Dreamlike beaches, exotic landscapes, great weather, fantastic conditions for watersports, original music and terrific cuisine make the "last paradise of the Atlantic" a great destination for unforgettable holidays.

On the Atlantic Ocean, approx. 600 km west of the coast of Senegal is the Republic of Cape Verde (in Portuguese Republica de Cabo Verde). It is created by an archipelago of 10 islands and 8 islets, which are divided into two groups: Windward Islands (Ilhas de Barlavento), consisting of: Sant Antão, São Vicente, Santa Luzia, São Nicolau, Sal and Boa Vista, as well as the Leeward Islands (Ilhas de Sotavento), which include: Maio, Santiago, Fogo and Brava. Each of them is different and each worth getting to know. Due to the close proximity of the African continent and the period of Portuguese colonization, European and African influences have been mixed, which over time contributed to the creation of its own specific culture. Cabo Verde is a peculiar mix of Africa, Portugal and Brazil. The local population for the most part are good-looking and hospitable Creoles (80%) - African-Portuguese descendants of former colonists. In 1975, the islands gained independence and became an independent republic. From Cape Verde comes the famous singer Cesaria Evora - the queen of the extremely popular music form in Cabo Verde called morna. You could meet her walking with a cigar through the streets of the beautiful colonial town of Mindelo in São Vicente, where she was born. You can fall in love with the music of Cape Verde the first time you hear it, in addition to morna - called the local blues, there are other forms of music like coladeira - a little more energetic, resembling the Brazilian samba. Music accompanies residents in their daily lives, makes festivities more colourful, allows to express all emotions. Other notable local performers are Lura and Bau. Tourism on the Islands developed relatively recently, mainly in Sal, São Vicente and Boa Vista.

There is no mass tourism here yet, and that is why the islands are called the last paradise on Earth. We offer you holidays in Sal, which has one of the finest beaches on the archipelago, excellent conditions for watersports, terrific restaurants and the colourful town of Santa Maria. The island is well prepared to welcome tourists, the hotel offer is adapted to the needs of even very demanding guests. The landscape of Sal can shock at first sight, there is little vegetation, and the surroundings at times resemble a desert, however, the first visit to the huge beach with very fine, powder sand, washed over by the turquoise Atlantic Ocean immediately changes the first impression. Great beaches and favourable winds here attracts enthusiasts of windsurfing and kitesurfing. Sal, and particularly Ponta Preta beach is considered one of the best places in the world for these sports. There are also superb conditions for diving and fishing. A place where tourists meet is Santa Maria. The town enlivens in the evening, numerous cafes resound in the international buzz of voices and local music. There is plenty of shops here where you can buy both local products and sport accessories. In Sal you can have a great meal in local restaurants, where menus are based on fresh fish and seafood prepared in hundreds of ways. - turquoise sea and endless beaches on Sal island
