Spędziłam 2 tyg w tym hotelu. Nie był to mój pierwszy pobyt w Egipcie w 5 gwiazdkowym obiekcie. Hotel oceniam na 4 gwiazdki pod kątem recepcji i ogólnego wystroju, pokoje bardzo duże (uwaga ja brałam rodzinny i mimo, że były drzwi, które oddzielały obie części to były w nich wycięte okna bez szyb (aby był dopływ klimatyzacji) i niestety nie spełniały swojej funkcji. Jedzenie najlepsze jakie jadłam w Egipcie, ogromny wybór i naprawdę smaczne. Baseny czyste, ogród piękny, plaża słaba - połamane parasole i nikt prawie z niej nie korzysta, jeśli ktoś chce skorzystać z uroków rafy, to niestety będzie zawiedziony - bo rafa przy hotelu jest bardzo zniszczona...aquapark bardzo fajny ale uwaga ze zjeżdżalni mogą korzystać dzieci powyżej 8 roku życia, więc nasz 7 letni syn był bardzo zawiedziony.

Pięć * to zdecydowana przesada. Rozumiem,ze jest to egipskie 5* , mimo to byliśmy bardzo rozczarowani główną restauracją, która wyglada jak przyzakładowa stołówka.Brudne podłogi, spękane płytki, brudne obicia krzeseł, obrusy, obmacane kieliszki i niedomyte talerze. Jedzenie słabe, przygotowywane główne dla turystów z Anglii. Pokój wymagał dodatkowego sprzątania. Podłogi pełne piasku i rozmazanych śladów po poprzednich gościach. Szafa brzydko pachniała. Po interwencji pokój był już sprzątany codziennie bez zarzutu. Baseny bardzo fajne , różnorodne. Dla każdego coś sie znajdzie. Jedyny minus basenów to chlor, który wsypywano jest rano, podczas gdy dzieci już są w wodzie .... Obsługa basenowa bardzo miła, panowie dowcipni,towarzyscy i chętni do pomocy. Animacje tylko po angielsku. Ogród bardzo ładny. W restauracji przy plaży wafle do lodów robione na miejscu, pycha. Ogólnie cena do jakości: za drogo.

Plusy: 1. Odczuwalny komfort pobytu w hotelu 5-gwiazdkowym. 2. Teren hotelu rozległy, bardzo zadbany, z pięknymi widokami, ogrodami i kompleksami basenowymi. Mimo sezonu zimowego (koniec stycznia) wszystkie bary były czynne. 3. Wyjątkowa, jak na Egipt, dbałość o czystość w hotelu. Przy wejściu do restauracji znajdowały się pojemniki z żelami do dezynfekcji rąk. Na terenie wielokolorowe kosze na śmieci-segregacja odpadów. Przed dwa tygodnie żadnych rewolucji żołądkowych, a tym bardziej słynnej „zemsty Faraona”. Z rozmów towarzyskich dowiedzieliśmy się, że podobno hotel posiada specjalne filtry wodne. 4. Pokój hotelowy bardzo przestronny, nowocześnie umeblowany i wyposażony. Ponadto w pokoju do dyspozycji czajnik z akcesoriami tj. kubki, szklanki, łyżeczki, kawa, herbata. 5. Woda mineralna butelkowana bez ograniczeń, odbierana w restauracji. 6. Mimo późnego przybycia do hotelu (3 w nocy) profesjonalna i sympatyczna obsługa w recepcji. 7. Piękna plaża. Mimo zimy woda w Morzu Czerwonym ciepła. W trakcie przypływu można dojść na wysokość klatki piersiowej, w trakcie odpływu do kostek. Nie było potrzeby korzystania z obuwia ochronnego. Dla złaknionych pływania w głębokiej wodzie i snurkowania wydzielony basen na końcu 150 metrowego mola. Mnogość ofert odpłatnych sportów wodnych. 8. Bardzo dobra jakość (smak) lokalnych napojów alkoholowych (bez typowego zapachu „nafty”). 9. Aquapark z mnóstwem atrakcji dla dzieci (mały basen i duży z konstrukcjami, obydwa z minizjeżdżalniami. Nasza 5-letnia córka była zachwycona) i dorosłych. Basen z włączaną co kilkanaście minut sztuczną falą- z podgrzewaną wodą. Rewelacja! Ratownicy na każdym kroku-swoich stanowiskach, mostkach itp. Ciągły nadzór nad bezpieczeństwem gości. 10. Świetna restauracja przy plaży, w której można było spożywać posiłki w strojach kąpielowych. Tam również dostępne były pyszne lody serwowane w pucharkach lub ręcznie wypiekanych wafelkach (do dziś wspominamy smak zimnego loda w ciepłym, chrupiącym wafelku). Minusy: 1. Gośćmi hotelowymi w 90% byli Anglicy, Irlandczycy i Szkoci wyraźnie faworyzowani przez obsługę hotelową mimo otrzymywanych napiwków (bakszyszu). 2. Z dużych zjeżdżalni można korzystać mając ukończone 10 lat i minimum 120 cm wzrostu. Dla nas, a przede wszystkim dla naszego 7-letniego syna (127 cm wzrostu) było to dużym rozczarowaniem, gdyż wybieraliśmy hotel ze względu na aquapark. Brak informacji (dla nas najistotniejszej) w opisie hotelu. W ubiegłym roku byliśmy w Hurghadzie i nie było tego problemu.

Obsługa w restauracji, barach bardzo sympatyczna. Komfort przebywania przestawał być miły w przypadku próby przeniesienia np. szklanki soku z restauracji do pokoju lub czegoś innego. Najbardziej nie smacznie poczuliśmy się przy wykwaterowaniu, kiedy pan z recepcji oznajmił, że nie możemy opuścić hotelu do czasu sprawdzenia pokoju. Poczuliśmy się jak potencjalni złodzieje. Wypoczywaliśmy w wielu miejscach i różnych hotelach, ale nigdy nie odczuliśmy żadnej presji i podejrzliwości.

Hotel czasy świetności ma już za sobą. Pokój rodzinny to po prostu jedno pomieszczenie podzielone drzwiami przesuwanymi - absolutne zero intymności więc kompletnie nie nadaje się dla 3 dorosłych. Dodatkowe łóżka to klasyczna dostawka a więc małe prycze jak w hostelu. Łazienkę mieliśmy w stanie dalekim od standardów, do których przywykliśmy w tego rodzaju obiektach - nieustanny smrodek, ciemno, widoczny ząb czasu na płytkach i fugach. Klimatyzacja wytwarzała spory hałas, z pewnością poza wszelkimi normami europejskimi a może i nawet egipskimi. Rano człowiek wstawał z szumem w uszach. WiFi to kolejna tragedia, choć pokrycie jest na terenie całego obiektu (nawet na plaży) to w praktyce okazuje się, że nie da się go używać. Sieć jest niestabilna a opcja płatna niczego nie rozwiązuje tylko dodatkowo frustruje. Jako takie działanie rano przy recepcji. Pierwszy raz się też spotkaliśmy z taką ilością komarów w Egipcie. Na terenie obiektu prawdopodobnie ktoś chciał zaoszczędzić i nie robił regularnych oprysków. W efekcie komary gryzły wszędzie, nawet w hotelowym lobby a rano na stołówce oglądaliśmy nogi i ręce towarzyszy niedoli pokryte mnóstwem czerwonych bąbli. Dodam, że Raid wkładany do kontaktu zakupiony w sklepie nie robi na egipskich komarach żadnego wrażenia.

Polecam ten hotel dla rodzin z dziećmi. Dużo atrakcji trudno się nudzić. Jedyny mankament to brud w restauracji hotelowej. Obsługa nie nadążała zmywać po gościach. Jedzenie doskonałe, różnorodne, nic się nie powtarzało, smaki całej Europy. Hotel nastawiony na angielskich gości. Mimo niedogodności bardzo polecam hotel . Obsługa dwoi się troi by wszystkim dogodzić. Nie są nastawieni na bakszysz. Bardzo nam się podobało.

ogólnie wysoki poziom, co do animacji to marne ( byłem w Tabie w Moovenpicku 3 lata temu i animacje były dla wszystkich ciekawe mimo, że po angielsku, rosyjsku i arabsku; plaża roi się od 'sępów' wciskających co się da ( od masażów po papierosy i chipsy) byliśmy 2 razy przez około 2 godz. i nie dało się odpocząć; a położenie też takie sobie - żeby popływać to trzeba było iść kilkaset metrów w wodzie poniżej kolan a jak już doszedłem do głębszego miejsca, to prąd był tak silny, że sciągał mnie pod pomost który prowadzi w głąb morza. Za to w hotelu jest dożo atrakcji m.in. baseny, zjeżdżalnie, boisko, place zabaw dla dzieci, automaty, siłownia, darmowy (pseudo) internet ;P itp.

Mountain of Moses and St Catherine's monastery (22.00-14.00) — night trip (on foot, part of the road can be covered on camels - approx. 20 USD) to Mount Sinai - 2285 m a.s.l, where Moses received the tablets with the Ten Commandments from God. Welcoming a unique sunrise and climbing down the mountain hill to St. Catherine's monastery, which was erected in about 530 B.C. It belongs to the Greek Orthodox church and has valuable collections: Bizantine mosaics from the 6th century, a collection of icons of St John the Baptist and the Virgin Mary. Dahab Safari — a wonderful expedition to the heart of Sinai. Quad ride through the desert and a visit to the Bedouin village, a short stop for photos. Then return to the main road. Short break in café. After rest, drive to the Blue Hole National Park and free time for snorkelling on the shore of the Blue Hole. Lunch in a restaurant. Then a drive to the Wadi Guney valley at the southern gate of the city of Dahab. Wadi Guney is a beautiful valley located among mountains, where you can see a wonderful, small oasis. Relaxation and rest on one of the wild beaches in Dahab, ride on camels, snorkelling. On the way back, time for shopping in Dahab. Return to hotel.
