Ze wszystkimi mozna sie swobodnie porozumiec po angielsku. Posilki w hotelu byly wystarczajaco urozmaicone, jak na pobyt tygodniowy. Nie ma jakis specjalnie wykwintnych dan, ale uwazam, ze to co serwuja jest w zupelnosci wystarczajace i smaczne. Hotel jest polozony blisko centrum Angra do Heroismo. Z hotelu roztacza sie bardzo ladny widok. Pokoj z widokiem na ogrod ma swoje plusy, poniewaz jest ciszej od tamtej strony oraz nie ma ludzi. Zalezy kto co lubi, ale my bylismy zadowoleni. Jedynym minusem hotelu jest to, ze zupelnie nic sie tam nie dzieje wieczorami.

Obsługa na bardzo wysokim poziomie, pokoje czyste, zadbane, jeśli nie ma widoku na ocean jest na ogród palmowy przez który przebija widok na ocean, śpiew ptaków i szum palm o niebo lepszy, zapewniam, niż widok oceanu. Uwaga!!! Istnieje niebezpieczeństwo dostania pokoju na poziomie -1 tam widok niestety na ścianę z betonu, koszmar, na szczęście nam się to nie trafiło ale innym gościom z naszego autokaru tak. Jedzenie: bardzo smaczne ale niewielki wybór (to nie tak jak w hotelach np. Egipt, Turcja itp.:)

Obsługa hotelowa ( recepcja, kelnerzy ) na bardzo wysokim poziomie. Hotel bardzo spokojny, bez animacji, bez muzyki. Doskonała opieka rezydenta.

Hotel powinien zmienić nazwę z Do Caracol, na Do Karaluch, których zabiłem sztuk 5. Czasy świetności ma dawno za sobą, a z 4 gwiazdek ująłbym co najmniej 2. Drugiego dnia pozostałości ze śniadania (czyli: kiełbaski parówkowe oraz podsmażana kiełbasa) znalazły się w dniu wieczornym. Chyba ktoś im zwrócił uwagę, bo już tak ewidentne oszustwo się już nie pojawiło w tak jaskrawym przykładzie. Obsługa była oczywiście miła i profesjonalna, ale serwis sprzątający jedna był bardzo zarobiony i czasem się nie wyrabiał przed naszym powrotem z dosyć długich wycieczek.

Czysty, zadbany hotel. Pokoje bardzo ładne dobrze urządzone (lodówka, TV-brak polskich programów, suszarka do włosów, ręczniki). Sprzątane codziennie, bardzo dokładnie, wymiana ręczników oraz pościeli. WiFi w pokoju i na recepcji. Śniadania bardzo smaczne, bardzo duży wybór (pyszna kawa!). Obiadokolacje smaczne lecz mały wybór (lecz codziennie urozmaicone). Rzeczy typu pizza, frytki itp. brak. Picie wino białe, czerwone, woda, sok (za darmo). Obsługa bardzo sympatyczna w restauracji jak i na recepcji. Basen dla dzieci nieco brudny, lecz większy czyszczony regularnie. Czasem brakuje leżaków. W mieście pamiątki dość drogie, jednak wybierając się do miasta Playa da Vitoria w sklepie Marina bardzo ładne i połowę tańsze. Warto wypożyczyć auto, w zupełności starcza na jeden dzień, aby objechać całą wyspę (koszt 1 dzień: 72 euro (Fiat Punto+ubezpieczenie). Na sam koniec warto wspomnieć, że jeśli ktoś wybiera się na Azory w celach opalania się to słońce pokazuje się tutaj bardzo rzadko. Temperatura zawsze około 24 stopni (na 7 dni - 2 dni słoneczne).

Hotel położony za blisko tętniącej życiem ulicy, w pobliżu dyskoteka. Dobrze, że była klimatyzacja i można było zamknąć okna, które nie przepuszczały hałasu. Obsługa hotelowa, poza małymi wyjątkami bardzo miła i uprzejma. Hotel posiada jedno piętro z pokojami dla palących z numerami się od 301, o czym nie wiedziała rezydentka,a recepcja nie pytała gości i całą grupę Polaków początkowo kwaterowano na tym właśnie piętrze. Niestety brak profesjonalizmu recepcji! Mimo wykupienia \'pokoju w morze\' i zapewnień rezydentki o pełnym widoku na morze, nie pokryło się to w praktyce, bo miało się wrażenie, że zmiana tego dnia przydzielała pokoje jak \'popadło\', zamiast wziąć pod uwagę typ pokoju wykupiony przez uczestnika Itaki. Wyżywienie smaczne,ale nieurozmaicone, codziennie to samo menu. Jedyną niespodzianką było wino i woda mineralna do kolacji bez dodatkowej opłaty. Kryty basen był w remoncie, ogród przy hotelu był zamknięty i na balkonie był brak stolików. Przykre, że nie można było oddychać świeżym powietrzem odpoczywając na leżakach przy otwartym basenie, bo nie było zakazu palenia i rozstawione były popielniczki. Ten hotel mogę polecać palaczom!
