1. DAY. MONASTIR Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to MONASTIR. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, dinner, overnight.
2. DAY. CARTHAGE - SIDI BOU SAÏD - TUNIS (route: approx. 390 km) Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to CARTAGINA - now a district of Tunis, where the presidential residence and villa estates of the Tunisian elite are located, and in antiquity - the center of first the Phoenician empire and then the Roman province in North Africa. A visit to the Punic harbors that made Carthage a powerhouse in antiquity. Then, explore Tophet, an ancient sacred area dedicated to the deities Tanit and Baal. Visiting the remains of the huge complex of the Antoninas, dating back to the 2nd-3rd century AD Lunch. Transfer to the neighboring village of SIDI BOU SAÏD, shimmering with white and blue, a walk through the streets of a town beautifully located on the Tunisian Bay. Free time. Transfer to TUNIS, to the Bardo Museum, one of the largest archaeological museums in the world, housing magnificent collections of prehistoric, ancient and Islamic art, and one of the most important unique mosaics in the world. Transfer to Tabarka, accommodation, dinner and overnight.
3. DAY. CONSTANTINE (route: approx. 260 km) Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to CONSTANTINE - a city in Algeria, with an unusual location and stunning architecture, founded by the Phoenicians in the 6th century BCE Five bridges over chasms lead to the city. Visiting the Emir Abdelkader mosque towering over the city, combining all styles of Muslim architecture. Then a stroll through the medina with its many stalls. Lunch. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, dinner and overnight.
4. DAY. JAMILA - CONSTANTINE (route: approx. 250 km) Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to the archaeological site of JAMILA, where there are some of the best-preserved remains from the reign of the Romans. Visiting the ruins of the forum, the amphitheater, the triumphal arch, temples and former residential houses where numerous mosaics are preserved. Lunch. Return to CONSTANTINE, city tour: the palace of Ahmed Bey, the interiors of which are full of marble and cedar wood, the National Museum, where there are exhibits related to the Numidian, Phoenician and Roman past of the city, and a monument commemorating the victims fighting for independence during World War I - this place it is also a great vantage point due to its location on a cliff with a height of 652 m. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, dinner and overnight.
5. DAY. BISKIRA (route: approx. 230 km) Breakfast. Check out, transfer to BISKIRA, a city called the gate of the desert. Biskira is an oasis full of palm groves and numerous archaeological sites. Accommodation, lunch, dinner and overnight.
DAY 6. TEBESSA - SUBAJTILA (route: approx. 430 km) Breakfast. Check out, transfer to TEBESSA, which is an important communication junction. Visiting a city with preserved buildings from the Roman and Byzantine times, such as the Arch of Caracalla, the Temple of Minerva and the city walls from the Byzantine era. Lunch. Transfer to SUBAJTILA, where there are, among others ruins of basilicas from the 5th and 6th centuries, one of the largest Christian complexes in Africa. Accommodation, dinner and overnight.
7th DAY. SUBAJTILA - KAIROUAN (route: approx. 175 km) Breakfast. Check out. Visiting the archaeological site of SUBAJTILA. Transfer to Kairouan - the fourth holy city of Islam. Founded in 670, it was a strategic point in the Arab conquest of North Africa and a great center of Muslim science and art. The rich architectural heritage of the city is under the patronage of UNESCO. A visit to the Grand Mosque - the oldest in North Africa, founded in 670, with a minaret resembling the tower of a Gothic castle. Then a visit to the beautifully decorated Sidi Sahbi mausoleum, also known as the Barber's Mosque, with colorful mosaics and openwork stucco. Continue to admire the restored Aghlabid Basins, dating from the 9th century. In the city of Kairouan, the filming of the film "Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark" was filmed. Lunch. Free time in the medina, where you can buy souvenirs at a traditional Arab market. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, dinner. Overnight.
