1. DAY. Collection of participants at the airport. Direct flight to Corfu. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Free time (depending on the time of arrival). Dinner, overnight.
2. DAY. KERKYRA - ACHILLION - VLACHERNA MONASTERY (route: approx. 40 km) Breakfast. Visiting the capital of the island of Corfu - KERKYRA, one of the most interesting cities in Greece, which dates back to the 8th century BC The capital is famous for its Byzantine fortifications with the influence of Venetian architecture that dominate the city. Corfu Old Town has been entered on the UNESCO list. A visit to the new fortress, from where there is a wonderful panorama of the city and the sea. Visiting the oldest church on the island - Panagia Antivouniotissa, now housing the Byzantine Museum. A walk through the old town: the town hall from the 17th century, the cathedral of St. Teodory, the representative Liston boulevard, the Church of St. Spiridion with the relics of the city's patron (inside visit), Spianada Square. Free time. A visit to the gardens of the ACHILLION Palace from the end of the 19th century, built for the Empress Sissi. The neoclassical summer residence is surrounded by paradise gardens overlooking the sea. A visit to the Monastery of VLACHERNA, connected to the mainland by a causeway. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
3. DAY. PALEOKASTRITSA - BELLA VISTA - MAKRADES - PERULADES - SIDARI (route: approx. 80 km) Breakfast. Transfer to the picturesque town of PALEOKASTRITSA, by the beautiful bay of the same name, where the water sparkles with many colors of turquoise. The movie "For Your Eyes Only" from the James Bond series was filmed here. Transfer to the BELLA VISTA viewpoint, from where there is a panoramic view of the heart-shaped bay and the west coast. A visit to the traditional village of MAKRADES and tasting of local products such as liqueur or fig jam. Transfer to the north coast to PERULADES and free time at the viewpoint, from where the picturesque coastal landscape stretches. Then drive to SIDARI, where the famous Channel of Love is located. According to a local legend, crossing the canal is supposed to foster happiness in love. Free time. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
4. DAY. LEFKADA - NIDRI - VASILIKI (route approx. 300 km) Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to the port and ferry crossing to Igumenitsa. Transfer to the island of LEFKADA, to the capital of the island of the same name. A walk among the narrow streets and colorful arcades: the church of Agios Spirydon, the church of Pantocrator with the tomb of one of the most famous Greek poets, Aristotle Valaroiti (entrance to the churches depending on their opening), port, town hall. Visit to the Faneromeni Monastery. Drive through NIDRI, the largest resort on the island, overlooking the island of Scorpios. A visit to one of the local vineyards, learning about the winemaking process and tasting. Transfer to the picturesque town of Vasiliki, where there are traditional Greek houses and a port with taverns serving local dishes. Free time. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, dinner, overnight.
5. DAY. FREE TIME / CRUISE: MEGANISI - SKORPIOS - MADOURI Breakfast. Free time or, optionally (for an additional fee on site), a cruise to the nearby islands of the Ionian Sea. Swim up to the Papanikolis caves and free time for a bath. Disembark the island of MEGANISI and walk through the charming village of Spartochori. A visit to the beach, free time and a barbecue meal (prepared by the crew). Return to the deck of the ship and circumnavigate the island of SKORPIOS, belonging to the Onassis family. The billionaire was on the island with Maria Callas, and later with Jacqueline Kennedy. Then, sail past the private, uninhabited island of MADOURI with a mysterious house. Arrival at the port of Nidri. Return to the hotel. Dinner, overnight.
6. DAY. ARTA - METEORA (route approx. 250 km) Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to the village of ARTA (ancient ambracia). A visit to the unique, famous stone bridge on the Arachthos River, built during the Roman times. Then the "suspended in the air", the Orthodox monasteries of METEOR - one of the biggest tourist attractions of mainland Greece. Spectacularly situated on the tops of Meteora rocks and entered on the UNESCO list. Rocks up to 540 m above sea level they are the second, after Mount Athos, center of monasticism and Orthodoxy in Greece. The first religious settlements settled on rocks at the end of the 10th century, while the oldest monastery dates back to the beginning of the 14th century. 7. DAY. METSOVO - JOANNINA (route approx. 230 km) Breakfast. Checking out. Drive through the charming mountain village of METSOVO to the capital of Epirus - JOANNINA, on the shores of Lake Pamvotida. Over the centuries, the city has changed its nationality, which is reflected in its diverse architecture. Walk around the center. Transfer to the port and ferry crossing in Corfu. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, dinner, overnight.
