The very name of Borneo evokes associations with a great, exotic expedition. This third largest island in the world is characterized by wonderful nature and a tropical jungle that is 130 million years old. It is a world that cannot perish. In 2007, at the initiative of WWF, an international environmental organization with a panda in its logo, the Heart of Borneo project was created to protect 220,000 people. km² of tropical forest. Since then, scientists in Borneo have been constantly discovering new species of animals and plants. The route of the trip leads through regions extremely rich in natural treasures, places of occurrence of endemic species of fauna and flora. A visit to the orangutan rehabilitation center, which, with great care, learns independence in order to come back to life in natural conditions, will provide a lot of emotions. Rest on Damai Beach, where the tropical jungle meets the ocean, is another strong point of the program. A great contrast to the journey through the tropical forests of Borneo is the opening visit to Kuala Lumpur, whose twin Petronas towers are a symbol of the city and the dynamic development of Malaysia.
