2. DAY. TSKALTUBO - BATUMIBreakfast. Check out. Transfer to TSKALTUBO. Explore the Prometheus Cave with its imposing stalactites and stalagmites, discovered in 1983 when the Soviets were looking for caves that could be used as shelters in the event of a nuclear war. Lunch break. Transfer to BATUMI. A visit to the botanical garden, picturesquely situated on the hills, where you can see thousands of exotic plants from almost all climatic zones. 3. DAY. BATUMI Breakfast. Visiting BATUMI, where the culture of the East merges with modern works of urban planning. DAY 6. MCCHETA - ANANURI - GEORGIAN WARWAY - KAZBEGI - GERGETIBreakfast. Check out. Transfer to MCCHETA, the former capital and one of the most beautiful cities in Georgia. Its monuments are entered on the UNESCO list. Visiting the Cathedral of Saint Tzhovela, where, according to legend, the robe of Christ, which was brought from Jerusalem by Elisha, was buried. Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to the famous DŻWARI monastery, where, according to traditional sources, St. Nino. A short stop at the Ananuri fortress from the 17th century. Below the fortress walls is Żinwalskie Lake, an artificial reservoir created after the creation of a dam. Drive through the Georgian war road. Under the ominous term given to these areas due to heavy fighting at the beginning of the 19th century, there is an extremely picturesque route through the Greater Caucasus. Along the road you can enjoy beautiful views, great monuments, many fortifications and watchtowers, some of which have survived to this day. Drive along a picturesque mountain route through the Greater Caucasus to KAZBEGA, the most popular city on the Military Road, located at the foot of the slumbering Kazbek volcano (5047 m above sea level). Drive in SUVs among mountain scenery to GERGETI and visit the Church of St. Trinity, located at an altitude of 2,170 m above sea level.
