Skorzystaliśmy z opcji Adult only. Pokoje hotelowe urządzone są w starym kolonialnym stylu. Trochę old school ale to tylko dodaje uroku. Bardzo przestronne z uroczym balkonem. Na terenie kompleksu znajduje się kilka restauracji. Śniadania i lunch są w formie bufetu w Caribbean buffet restaurant. Duży wybór, live cooking i świeże owoce. Wieczorem możliwość wyboru restauracji a Ła carte.

Niby zbierali to zielsko codziennie ale lazur to nie był.

Czystość na terenie hotelu nie budzi zastrzeżeń. Pokoje sprzstane codziennie. Obsługa hotelowa niestety nie była na najwyższym poziomie. Kilkukrotnie trzeba było informować o awarii drzwi do pokoju (brak możliwości otworzenia drzwi). Minibar, mimo że miał być uzupełniany codziennie, to wielokrotnie trzeba było prosić obsługę na korytarzu (np. o wodę). Jedzenie smaczne, duży wybór każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Drinki na bazie dobrych alkoholi. Pokój wymaga odnowienia a łazienka do remontu. W łazience spłuczka nie działał poprawnie, a woda z prysznica ciekła po podłodze. Zdarzyło się również, że woda ciekła z sufitu po lampie, całe szczęście, że do umywalki. Plaża najładniejsza w okolicy. Długa i szeroka, możliwość spacerowania. Całodobowa ochrona w hotelu i na plaży nikt nie zaczepia z ofertami wycieczek i sprzedaży pamiątek. Ogólnie hotel polecam, przy czym należy przymknąć oko na występujące mankamenty.

Hotel porządny, duży, miła i porządna obsługa. Bardzo duża oferta gastronomiczna, przez tygodniowy pobyt nie sposób wykorzystać wszystkich restauracji. Dania ala carte smaczne, zaskakująco duże porcje. Dobra oferta rekreacyjno-sportowa. Hotel bardzo bezpieczny, na terenie hotelu wielu pracowników ochrony. Piękna rozległa plaża z palmami, zawsze wolne leżaki. Jedynym minusem są pokoje hotelowe - łazienka standardem wykończenia i armatury przypomina mieszkania w wielkiej płycie w latach 70-80' w PRL. Bardzo kiepskiej jakości instalacja elektryczna, luźne gniazdka, niefunkcjonalne oświetlenie.

Hotel jest częścią ogromnego kompleksu Barcelo Bavaro Grand - od samego szlabanu pod recepcję jedzie się 10 min :). Część dla dorosłych to enklawa spokoju ale też dobrej zabawy. Jedzenie wbrew temu co kilka razy czytałem jest naprawdę jak na Dominikanę na bardzo wysokim poziomie. Produkty świeże, jedzenie doprawione, dużo rzeczy typu show-cooking (omlety, pancakes, naleśniki, kurczak z grilla itp). Dużo lokalnej karaibskiej kuchni, owoce morza oraz zawsze kącik meksykański z chilli con carne, nachosami, tortillami.. Codziennie lokalne owoce: m.in papaya, marakuja, ananas, ciekawa odmiana pomarańczy plus soki z tych owoców wyciskane na bieżąco. W całym kompleksie 10 restauracji ale carte. 5 dla gości tego hotelu bezpłatnych (La Brisa, Gourmet, Santa Fe, Hoya 19(ciężko znaleźć - przy polu golfowym) oraz Coral. W pozostałych jak ktoś się uprze to można zjeść za 15USD/osoba. Z La Brisa można też korzystać w trakcie dnia (11-17:30). Zdecydowanie polecam Gourmet niedaleko recepcji - podają wariację na ciepło a'la tatar z homara w skorupie - palce lizać. Steki rewelacyjne w Hoya19 oraz w La Brisa. Drinki w hotelu na bazie oryginalnych alkoholi (Brugal, Beefeaters gin - nie ma lipy). Pokoje po remoncie, nie czuć wilgoci. Mini barek uzupełniany codziennie w napoje, wodę, piwo, orzeszki i nachosy. Windy pomimo tylko dwóch pięter w budynkach są i nawet mają klimatyzację :). Goście hotelowi to 80% US i Kanada, reszta to lokalsi i trochę Europy. Od 18 do 118 lat. Aha i największy chyba plus to plaża - ma 2 km długości i jest prywatna, można się nachodzić i nikt Cię nie zaczepia żeby kupić paciorki. Zdecydowanie najlepsza spośród wszystkich okolicznych hoteli takich jak Lopesan, Melia czy Paradisus. I taki jeszcze mały plusik - goście tego hotelu mogą korzystać ze wszystkich praktycznie restauracji i kawiarni Barcelo Palace, ale tam jest taki młyn, że nie przychodzi mi do głowy po co to robić. Po kompleksie w razie czego co chwilę jeździ pociąg, który zabiera gości do najdalej położonych części np. do restauracji Hoya, która jest pół godziny drogi piechotą. Reasumując - będziecie zadowoleni. Mega hotel, wszystko można i tak powinno być. Jest relaks i można odpocząć. Jedyny minus jaki przychodzi mi do głowy to darcie japy zamiast jakiejś fajnej rozrywki dla dorosłych. Niemniej jednak czasami to też było fajne.

Hotel spełnił moje najśmielsze oczekiwania. Ogromny teren,, który można zwiedzić pieszo lub kolejką . Pola golfowe, sklepy z pamiątkami w rozsądnych cenach, Castro i dyskoteka. Położony przy pięknej plaży , chyba najładniej zagospodarowanej w tej okolicy. Tuż obok hotelu dzika plaża, sama natura,. Można zobaczyć żółwie, małe kraby, a nawet płaszczki w oceanie. Obsługa uśmiechnięta, rozśpiewana i bardzo pomocna. Pokoje czyste i zadbane . W części Palace bardziej nowoczesne , w części Beach bardziej w stylu karaibskim. Barek uzupełniany codziennie. Kilkanaście restauracji do wyboru., w tym a’la carte. Pyszne drinki i duży wybór jedzenia. Nie mogę znaleźć minusów , bo wszystko w tym hotelu było dopieszczone i dobrze zorganizowane . Cudowne wakacje !

Kompleks jak całość trochę przereklamowany, "przechodzony" i chciałby mieć 5 gwiazdek 1. Czystość 8/10 , wrażenie psuje słabo spisująca się obsługa pokojów - pod łóżkami cm kurzu, nie sprzątają dokładnie łazienki 2. Pokoje przynajmniej z numeracją >3000 zdecydowanie nie 5 gwiazdkowe, przestronne, wykończenie, meble, wyposażenie łazienki jak z hotelu 3*. Ciepłej wody rano nie ma co spodziewać się (reklamacja nie przynosiła skutku) 3. Bary: dobre alkohole, bez zarzutu. 4. B.dobre WiFi na terenie hotelu i w pokojach. Na plażę nie sięga niestety. 5. Posiłki: w restauracji hotelowej jedzenie b.dobre i spory wybór. Restauracja "Chez Gourmet" bez rewelacji (~piwo o 2st za ciepłe, zupa o 2st za zimna) - drugi raz bym nie poszedł. 6. Plaża b.fajna, piaszczysta (leżaki w cenie), brak baru z małymi przekąskami blisko plaży. Możliwość dalekich spacerów.

Hotel nastawiony na masową obsługę klientów. Nie jest zły, ale opis Itaki, że jest idealny na romantyczne wakacje w mojej opinii nie jest zbyt trafiony. Może dlatego, że trafiliśmy w termin amerykańskich spring break, kiedy to hotel przeżywał najazd bardzo młodych piszczących od rana i okupujących bary amerykanek. Ogromną zaletą hotelu jest bardzo duży wybór posiłków, w tym w restauracjach a la carte. Każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. My uwielbiamy owoce morza oraz ryby, które jedliśmy praktycznie przez cały tydzień. W ciągu tygodniowego pobytu 3 razy zostaliśmy pozbawieni przez obsługę ręczników z pokoju, zdarzało się, że hausekeeping ominął w ogóle nasz pokój. Ale coż........ masowa turystyka. Wszędzie na Dominikanie czuje się, że tysiące turystów odwiedza to miejsce, więc trudno oczekiwać kameralnej atmosfery, wyjątkowego traktowania czy romantyzmu.

Dodatkowo puszczana jest głośno muzyka na plaży (Rosyjskie przeboje). Ogólnie hotel dość wyraźnie faworyzuje Rosjan.

Hotel położony na bardzo dużym terenie, bardzo ładnie zagospodarowanym. Dużo terenów do spacerów. Pokoje ładne, wyżywienie bardzo dobre. Niestety obsługa w pokojach bardzo kiepska. Kilka razy o 6 wieczór musieliśmy interweniować, że pokój jest nieposprzątany. Właściwie codziennie zdarzały się problemy z wymianą ręczników. Pokojowa zabierała ręczniki, nawet jeżeli pozostawały na wieszakach i zapominała przynieść nowe lub przynosiła tylko dwa małe albo tylko dwa duże.

Piękny hotel, położony przy samej piaszczystej plaży z leżakami do dyspozycji, pokoje zadbane, codziennie posprzątane i wymienione ręczniki , dodatkowo mini bar codziennie uzupełniony. Jedzenie w formie bufetu szwedzkiego bardzo różnorodne, czyli dla każdego coś pysznego, kelnerzy dbają bardzo o gości . Miejsce przecudowne, czuliśmy się jak w raju. Szczerze wszystkim polecam

Hotel spełnił moje oczekiwania. Pokój był duży z dwoma dużymi łóżkami, sprzątany codziennie wraz z wymianą ręczników każdego dnia. Oczywiście zwyczajowo panie sprzątające pokój otrzymywały napiwki. Blisko do szerokiej plaży, na której zawsze były wolne leżaki. Basen przy hotelu duży. Kelnerki przynosiły drinki do leżaków. Obsługa hotelowa bez zastrzeżeń. W restauracji kelnerki przynosiły wodę, wino, piwo według naszego życzenia niezwłocznie. Jedynie wyżywienie było monotonne, mało urozmaicone. Ogólnie bardzo jesteśmy zadowoleni z wyjazdu do Dominikany i pobytu w tym hotelu. Polecamy.

Hotel bardzo zadbany aczkolwiek widać po pokojach, że dawno nie były odnawiane - taki karaibski styl. Pokoje codziennie sprzątane i bardzo czyste. Duży wybór jedzenia. Bardzo smaczne warzywa i owoce. Jednym z największych minusów to jakość drinków i alkoholi serwowanych na all inclusive. Obsługa w barach bardzo mało rozumiała w języku hiszpańskim, a tak jak wspomniałem sama jakość serwowanych drinków była bardzo niska. Cała reszta godna polecenia.
