Description
1. DAY. Collection of participants. Trip to Italy via the Czech Republic and Austria with short stops.
2. DAY. ORVIETO Arrival in the morning of ORVIETO, the ancient Etruscan city, beautifully situated on a hill, also famous for its fine wines. Take the cable car to the center, walk to Piazza Duomo. Tour the monumental cathedral with its dazzling mosaic façade and the chapel of the Holy Corporal. Free time. Transfer to the hotel in Fiuggi, accommodation, dinner, overnight.
3. DAY. VISUAL - PUMPS Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to VZUWIUSZ - the only active volcano in continental Europe. Entry by coach to the car park on the volcano slope, walk to the observation deck. Transfer to POMPEI, visiting the excavation site of the ancient city, buried in volcanic ash in the 1st century CE Transfer to a hotel near Tropea, in the Calabria region. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
4. DAY. REST Breakfast. Free time - rest on the beach. Dinner, overnight.
5. DAY. REST / LIPARIAN ISLANDS Breakfast. Free time or optional (for an extra charge on site): a day trip to the LIPARIAN ISLANDS, a beautiful archipelago once considered the seat of the gods. Magnificent landscapes, volcanoes and exotic nature attract tourists from all over the world. Transfer to Tropea, embarkation on a tourist ship. The route of the cruise passes through Lipari - the largest island and capital of the archipelago, Vulcano - with a characteristic gas cloud above the island and Stromboli, known for the volcano of the same name - the most active in Europe, with regular eruptions every 10-20 minutes, ejecting gases and ashes. Return to port. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
6. DAY. PIZZO - ZUNGRI - TROPEA Breakfast. Transfer to PIZZO, where the historic Aragonese Castle is located, where Joachim Murat - king of Naples was imprisoned and sentenced to death. Visiting the castle, and then a very interesting church - Piedigrotta from the 17th century, carved in volcanic tuff. Free time to taste the well-known Pizzo "tartufo" ice cream. Drive to ZUNGRI, a very well-preserved rock town with numerous caves available for sightseeing. Transfer to an agritourism farm producing and selling typical Calabrian food products. Tasting. Transfer to TROPEI - one of the most beautiful cities in Calabria, picturesquely situated on the promontory of the same name. Tropea impresses with Mediterranean architecture, and from the upper part of the city there is a magnificent view of the Aeolian Islands. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
7. DAY. REST Breakfast. Free time - rest on the beach. Dinner, overnight.
8. DAY. REST / TAORMINA Breakfast. Free time or optional (for an extra charge on site): a day trip to the Sicilian TAORMINA. The city is one of the most visited places in Sicily, it attracts tourists with its exoticism and a wealth of monuments. Sightseeing: Teatro Greco - picturesquely situated ruins of an ancient theater. Walk from Corso Umberto to the square with the observation deck, from where there is a wonderful view of the entire bay and the volcano Mount Etna. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
9. DAY. REST Breakfast. Free time - rest on the beach. Dinner, overnight.
10. DAY. ALTOMONTE Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to the town of ALTOMONTE, famous for the most beautiful Gothic church in the region - Santa Maria della Consolazione and the museum where the works of Tuscan masters are stored. A walk around the city, a visit to the church. Optional (for an extra charge on site): tasting liqueurs and tartines (sandwiches) and nduja - a spicy sausage originating in Calabria. Transfer to a hotel in the Fiuggi area. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
11. DAY. BAGNOREGIO - VERONA Breakfast. Transfer to BAGNOREGIO, a walk through the "Dying City", spectacularly situated on the top of a tufa rock, surrounded by a deep moat, to which only one bridge leads. Transfer to VERONA, the city of "Romeo and Juliet". Walk from the Roman amphitheater, Arena, through Piazza dei Signori to Casa Capuletti with Juliet's famous balcony. Free time. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, overnight.
12. DAY. SIRMIONE Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to SIRMIONE, a town beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Garda, with a fairy tale castle of the Scaliger family. Boat trip on the lake. Free time. Departure to Poland.
13. DAY. Arrival in Poland in the morning.
