1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to Sicily to Palermo. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Free time. Dinner, overnight.
2. DAY. PALERMO - MONREALE (route: approx. 20 km) Breakfast. Visiting PALERMO, the capital of Sicily, beautifully situated at the foot of Monte Pellegrino, an exotic mixture of European and Oriental culture. The architecture of Palermo shows Arab, Norman, Baroque and Art Nouveau influences. During the tour you can see, among others wonderful cathedral. Due to the time of its construction, reconstruction and renovation, the cathedral is characterized by a wonderful combination of many architectural styles. Then the most famous fountains of Palermo with the three-tiered Fountain of Shame and Piazza Bellini with interesting Norman-Saracen monuments. Next in the program are the famous catacombs in the Capuchin monastery housing the mummies of monks and lay people, and the Palatine Chapel. Transfer to MONREALE. Visiting the cathedral with its magnificent mosaics - the most outstanding work of Sicilian-Norman art. Return to the hotel, free time. Dinner, overnight.
3. DAY. ERICE - SEGESTA (route approx. 320 km) Breakfast. Transfer to one of the most charming towns in Sicily - ERICE. The city is made up of winding, cobbled streets, austere stone buildings, numerous churches and the so-called vanellas - very narrow passages. A walk through the old part of the city, located on the top of a hill (Monte San Giuliano - 752 m above sea level). Transfer to SEGESTA. Visiting the sensationally preserved temple from the 5th century BCE Superbly restored, towering over the area, it is one of the best-preserved Doric temples in the world. Return to the hotel. Dinner, overnight.
4. DAY. CASTELBUONO - CEFALU (route approx. 250 km) Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to CASTELBUONO and visiting the famous castle built in the 14th century. Then drive to CEFALU, known as the "Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea", lying at the foot of the mighty La Rocca rock. A walk to the center of the town with its most famous monument - the monumental cathedral from the 12th century, built by Norman King Roger. Free time. Transfer to a hotel near Cefalu. Accommodation, dinner, overnight.
DAY 5. LIPARIAN ISLANDS (route: approx. 270 km) Breakfast. Transfer to Milazzo and cruise to the capital of the LIPARIAN ISLANDS archipelago - Lipari. A stroll through the bustling town, full of restaurants, cafes, colorful shops. Free time. Sail to the island of Vulcano, whose characteristic element is a beach with black, volcanic sand Walk around the island Free time for bathing in the healing sulfur muds Return cruise to Sicily Return to the hotel Dinner, overnight stay
6th DAY ETNA - TAORMINA (route: approx. 500 km) Breakfast. Free time or optional (for an extra charge on the spot): entry to ETNA. Dominating the eastern coast of Sicily, Mount Etna is the highest active volcano in Europe (3340 m above sea level). Transfer by coach to the parking lot at the height of the Silvestri craters (approx. 1800 m above sea level). For those willing (for an extra charge on site): ride a jeep to an altitude of 2,900 m a.s.l. Transfer to TAORMINA. Visiting the Teatro Greco, picturesquely situated ruins of an ancient theater. Walk on Corso Umberto to Piazza IX Aprile with an observation deck over Mount Etna and the bay. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
7. DAY. REST Breakfast. Free time for sunbathing and exploring the area individually. Dinner, overnight.
