Irytujący zwyczaj rezerwacji leżaków, prawdopodobnie od siódmej rano. Straszne zagęszczenie gości na plaży hotelowej. Bardzo zadbane tereny ogrodowe w hotelu. Niekiedy nieprzyjemne zapachy kanalizacji i zapach wody z kranu, ale to chyba problem na całej wyspie.

Perfekcyjna czystość, jedzenie smaczne (o co nie tak łatwo przy takiej skali) i urozmaicone, dużo ryb i owoców morza (we wtorki langusty bez ograniczenia), restauracje tematyczne bardzo dobre, tylko El Pescador może rozczarować miłośników owoców morza.

Hotel spełnił nasze oczekiwania. Pomimo dużej ilości gości nie było problemu ze znalezieniem leżaka na plaży czy przy basenie o każdej porze dnia. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne i urozmaicone. Jedyny mankament to sporo ludzi w restauracjach. Niekiedy trzeba było czekać na stolik. Ponadto bardzo gwarno. Ciężko było usłyszeć ładną muzykę w tle, ponieważ skutecznie była zagłuszana przez krzyczące dzieci. Kelnerzy wywiązywali się rewelacyjnie ze swoich obowiązków. Do tego zawsze pogodni i uśmiechnięci. Kompleks hotelu jest bardzo duży. Jednak przemieszczanie się z miejsca na miejsce nie sprawiało żadnego problemu, ponieważ meleksy jeździły dokładnie co chwilę. Plaża bardzo długa, więc można było chodzić na długie spacery ciesząc się pięknym widokiem na turkusowe wody oceanu. Plaża w niektórych miejscach była zanieczyszczana przez wodorosty. Jednak pracownicy hotelowi starali się na bieżąco ją uprzątać. Wi-fi w Esmeraldzie działa w całym lobby bez problemu. Można korzystać bez ograniczeń na dwa urządzenia. Czytałam wcześniej opinie, że są problemy. To nie jest prawdą. My korzystaliśmy z aplikacji WhatsApp. Mieliśmy cały czas łączność.

Nie korzystałam z animacji hotelowych - zatem nie oceniałam tej pozycji. W okolicy nie ma żadnych atrakcji poza innymi hotelami, hotel to część ogromnego kompleksu (a nie kameralny hotel, jak go opisywano zarówno nam jak i innym wczasowiczom) - warto zmienić sposób prezentacji tej oferty, Hotel nie wystawia rachunków na usługi dodatkowo płatne (w związku z tym nie można zweryfikować, czy prawidłowo naliczono wszystkie dodatkowe opłaty), obsługa nie zawsze staje na wysokości zadania, część próśb nie jest realizowana (ich realizację uzależnia się od wręczenia napiwku, co jest pewnym kuriozum - napiwek zwyczajowo wręcza się po dobrze wykonanej usłudze).

Hotel okazał się bardzo dobrym wyborem jednakże ze względu na drobne niedociągnięcia wymienione poniżej nie mógł liczyć na najwyższą ocenę w naszej opinii. Pokój spełniał nasze oczekiwania, jednakże przykry zapach z klimatyzacji który okazał się nieusuwalny uniemożliwił przyznanie wyższej oceny. Wyżywienie w hotelu okazało się typowo amerykańskie a zatem dość ciężko strawne, nie mniej jednak różnorodność wyboru i charakterystyczne dla kuchni regionalnej owoce morza były bardzo przyjemnym urozmaiceniem. Obsługa hotelowa niestety nie spisała się w zakresie dostarczenia ręczników plażowych (dopiero po 3 krotnym upominaniu się sprawa została załatwiona, poza tym pokój dwukrotnie nie został posprzątany). Animacji w naszej części hotelu praktycznie nie było, jedynie w dalszych częściach co wymagało dodatkowego poszukiwania po całym rozbudowanym kompleksie. Położenie hotelu było znakomite, długa plaża i piękne widoki - całkowicie zaspokajające. Transfer z lotniska la romana jednak był nieco bardziej uciążliwy niż mógłby być z punta cana. Plaża niestety brudzona była regularnie wyrzucanymi przez ocean glonami z którymi choć obsługa walczyła to przegrywała. Konieczność rezerwowania leżaków zarówno na plaży jak i na basenie ręcznikami przed innymi gośćmi ( o 7 rano już nie było miejsc) było przykrym zwyczajem i niestety koniecznością. Atrakcje w postaci wycieczek całkowicie przypadły nam do gustu i były bardzo interesujące. Ogólnie hotel w kwestii cenowej był dobrym wyborem. Przelot dreamlinerem w klasie premium w pełni spełnił nasze oczekiwania choć zmiana samolotu przed wylotem i opóźnienie tym spowodowane nie pozwala nam na wystawienie wyższej oceny. Wakacje na Dominikanie zdecydowanie utwierdziły nas że istnieje raj na ziemi i zdecydowanie będziemy rekomendować wyprawy naszym znajomym w ten rejon świata, szczególnie z bardzo sprawną obsługa biura podróży ITAKA.

Hotel/cześć Esmeralda/ w porządku,bardzo czysto w pokoju,restauracji,na basenie jak i terenie całego obiektu.Jedzenie dobre,choć na kolacji dania w bufecie wyglądały na wysuszone /jakby od wczoraj np.makaron i inne/.Płatne wifi z Esmeraldy zanikało po przejeżdzie do innej części resortu np Water Park,Punta Cana ,gabinet lekarski w części Ambar co było denerwujące,bo nie działał internet/przypominam płatnu ok.50 USD za tydzień/.Po powrocie do części Esmeralda trzeba było się od nowa logować do wifi.Skoro można korzystać z całego resortu Bahia Principe to płatne wifi powinno działać na terenie całego resortu / to powinien hotel wziąć pod uwagę i postarać się ten problem rozwiązać na korzyść turysty oczywiście.Doświadczyłam tego problemu spędzając przez dwa dni po cztery godziny na oczekiwaniu na przyjecie do lekarza / zachorowałam i przede mną było 2 pacjentów,pech na drugi dzień byli ci sami panowie w gabinecie lekarza,ja pod drzwiami 4 godz. w oczekiwaniu na zastrzyk i inhalację /ale jak już napisałam mój pech /Wtedu właśnie nie działał internet/ a potrzebowałam/,gdyż byłam w innej części resortu,więc tu minus dla hotelu.Inne aspekty działalności hotelowej jak dla mnie bez zarzutru.Obsługa w recepcji,restauracjach,barach,basenie ,pokojach,plaży bardzo pomocna i miła.Animatorki ze Scout Club dla dzieci zaangażowały moją wnuczkę /6 lat/ do przedstawienia wieczornego Król Lew,za co jestem im bardzo wdzięczna,bo wnuczka była bardzo szczęśliwa.Animatorki to Nathalie i Yanette oraz Louis animator-super ludzie o wielkich sercach.W dniu Przyjazdu na Dominikanę wnuczka miała urodziny/07.02.2014/- i z tej okazji panie pokojowe ubrały nasz pokój ,łóżko oraz drzwi kolorowymi balonikami,a a pani konsjerż Liberika przyniosła tort urodzinowy dla wnuczki oraz prezent -koszulki z Bahia Principe-miły gest. Wakacje na Dominikanie spędziliśmy pierwszy raz,ale chyba nie ostatni myślę,bo nie użylam tej całej atmosfery karaibskiej przez moje zachorwanie.Ale w sumie jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z wyjazdu jak i z organizatora biura podrózy ITAKA.

Adventure in Samana — a ride to the dock in Cañitas, Miches. Getting on board of the catamaran and cruise to a private dock in Samana, and then a jeep ride to the Limon Ranch. Zip lines — one of the longest routs of the Caribbean Zip Line. Departure by jeep cars from the hotel. Qualified guides will give you OSH instruction, explain all procedures and teach how to zip from one platform to another. The route runs through the mountains, it is 3.2 km long and consists of 16 platforms and 12 lines/rides. The longest ride is 800 meters! Price - approx. 95 USD.
Manatí Park — an amusement park located in Bávaro-Punta Cana, amidst an incredible landscape of wonderful gardens where orchids and tropical plants bloom.
