Lavender and ocher have been part of the life and landscape of Provence for hundreds of years. Their unusual colors are inextricably linked with this beautiful corner of France. Ocher paints the landscape of Vaucluse in seventeen shades, from red to yellow. Blooming lavender fields attract tourists from all over the world every year. 1. DAY.Collection of participants. Departure to France.
2. DAY.Arrival at the hotel, accommodation. Free time to rest. Dinner. Overnight.
3. DAY. GORDES - ROUSSILLON - VILLARS - RUSTRELBreakfast. Departure to GORDES, a picturesque town situated in terraces around a mountain, on top of which rises a Renaissance castle from the 16th century, which today functions as a town hall and a museum. This is one of the most beautiful places of Luberon that inspired many writers, painters, photographers and filmmakers. Transfer to ROUSSILLON, a beautiful village whose greatest asset is its warm ocher color. Walk along the ocher trail (approx. 1 km), leading through picturesque rock formations of unusual shapes and colors. On a clear day, the orange and red of the cliffs contrast beautifully with the green pines and the blue of the sky. Then drive along the ocher road through VILLARS and RUSTREL, whose amazingly beautiful surroundings are called the Provencal Colorado. Return to the hotel, overnight.
4. DAY. BONNIEUX - LOURMARIN - SILVACANE - AIX-EN-PROVENCEBreakfast. Drive along a picturesque road at the foot of the Petit Luberon. A short visit to BONNIEUX located on a hill with beautiful buildings, numerous squares and cobbled streets. The town offers a beautiful panorama of the surrounding hills, vineyards, colorful fields and fruit orchards. A walk around LOURMARIN placed on the list of the most beautiful towns in France. Visiting the castle, built in the 15th century on the foundations of a fortress from the 12th century. A visit to the local cemetery where the most famous inhabitant of Lourmarin - Albert Camus is buried. A short stop in SILVACANE - visiting the Cistercian Abbey, the history of which dates back to the 12th century. Afternoon at AIX-EN-PROVENCE. Walk through the Cours Mirabeau, a beautiful shaded boulevard with fountains and cafes, elegant Place d'Albertas with a fountain; Place de l'Hôtel de Ville with the clock tower and the town hall, Saint-Sauveur cathedral with a beautiful interior combining elements of three styles: Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque. Return to the hotel, overnight.
5. DAY. COUSTELLET - SAINT-CHRISTOL - SAULTBreakfast. Departure to the Lavender Trail. The journey begins at the Lavender Museum in COUSTELLET, where visitors can learn about the cultivation, harvesting and distillation of lavender. Drive through SAINT-CHRISTOL to picturesque SAULT, a city surrounded by lavender fields, considered its capital. Walk around the town, visit the lavender garden and free time to buy local specialties: nougat, lavender honey and macarons. Return to the hotel, overnight.
DAY 6. AWINIONBreakfast. Check out from the hotel. Arrival at AVINION - a city located on the left bank of the Rhone, surrounded entirely by medieval defensive walls, the former seat of archbishops and popes. Time for a cup of café au lait in one of the cafes on the picturesque Place Crillon. Sightseeing: the majestic Palace of the Popes dominating the city; Romanesque cathedral of Notre-Dame des Doms, famous for the song Saint-Bénezét bridge. Free time at Place de l'Horloge, the focal point of the city with the theater, town hall, many restaurants, bars and cafes. Departure to Poland.
7th DAY.Arrival in Poland.
