The modern and minimalist Shipyard hotel combines the tranquility of nature with the strength of modern construction. Opened only in 2021, it resembles a "steamship-shaped shipyard". The designer interiors and comfortable rooms, decorated with wood and grays, referring to the atmosphere of the old industrial district, delight here. The hotel has a great restaurant and the Oficina bar, where you can eat tasty and drink delicious wine. For a moment of rest on a sunbed, it is best to go to the roof terrace with a small pool and hydro massage. Crater Lake Sete Cidades – the road to the lake runs through a very scenic village, rises up to the main crater of an extinct volcano, in some places reaches the height of 580 m above sea level. From the summit of the crater with a circumference of 12 km, you can admire two lakes: blue, reflecting the sky and light green, which is influenced by the colour of the vegetation that covers the walls of the crater. On the way back, a stopover at the famous Antonio Borges Botanical Gardens, where there are European and tropical specimens of trees.
