This is one of the most popular and most luxurious resorts in Türkiye, famous for its nightlife and one of the largest marinas on the Aegean Sea and the port, from where ferries leave daily to the Greek Islands: Kos or Rhodes. Bodrum is not like any other holiday resort in Türkiye – thanks to its landscape and the extraordinary nature of this place, nowhere more so than here do Turkish and Greek influences penetrate each other.

Only in this part of Türkiye can you see hills with white houses, olive groves, older men traveling on donkeys, mountain villages, similar to Greek ones. Even the minarets towering over the mosques seem more friendly. Bodrum is a combination of Greek freedom with Turkish hospitality, which has also affected the regional cuisine. This city, with a population of 32 thousand, also has a colourful history, which you can trace with every step you take. In the antiquity, Bodrum was called Halicarnassus and this is where the Mausoleum was located, one of the seven wonders of the world. Here Herodotus was born - the "father of history", who wrote the first history of the world. In the city centre there is the enormous St Peter's Castle, a stronghold built by the Knights (Crusaders) in the 15th century. Bodrum is also a city of entertainment and fun. In the centre there are plenty of bars, pubs and discos, where you can dance and have fun until dawn. Everyone will find something for themselves. There are jazz clubs with artists performing live, there are pubs playing only music from the 1980s, there are modern discos with laser shows, e.g. the famous Halikarnas, there are clubs where only Turkish music is played live, there is also a disco on a catamaran, which every night out sets out on a cruise around the bay and while dancing under the open sky, you can admire the beautifully illuminated city. Transfer from the port to a catamaran takes place on motorboats, which is an added attraction. Bodrum is for everyone. Good quality hotels are situated in quiet places, in well-maintained gardens will surely foster family relaxation. For those who like to explore, there are many sights to be discovered, and in addition, wonderful trips, like Ephesus, Pamukkale and a cruise to Kos. Many fantastic places in the city centre await those who like to party.

- at least one blank page.
A tourist visa can be obtained:

1) through the ITAKA Travel Agency.
ITAKA offers mediation in obtaining the visa to Türkiye.
The fee for the visa and mediation is 99 PLN/person and is lower than the fee that one has to pay if buying the visa at the airport in Türkiye.
The visa can be bought in the Customer Zone no later than 4 days before the departure.
Detailed instructions
The visa will be sent to the email address provided and will also be available in the Customer Zone no earlier than 14 days before the departure date and no later than 4 days before the departure date. 2) online via the E-visa platform.
A tourist visa can also be obtained via the E-visa system: https://www.evisa.gov.tr/pl/
The fee for the visa is 20 USD/person. The visa should be printed and taken with you to the airport.

3) after arrival, at the airport.
It is also possible to buy the visa upon arrival in Türkiye at border crossing sales points (cost respectively: 30 USD/25 EUR/20 GBP per person, payable in cash).
It is recommended to purchase visas via the electronic system. When crossing the Turkish border, the person entering may be asked to present valid medical insurance (for Itaka Travel Agency Customers, this is the travel document which contains the insurance certificate no.) or proof of means of subsistence.

Local time: GMT+2. Language:

Turkish; communication in English is also possible, more and more frequently in Polish.:

Currency: Turkish lira (TRY); 1 EUR = approx. 18 TRY.

Flight duration: Poland–Bodrum-Milas: approx. 2h 45 min.

Transport: all destinations are terrifically connected with the centre of Bodrum. Dolmus, local mini-buses travel to the north. Then you can travel around in taxis. Return during the night from Bodrum to Bitez is approx. 10 EUR, to Torba – approx. 12 EUR, to Turgutreis and Yalikavak – approx. 20 EUR. Price of fare should be established before the ride.

Prices: Bodrum is the most popular entertainment centre in the region, it isn't one of the inexpensive places. The price of beer in a pub is approx. 2.5 EUR, an alcoholic drink - 8 EUR. Often in pubs where live music is played, entry is free, but the first drink, regardless of what you order, will cost approx. 8 EUR. So we don't recommend ordering mineral water. Aside from two discos in the centre, entry to others is free. Those two are Halikarnas, where the price depends on the day of the week and season, and Katamaran, where you pay approx. 15 EUR to enter.

All Inclusive: in Türkiye the All Inclusive offer covers only meals and local drinks in limited hours, usually from 10.00 to 23.00. Any extra benefits like sports, safety deposit boxes, massages, saunas, and even the mini-bar are additionally payable. It is worth knowing that aside from imported drinks, freshly squeezed juices and Turkish coffee are also additionally payable.

Beaches: the terrains where Bodrum lies are of volcanic origin, therefore, the sand is not as light here as e.g. in Antalya. Besides, due to the mountainous terrain, the beaches are limited, they are located in bays and are generally narrow, sand and shingle. Thanks to this, the water here is very clean, but there aren't any wide, sandy beaches. Entry to the beach is free, you only pay for sunbeds and umbrellas (approx. 1.5 EUR/person).

Local trips: organised by local tourist agencies on terms specified by them. There is a possibility that, if there is not enough participants, a trip may be canceled.
