current, full of faults and cascades, which makes it an ideal place for rafting.

Lake Skadar - gorica, monuments and pelicans
The largest lake of the Balkans is a natural border between Montenegro and Albania. You can find not only beautiful landscapes and natural attractions here. It is also a region with many magnificent medieval monuments. On the lake there are more than 50 small islands called gorica with preserved ruins of several hundred-year-old buildings - fortresses and monasteries. The lake is also the destination of numerous fishing expeditions - there live more than 40 species of fish. The lake is also one of the last places in Europe where pelicans live.

Balkan kitchen
Aromatic, simple and filling. It can be divided into three regions: on the coast it is dominated by fish and seafood - excellent mussels in white wine, the area of Lake Skadar offers fishes served in many ways, in the mountains the kitchen is heavier, rich in lamb, cheese and dried ham served with homemade rakija. The most popular cheese in Montenegro is kajmak - fat, buttery cheese, which can be bought in any store.

In this region you will find not only beautiful landscapes and nature attractions - it's also one of the richest archaeological regions of the country with many great Medieval monuments. Countless small islets sprouting from lake and the peninsulas with centuries-old structures can be found here. The programme includes a cruise and tasting of local food. Dubrovnik - travel to one of the most famous cities in the Mediterranean, a place with a unique history, called the Pearl of the Adriatic. Visiting the beautiful stone old town, listed on the UNESCO list, surrounded by the longest fortification system in Europe. A walk down Placa, the lively arteries of the old town, from the Great Onofrio Fountain to Luža Square with its representative buildings. Free time. Day trip. A cruise on the Bay of Kotor — during the cruise you can admire the southernmost "fjord in Europe", the Verige Strait, the charming old villages of Lepetane, Stoliv, Prcanj, Muo and Perast. Another attraction is the famous Our Lady of the Rocks island with an 18th century church and Baroque paintings made by Tripo Kokolja. Free time for swimming. The Tara River Canyon – the heart of Montenegro is the unspoiled and wild nature in the northern part of the country. The enchanting beauty of the deep canyon, crystal clear rivers and majestic mountainous landscapes. The route leads to the largest and deepest canyon in Europe and one of the deepest in the world - Tara. The shore of the river and steep slopes of the canyon are covered with lush vegetation, and its highest part with fir trees and spruce. Stop at a vantage point - on a bridge suspended 170 m above the river joining the 2 banks of the canyon. Transfer to the capital of the mountains - Žabljaka - and then to Black Lake located in the National Park of the Durmitoru Mountains between their highest peaks. Day trip.
