2. DAY. TBILISI Breakfast. Sightseeing in the capital of Georgia - TBILISI: Aleja Shota Rustaveli, a walk around the old town and the vicinity of the Narikala Fortress, Sioni Cathedral, the oldest monastery in Tbilisi - Anchishati. A cable car ride to the Narikala fortress, from which there is a magnificent view of the city. Walk to the picturesque waterfall located near the sulfur baths district. Free time for an individual meal, a walk, the purchase of souvenirs and photos. Return to the hotel. Optional (for an extra charge on site): exit to the sulfur baths and bath. 3. DAY. KACHETIA - BODBE MONASTERY - SIGNAGI Breakfast. Free day in Tbilisi or, optionally (for an additional fee on site), a trip to KACHETIA - the land of wine and other specialties, a region rich in medieval fortresses, charming towns and magnificent monasteries. Transfer to the BODBE MONASTERY, visiting the burial place of St. Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia. Transfer to SIGNAGA, where the oldest wine festival in Georgia takes place. Visiting the town and the great wall from the time when Signagi was an impregnable fortress. Transfer to the vineyard. Wine tasting and a show of bread baking and churchele production, commonly known as Georgian snickers. Transfer to MCCHETA, which was the capital of Georgia until the 5th century AD Visiting the legendary temple of Sveti Tskhoveli, the place of coronation and the eternal rest of the rulers of Georgia. Free time. Transfer to the picturesquely situated DŻWARI MONASTERY, sightseeing. Drive through the Georgian war road. 5. DAY. STEPANTSMINDA - TRUSO VALLEY - ZAKAGORI FORTRESS - ST. TRINES Breakfast. Free time or, optionally (for an additional fee on site), a trip to the Truso Valley and the Gergeti Monastery. Transfer to the village of STEPANTSMINDA located at an altitude of 1740 m above sea level, with a stop at the viewpoint in front of the Krzyżowa Pass (2379 m above sea level). Departure by off-road vehicles to the phenomenal TRUSO VALLEY near the border with South Ossetia. The valley is known for its mineral springs, lakes, medieval defense towers, the Abano Monastery and the ZAKAGORI FORTRESS with its military border point.
