The crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea, bays pushing their way inland, the openness and hospitality Majorcans, combined with the excellent standard of hotels are the biggest advantages of this beautiful island. Majorca is the largest island in the archipelago of the Spanish Balearic Islands. There is a mild and warm Mediterranean climate here, due to which the temperature in the summer usually exceeds 30 degrees Celsius. Majorca captivates with its colourful landscape composed of lush-growing citrus trees, oranges and lemons, and the evergreen olive groves bring to mind the ancient times when the first Phoenicians and Greeks came to the island. The western coast is majestically dominated by the mountain range Sierra de Tramontana, where among the slopes the medieval village of Valldemossa is located. It is here that at the turn of 1838/1839 Frederic Chopin was here together with George Sand. The famous couple also lived briefly in the capital of the island 17 km away - Palma de Mallorca. It is now a multicultural city and like a magnet attracts those desiring fun and all kinds of entertainment. The multitude of restaurants and discos will satisfy hotheads of the nightlife. On the northern tip of the island, the furthest protruding Formentor peninsula reveals the wild mountains that descend directly into the sea, almost vertical cliffs and Cape Cap de Fermentor with a lighthouse, the power of nature dominates. The eastern part of the island is of a different nature. Already from the north along the coast are located cosy destinations that captivate with their Spanish climate and are gladly visited by tourist from all over the world. Among them Can Picafort is distinguished with its long beach of soft, light sand. It is a peaceful place suitable for a family holiday. For amateurs of spending time actively there is the picturesque destination of Cala Ratjada. This is a green part of the island distinguished by its beautiful beaches with golden sand, enclosed in small coves. The sandy Son Moll beach is here with crystal clear water and Cala Agulla beach located on the premises of a nature park. Both beaches have enjoyed great success with tourists, as they are distinguished by the Blue Flag certificate. There are 41 beaches on the island with a confirmed guarantee of quality. Well developed tourist infrastructure ensures the highest standard of service. For enthusiasts of watersports, particularly diving, there are excellent sites provided by the resort Cala d'Or on the south-eastern shore of the island. Numerous small bays surrounded by high cliffs and blue seawater will ensure a great diving adventure. Cala Egos beach is clear water and hot, fine sand.

However, Majorca is not only hot beaches. For the active, in addition to the possibility of practicing several watersports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing or motorsports, the golf courses await. The excellent conditions prevailing in Majorca for this sport have caused intense development of this discipline. There are 23 golf courses on the island, including 6 on the east coast, of which 4 are 18-hole courses. The Balearic Islands is also terrific cuisine, you can taste Catalonian influences, but the islands also have their own regional dishes. Nowhere else will you find ensaimada - sweet wrapped buns with filling. The basic meal of Majorcans is Sopes Mallorquines - thick soups made of seasonal vegetables and meat, mainly lamb. Frit Mallorquí is another regional dish that you can cook in many ways; its main ingredients are potatoes, vegetables and meat or fish. These are dishes cooked in a traditional clay pots - greixoneras. The specialty of Majorca is the orange liqueur produced for generations in Sóller Valley, where beautiful orange groves have been filling the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains with their fragrance for centuries.

Tour of the island — the route of the tour leads through farm villages and cities of the fertile Es Pla plains in the direction of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. Further on mountainous hairpin roads to the Marian Sanctuary in Lluc - visiting the church of the Black Madonna. Then a drive with an impressive winding road with turns achieving even 180 degrees to Sa Calobra port on the west coast. The bay is also an estuary of the longest gorge on the island - Torrent de Pareis. During free time, walk through the rock tunnel to the picturesquely situated small beach called the Gates of Paradise. Boat cruise along the cliffs on the north coast of Majorca to the port Puerto de Soller. Ride on an historic, wooden tram to the charming town of Soller. Next, on the historic train through the famous Valley of the Oranges, mountain tunnels and groves of citrus trees to Palma, and on the way back to the hotel. The order of the tour may be changed. Palma and Valdemossa — drive to the south, towards the beautiful and cosmopolitan capital of Majorca located by the extensive Bahía de Palma Bay. A visit in Palma includes a stroll around the old city: La Seu Cathedral, Parc del Mar, the royal gardens of the Almudaina Palace, narrow streets and patios of merchant houses, the Town Hall, the vantage point at Castillo de Bellver Castle. Free time for shopping around Plaza Mayor, the main market of the city. Then passage through the mountains to a medieval village - Valldemossa, the place where in the winter of 1838 the Polish composer, Frederic Chopin, stayed together with the French writer George Sand. The Carthusian monastery, where the famous couple found refuge, is the most Polish accent in Majorca. For monastic aims, memorabilia has been exhibited documenting the presence of the Polish virtuoso on the island, among others. the piano on which Chopin composed the famous rain prelude. In free time a stroll through the narrow, cobbled streets of this picturesque town, and also the opportunity to try local liqueurs. Day trip. Valldemossa — a trip to the most charming, mountainous part of the island. Drive along a road among olive fields to a height of approx. 425 m a.s.l., where Valldemosa is located. The Dragon Caves — drive through the picturesque tourist towns on the east coast of Majorca. Admiring many chambers that extend below the ground in seaside limestone cliffs over a length of several hundred meters. The bizarre shapes of the thousands of stalactites and stalagmites resemble marble cascade, organs, lace drapes and chandeliers with gems.
