Description
1. DAY. Collection at the airport. Departure to Malaysia.
2. DAY. Arrival in Kuala Lumpur. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
3. DAY. KUALA LUMPUR - MEDAN Breakfast. Visiting KUALA LUMPUR, the capital of Malaysia: Tugu Negara - a monument dedicated to the heroes fighting for the independence of Malaysia, the Royal Palace - the heart of colonial Kuala Lumpur, the building of Sultan Abdul Samad, Independence Square and National Mosque and Thean Hou Temple. Free time at the twin Petronas towers, which are a symbol of the modern city. Transfer to the airport. Flight to MEDAN in Sumatra. Accommodation in the guesthouse. Evening walk around the city. Return to the guesthouse, dinner and overnight.
4. DAY. P.N. LEUSER Breakfast. Morning jungle trek at the LEUSER NATIONAL PARK, where, if you are lucky, you can meet orangutans and langurs. The route takes the stairs, then a path through the jungle. Depending on the trail chosen by the guide, quite steep ascents and descents may occur in the park. Return to the lodge. Free time to refresh. Checking out. Lunch. Transfer to the hotel near Berastaga. Accommodation, overnight.
5. DAY. LAKE TOBA - SAMOSIR Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to a village inhabited by the Karo ethnic minority, which has preserved its culture, language and customs. A visit to a traditional homestead. Then a short drive to the picturesquely situated Sipiso Piso waterfall. Free time for photos. Lunch. Transfer to the village of Parapat from where the cruise on LAKE TOBA to the island of SAMOSIR will begin. Accommodation in a hotel picturesquely situated on the shores of the lake, overnight.
6. DAY. AMBARITA Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Visiting the island on the lake is a unique opportunity to learn about the customs and culture of the Batak tribes. A few-hour cruise on the lake around the island is an extraordinary feast for the senses. The beautifully situated lake captivates with its landscapes. The numerous hills, cliff coast, waterfalls and rice fields create one of the most beautiful landscapes in Sumatra. Stop at the traditional "steelworks", that is, the settlement of the Batak people. Visiting the village, then a show of traditional dances. A visit to the small Batak museum, where everyday objects are collected. The next stop during the cruise is AMBARITA, a village once inhabited by cannibals. Here you can see the meeting place of the elders and the altar where human sacrifices were made and acts of cannibalism were performed. Free time for shopping at the local bazaar with original Batak handicraft. Hotel accommodation. Lunch. Free time to rest. Overnight.
7. DAY. Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to Medan airport. Lunch on the way. Flight to Yogyakarta on the Indonesian island of Java. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, overnight.
8. DAY. BOROBUDUR - YOGYAKARTA - PRAMBANAN Breakfast. Transfer to the BOROBUDUR temple - a jewel of Buddhist art and architecture. The entire complex is on the UNESCO list. The temple designed as a mandala is a kind of labyrinth. The route through the temple is designed in accordance with the philosophy of Buddhism and is supposed to lead the visitor to wisdom, i.e. understanding, which is one of the basic concepts of Buddhism. Visiting YOGYAKARTA: the old town, surrounded by high walls, reveals its extraordinary beauty only after crossing the first ring of the walls, inside which are hidden numerous batik workshops, craft workshops, small markets and mosques. Lunch. Sightseeing: Kraton, the sultan's palace and the PRAMBANAN temple entered on the UNESCO list. The temple complex dating back to the 9th century is one of the most beautiful and largest in Indonesia. The statues dedicated to the gods Vishnu, Siwa and Brahma as well as external decorations deserve special attention. Return to the hotel, overnight.
9. DAY. Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer by train to Mojokerto. Lunch. Transfer by coach to the Bromo volcano. Accommodation in a guesthouse, overnight.
10. DAY. P.N. BROMO-TENGGER-SEMERU Early in the morning, transfer by minibuses or off-road vehicles to the BROMO-TENGGER-SEMER NATIONAL PARK. Watching the sunrise from the caldera is a breathtaking spectacle of an extraordinary world awakening to life. The rising sun slowly illuminates the entire caldera, revealing individual volcanic cones located in an almost desert landscape. Free time for breakfast (in the form of a package). Drive to the Bromo volcano. Free time or for those willing to go to the top of the volcano. The difference in height from the foot to the edge is only about 130 meters, yet the view is unforgettable. The dusty road leads first along the path, then up the stairs to the very top, from which on one side you can see the caldera in full splendor, on the other side the depth of the volcanic crater, which seems to be a living organism. Return to the guesthouse, check out. A few-hour drive to Kalibar. Lunch on the way. Check-in at the hotel, time to relax, overnight.
11. DAY. KALIBARU - BALI - TANAH LOT Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. A visit to a plantation near KALIBAR, where cinnamon, vanilla, pepper, coffee and cocoa are grown. Transfer to the port, ferry crossing to BALI. Lunch on the way. Visiting one of the most beautiful Balinese temples - TANAH LOT. The temple is situated on a rock washed by the ocean and is one of the most photographed objects in Bali. Free time at the temple. Transfer to a hotel near Kuta. Check-in at the hotel, overnight.
12. DAY. UBUD Breakfast. Free time for sunbathing or participation in an optional trip (for an additional fee on site): transfer and free time at the local market, where you can buy original Balinese souvenirs and exotic fruits. Drive to the Taman Ayun Temple, where many mountain deities are worshiped, and then to the viewpoint with a beautiful view of the rice terraces. Transfer and visit to the temple of Ulun Danu picturesquely situated on the shores of Lake Bratan. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Puri Saren Agung Palace in UBUD. Free time. Ubud is famous all over Indonesia for its numerous craft workshops, art galleries and countless temples. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
13. DAY. KLUNGKUNG - GOA LAWAH - TENGANAN - BUKIT JAMBUL - PURA BESAKIH Breakfast. Free time for sunbathing or participation in an optional trip (for an additional fee on site): transfer to KLUNGKUNG, visiting the palace built in the 17th century. In its heyday, the palace was surrounded by a moat, numerous courtyards and pavilions were embedded in the greenery of the park. Only a few buildings have survived to this day, most of them were destroyed by the Dutch at the beginning of the 20th century. Visiting the GOA LAWAH temple founded in the 11th century by a Hindu monk. The temple is located next to a cave inhabited by large numbers of bats. Then, the program includes a stop in the small village of TENGANAN. The inhabitants of the settlement to this day cultivate ancient traditions. The characteristic architecture of the houses also deserves attention. The route continues to the BUKIT JAMBUL viewpoint. Lunch. At the end of the day, visiting PURA BESAKIH - the most important and largest temple of Bali. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
