Hotel o niskiej zabudowie, przez to bardziej kameralny, plaża niewielka ale bardzo ładna turkusowe morze, jasny piasek i palmy. Pokój ładny, jednak trochę ciemny i łazienka wymaga remontu. Obsługa hotelowa uprzejma, jedzenie bardzo dobre - dużo kuchni europejskiej co jest dużym plusem, kilka restauracji na terenie hotelu i zróżnicowane posiłki każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie, pyszne świeże owoce, bardzo dobra pizzeria. Bar przy plaży w ramach all inclusive.

Hotel położony 4 km od najbliższej miejscowości (Bayahibe) nie daje możliwości korzystania z atrakcji poza hotelem (w ramach pieszych wycieczek). Hotel dobry - godny polecenia, z piękną piaszczystą plażą, morze prawie bez fal, można popływać kajakiem, katamaranem, można się wybrać na snurkling. Luźna atmosfera, świetne animacje w ciągu dnia i wieczorem, kilka barów czynnych prawie non stop, restauracje a la carte (w ramach pobytu otrzymaliśmy 6 bezpłatnych wejść na kolacje a la carte w restauracjach Mexico, Steak house i Toscana - duży plus!!). Pokoje hotelowe - tradycyjne w stylu karaibskim, bez specjalnej wygody i luksusu, do tego toalety w systemie amerykańskim - z tym ciągle były problemy jeśli chodzi o drożność kanalizacji. I to chyba jedyny minus całego naszego pobytu w Hotelu Catalonia Gran Dominicus. Poza tym - polecamy w 100%!

The exploding beauty of Dominican flora and fauna, white sandy beaches and clear turquoise water are the attractions that await those visiting the island. The programme of the trip includes the unique town of Altos de Chavon - a colonial settlement built from coral to the design of Italian architecture from the 16th century, a cruise on a catamaran and fast motorboat, Piscina Natural - natural pool on the Caribbean Sea also called the biggest bath of the Caribbean, where you can encounter red starfish, time for sunbathing on one of the beaches in Saona. Santo Domingo — a visit to one of the oldest cities in the Caribbean, which combines modern sophistication with centuries-old charm.
