Holidays (181) All Inclusive (147) Last Minute (176)Oludeniz is definitely the prettiest beach in Turkey. 13 km away from Fethiye, the town is beautifully situated in a picturesque bay, surrounded on three sides by tall mountains, the highest of which is Babadag (1950 m above sea level). The beautiful, wide beach ends with the famous lagoon, the beauty of which attracts thousands of tourists annually from around the world.
The whole area is bordered by a nature park, therefore, there are no building sites here so characteristic for other parts of Turkey, and all of the hotels are small, one-floor, beautifully integrated into the surroundings. Very limited traffic (there is no transit route here) makes the area very safe and is recommended also to families. But Oludeniz is not just peacefulness, quiet and beautiful landscapes. It's also a place full of charming shops and an exciting nightlife, because there are a lot of bars, restaurants and nightclubs here – all centered around the beach. Oludeniz is also a world famous paragliding centre.
The wonderful natural climate, gorgeous views and tall mountains, have cause that the international festival "Air Games" takes place in Oludeniz annually. Oludeniz is a beautiful, holiday place for true leisure, where time flows lazily, and the days are spent by rolling over from one side to the other on a sunbed by the pool and many hours of contemplation in peace and quiet. For the persistent, there is a nightlife in Hisaronu or Ovacik and the oppotunity to party in the company of merry tourists, whose native language is English. It is a place detached from the mundane everydayness, which is a haven for those seeking peace and beautiful nature surroundings. Not far from Oludeniz is Fethiye, a well-known resort with a long history. The traces of its former glory are the majestic Lycian tombs from the 5th century B.C., carved in stone, which look particularly wonderful at sunset. The former fishing town has developed into an animated holiday destination, ideal for a family holiday, also known for the very good conditions for watersports. You can also visit the remains of the Roman amphitheatre and go to one of the picturesque bars around the port, known for their excellent fish and seafood cuisine.
Pilot: tourists are looked after by a Polish resident, whose tasks include help upon arrival, departure and stay, as well as registration for local trips.
Visa: required; tourist visa is valid 90 days for a period of 180 days (the visa entitles you to repeatedly cross the border); to obtain a visa, your passport must meet the following requirements:
- validity at entrance: 60 days from the date of expiry of the visa
- at least one blank page
A tourist visa must be obtained through the E-visa system (https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/; cost: 20 USD/person). It is also possible to purchase a visa upon arrival in Turkey at sales points at border crossing points (cost respectively: 30 USD/25 EUR/20 GBP/person, payable in cash). It is recommended to purchase visas via the electronic system. When crossing the Turkish border the person entering may be asked to submit valid medical insurance (for Itaka Customers it is the travel document that contains the insurance certificate no.) or proof of means of subsistence.
Temporary passport holders cannot obtain a visa in the E-visa system or at the border.

Language: Turkish; communication in English is also possible, more and more frequently in Polish.
Currency: Turkish lira (TRY); 1 EUR = approx. 18 TRY.
Tips: the rule applies that you give as much as you can afford. Earnings in Turkey are low and tips are often a great financial help. It is customary to tip drivers on local trips and waiters - approx. 5-10%.

Hotels: in Oludeniz the hotels are not very big, one-floor, sometimes extra rooms are built in the so-called basement. New hotels are practically not being built in the town, as the terrain is limited by high mountains. The hotels generally don't take up a large area, the rooms are rather small. They are simpler than those around Antalya, but beautifully situated, with a very friendly and family atmosphere. Service in the hotels has a greater respect for guests.
Beaches: Blue Lagoon - the most beautiful beach in Turkey - entry is payable approx. 1.5 EUR/person. Aside from this, there is a public, wide, sandy and rocky beach where entry is free. While for sunbeds and umbrellas you pay everywhere - approx. 2 EUR/person.
Local trips: organised by local tourist agencies on terms specified by them. There is a possibility, that if there are too few participants, a trip may be cancelled.
