1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Direct flight to Tunisia. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation, dinner, overnight.
2. DAY. DJERBA - KSAR HADDADA - CHENINI - KSAR OULED SOLTANE - DOUIRET (route: approx. 200 km) Breakfast. Check out. Ferry crossing from DJERBY to the mainland of Tunisia. Drive by 4x4 cars. A visit to KSARA HADDADA, one of the most interesting locations of the film "Phantom Specter". A visit to a fortified granary with a maze of long and narrow rooms. Drive to the depopulated village of CHENINI, and then to KSARU OULED SOLTANE, one of the most iconic ksars in Tunisia. Along the way, you can admire mostly abandoned houses carved in the rock. A visit to the Berber-built ghofras, forming 4-story buildings that have survived in the desert unchanged since the 15th century. Ksar Ouled Soltane in its heyday defended the local population against enemy invasions and protected from the hot Saharan sun. Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to the village of DOUIRET, currently inhabited by only two families. Visiting the troglodyte mosque, where you can see rock inscriptions from the distant Christian period and the times of the Berber Islamization. Accommodation in a traditional troglodyte house carved in the rock. Dinner. Overnight in comfortable but modest rooms, decorated in accordance with the Berber tradition. This is the perfect opportunity to feel the authentic atmosphere of desert life.
3. DAY. KSAR GHILANE (route: approx. 180 km) Breakfast. Check out. Drive in 4x4 cars into the Sahara desert to the palm oasis of KSAR GHILANE. It is here that the pebble desert transforms into beautiful sand dunes, forming the Great Eastern Erg. Among the sand dunes are the ruins of a fort from Roman times. Among Tunisian oases, Ksar Ghilane is distinguished by the presence of thermal springs in its area. Free time for swimming in the thermal waters in the middle of the oasis or, optionally (for an extra charge on site): a camel ride. Lunch. Drive in cars deep into the desert. In the evening, accommodation in tents in a camp in the desert. Dinner. Free time to admire the sunset. Overnight.
4. DAY. DOUZ - CHOTT EL JERID - TOZEUR (route: approx. 270 km) Breakfast. Check out. Drive through the Gates of the Great East Erg in the direction of DOUZ. Along the way, you can admire the changing landscape. The desert sands gradually give way to shrubs, and in the distance you can see the pink outline of the Jebel Tebaga mountains. With a bit of luck, you can meet the inhabitants here collecting the numerous "desert roses" that can be found in this area. Lunch at a local restaurant. A drive and a short stop at Tunisia's largest endless salt lake, CHOTT EL JERID, the surface of which is covered with a thin layer of salt and shimmers in the rays of the sun. Transfer to TOZEUR - a city located between two salt lakes, in an oasis famous for date palms. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, overnight.
5. DAY. CHEBIKA - TAMERZA (route: approx. 150 km) Breakfast. Drive by off-road cars along the route of the Paris-Dakar rally to the Camel Mountain. Time for photos. Then drive deep into the desert to the town from "Star Wars", which is the original decoration of the film saga. Further off-road trip to beautiful mountain oases: CHEBIKA, located on the border with Algeria, which was the setting of the Hollywood production of "The English Patient", awarded with an Oscar, and the TAMERZA, where "deglet nour" (fingers of light) come from, i.e. the best dates in Tunisia. Return to the hotel. Lunch. Free time. Dinner, overnight.
DAY 6. MATMATA - TOUJANE (route: approx. 350 km) Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to MATMATA, famous for its troglodyte houses and lunar landscapes, which prompted George Lucas and his successors to film many scenes of the "Star Wars" saga here. A visit to the hollow household of Berbers, the indigenous people of this region of Africa. Drive through the desert path to TOUJANE, a Berber settlement. Like the rock-carved Matmata houses, the Berber stone houses with flat roofs blend in perfectly with the rocky landscape of the region. Lunch. Transfer to Djerba. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, overnight.
7th DAY. DJERBA Breakfast. Free time or optional (for an extra charge on site): a bus tour of the most interesting corners of DJERBY. Drive to Midoun and visit the local market. Then a visit to Guellali - the town of potters. Visiting the museum and the manufacture of ceramic products. A walk along the Djerbahood route, a series of extremely beautiful graffiti paintings on the walls of buildings. The paintings were coordinated by a local artist, and over 150 graffiti artists contributed to their creation. Free time. Return to the hotel. Lunch. Free time, dinner, overnight.
8th DAY. Breakfast. Free time (depending on departure time), transfer to the airport and departure to Poland. For people who extend their stay for rest: breakfast, check-out, transfer to the airport, transfer to the selected hotel.
