Room service na tragicznym poziomie. Zawsze czegoś brakowało. Poza pierwszym dniem, nigdy nie było kompletu ręczników, barek w pokoju nigdy nie był kompletnie uzupełniany, brakowało kawy, cukru, herbaty, wody mineralnej, piwa. Kontakt z ekipą serwisową nie miał sensu, bo nikt nie mówił po angielsku. Turyści nie otrzymali mapy resortu, ani swojego hotelu, co utrudniało poruszanie się po terenie.

W hotelu Esmeralda przebywałam wraz z rodziną od 2 grudnia 2023r. przez dwa tygodnie Hotel był dopiero oddany do użytku po remoncie, gdzieniegdzie trwały jeszcze prace wykończeniowe, nie wszystko było w pełni sprawne ( szwankowała klimatyzacja, lodówka co skutkowało zmianą pokoju). Pomimo tych drobny problemów pobyt uważam za bardzo udany, przede wszystkim jest tam piękna plaża, 2 duże baseny, wystarczająca liczba leżaków, których nie trzeba o wschodzie słońca rezerwować jak w innych hotelach. Jest również bardzo dobre jedzenie serwowane zarówno w głównej restauracji jak i restauracjach ala carte, szczególnie polecam restauracje: mongolską, mashua i brazylijską. Serwis plażowy i przy basenach bardzo sprawny, bardzo dobre drinki przygotowywane na bazie dobrych alkoholi. Jedyne minusy to bardzo powolny personel serwujący napoje w głównej restauracji i marna znajomość języka angielskiego przez kelnerów - zdziwieni byli, że nie władamy językiem hiszpańskim.

Hotel czysty, zadbany, bezproblemowa obsługa - praktycznie z niczym nie miałem problemów. Ogromny kompleks, jest co robić ale też na odpoczynek znajdzie się miejsce. Pokoje trochę już zalatują przeszłością ale nie jest źle, choć można by się spodziewać trochę lepszej jakości w tej cenie. Plaża kilka minut od hotelu, razem z barami i wszystkim innym co jest potrzebne.

Jedzenie na średnim poziomie, jak dla mnie malo smaczne w porównaniu do bahia principe punta cana jakościowo gorsze. Pokoje typowo w stylu karaibskim, zadbane i czyste aczkolwiek o zapachu stęchlizny jakby nikt tam dlugo nie przebywał. Piękny ogród. Bardzo ładna plaża, czysta, nie było problemu ze znalezieniem leżaka. Bardzo miła obsługa w recepcji, w restauracji również choć malo osób mówiło po angielsku, większość w języku hiszpańskim. Słabe animacje, animatorzy mowili w języku hiszpańskim i tak prowadzili zajęcia, pojedyncze komendy w języku angielskim. Nie zachęcają gości do zabawy, wieczorem animatorzy tańczą a goście siedzą i patrzą. Nie podobało mi się to.

Hotel 5-cio gwiazdkowy jedynie z nazwy (jak na standardy europejskie). Pokoje są duże i nieźle wyposażone, jednak swoje już przeszły i sprzątane są głównie tam gdzie widać. Jedzenie jak to w all (...)
Hotel 5-cio gwiazdkowy jedynie z nazwy (jak na standardy europejskie). Pokoje są duże i nieźle wyposażone, jednak swoje już przeszły i sprzątane są głównie tam gdzie widać. Jedzenie jak to w all inclusive ... bez szału. Obsługa hotelowa mało mówi po angielsku co zdaje się być normą dla całej Dominikany. Duży plus za animacje - ekipa "entertainment" robi robotę. Kolejny duży plus to położenie przy prywatnej plaży (co nie jest standardem w kompleksie), gdzie nie ma większego problemu ze znalezieniem leżaków - mimo, że cześć Januszy "rezerwuje" je ręcznikami z samego rana. To samo dotyczy basenów - są 4: duży mały, jacuzzi dla dorosłych i plac ze zjeżdzalniami dla dzieci. Alkohol w barach nie tylko lokalny (dostępna np. 12 letnia whisky). Polecamy bar przy mniejszym basenie, przy większym obsługa zdaje się być zmanierowana i bez "one dollar" nie podchodź ;) Hotel jest częścią ogromnego kompleksu, gdzie poza murami jest jak u Kononowicza - nie ma niczego. Restauracja a'la carte są w kratkę: polecamy Limbo, El Olivo (o ile mają dobry dzień), Garden Grill, Areciffe, Maiko ... nie polecamy Bella Italia i hinduskiej. W pozostałych albo nie byliśmy, albo się nie wyróżniały w żadną stronę. Pomimo tego, że wakacje nie były specjalnie tanie, hotel nie był rewelacyjny w okolicy nie było nic ciekawego to cała reszta (plaża, ocean, pogoda etc.) zrobiła robotę (a w szczególności wycieczka na humbaki z Miguelem) i całość oceniamy na 6.

Hotel położony jest na bardzo dużej powierzchni co ma swój urok (nie było tłocznie). Meleksy dostępne na każdym kroku ułatwiają poruszanie się pomiędzy atrakcjami. Bardzo przyjazny, uśmiechnięty personel, jedzenie smaczne, plaża wspaniała z jasnym piaskiem, palmami i barami na plaży. Woda lazurowa. Tak naprawdę o nic nie trzeba się martwić. Można idealnie wypocząć. Zdecydowanie polecam!

Hotel jest świetnie utrzymany, ciągle poprawiany i czyszczony. Roślinność przycięta i pięknie zadbana. Basen chlorowany mocno - ale tylko na noc. Plaża rewelacyjna, jako jedyna z całego Bavaro czyszczona codziennie z wodorostów - co nie jest naturalna praktyką w porównaniu do innych hoteli. Hotel ma swoje lata, naturalnie w związku z ogromną wilgocią już widać tego efekty - ogniska pleśni, nieprzyjemny zapach czasem, mania chłodzenia przez obsługę do 18C jest totalnie niezrozumiała. Panowie z serwisu - malujący drzwi podczas pobytu - nie do zaakceptowania. Powyższe minusy traktujemy jako folklor -:) Ocena ogólna bardzo dobry z małym minusem. Hotel, ogród , jedzenie (szczegolnie owoce bomba) ,plaża i leżaki, czystość i pozytywne nastawienie pracowników- SUPER!!! Bardzo polecamy i z pewnością wrócimy .

Pobyt 10-22.03.2018 Hotel wyraźnie zużyty, bardzo mało miejsca przy minimalistycznych basenach, klimatyzacji nie da się włączyć z powodu wyraźnego jej zagrzybienia, widocznie od wieków nie czyszczona. Na ścianach pokoju niechlujnie zamalowane zmiany pogrzybicze /pokój 92106/. Łazienka z widocznymi naciekami rdzy, bardzo marne jakościowo środki do mycia. Meble w pokoju o bardzo marnym, żeby nie powiedzieć prymitywnym wystroju, zamalowane farbą olejną. Wyżywienie przeciętne, monotonne, brak owoców morza, co dziwi. Dużym mankamentem hotelu jest bardzo głośna muzyka na zewnątrz i wewnątrz restauracji. Brak reakcji obsługi na wielokrotnie zwracaną uwagę o hałasie, nawet w dość zdecydowany sposób. Nawet menager hotelu nie mógł sobie z tym poradzić, co dziwi. Wyraźne uzależnienie obsługi od oczekiwanych napiwków w 5 gwiazdkowym hotelu jest nieco żenujące. Generalnie w ocenie bywałego europejczyka 3 gwiazdki. Jedyny wniosek - nigdy więcej.

Położenie hotelu 100 m od plaży jest najlepszym rozwiązaniem. Dojazdy meleksami do dalszych hoteli (około 1 km) dwa, trzy razy dziennie może być męczące. Sam hotel Esmeralda jest położony w (...)
Położenie hotelu 100 m od plaży jest najlepszym rozwiązaniem. Dojazdy meleksami do dalszych hoteli (około 1 km) dwa, trzy razy dziennie może być męczące. Sam hotel Esmeralda jest położony w pięknym otoczeniu zadbanego ogrodu. W pobliżu dwa baseny jeśli ktoś się znudził plażą. Sama plaża przepiękna, jednak traci trochę na uroku gdy w sezonie wszyscy nagle z ogromnego kompleksu kilku hoteli znajdą się na niej. Nie jest to wielki problem bo po spacerze na północ po około 15 min robi się luźniej. Oferta żywieniowa nie jest dla kogoś kto ma słabą silną wolę. Trzeba uważać. Ilość i jakość serwowanych dań (i drinków) daleko wykracza poza pojęcie all inclusive. Warto zarezerwować restauracje już pierwszego dnia bo ilość miejsc jest ograniczona . niektóre restauracje są wyśmienite np. Maiko czy Do Pablo, pozostałe takie sobie. Dwa tygodnie spełnionych marzeń. Pocztówki nie oddają kolorów, piękna plaż i czystego oceanu. Wybraliśmy dwie wycieczki na przepiękną wyspę oraz do Santo Domingo. Sama podróż na wyspę była ekscytująca z tańcami na pokładzie i z pływaniem w zatoce. Sama wyspa przekroczyła moje skromne pojmowanie pojęcia "plaża", dla kogoś kto się wychował nad Bałtykiem. Robi ogromne wrażenie. Słowa przepiękna, bajeczna nie oddają w pełni odczuć na widok jaki jest na wyspie. Należy też wspomnieć o grillowanej languście, nie jakieś langustynce długości palca tylko o dużej sztuce mięsa. Następna wycieczka godna polecenia to stolica Dominikany wraz z fabryczką cygar. To nie jest Europa i po mimo wyraźnego wsparcia US mają wiele do zrobienia. Nasz rezydent Michał ciekawie o tym opowiedział. Daje do myślenia ale warto to zobaczyć. Byliśmy także pod wrażeniem kompetencji, zaangażowania oraz udzielanej pomocy naszych rezydentów Soni i Michała. Wszystkim polecam odwiedzenie Bavaro.
