Przede wszystkim to nie są cztery gwiazdki, tak jak widnieje w ofercie Itaki. Sam hotel ok, części wspólne ładne, pokojom natomiast przydałby się, delikatnie mówiąc, lifting. Osoby bardzo wymagające nie będą usatysfakcjonowane. Mieliśmy "apartament" dwupokojowy - sypialnia i pokój dzienny z kanapą, fotelem i aneksem kuchennym. Aneks kuchenny jest tak naprawdę atrapą. Na wyposażeniu jest tylko czajnik, 2 filiżanki i 2 szklanki. Nie ma garnków, talerzy, sztućców, nawet gąbki do umycia naczyń czy jakiejkolwiek ściereczki. Za to kawa i herbata uzupełniane codziennie. Łazienka z całego apartamentu była chyba najnowsza, ale jej też przydałby się mały remont. Sprzątanie pobieżne - papier toaletowy, ręczniki, kosmetyki, bez odkurzania, więc po paru dniach było naprawdę dużo kurzu. Basen niezbyt duży i trochę za płytki do pływania, ale odpoczynek po nartach zapewnia. Sauny ok. Obsługa bardzo miła, zarówno w recepcji, restauracji, jak i panie sprzątające. Na plus - wypożyczalnia nart na miejscu, mniejsza niż te na mieście, ale właściciel naprawdę zaangażowany. Na życzenie w trakcie pobytu gratis naostrzy czy nasmaruje narty. W wypożyczalni przechowujemy też sprzęt przez noc, buty są suszone. Wyżywienie - bez szału, ale spory wybór zarówno na śniadanie jak i na kolację. Wieczorem codziennie jakiś kurczak, wieprzowina , wołowina/cielęcina, ryba, dania bezmięsne. Dużo warzyw. Codziennie coś z kuchni lokalnej - gołąbki w liściach winogron, kaczamak, kebabcze, bułgarska musaka. Zawsze jest ser sirene i pasta lutenica. Napoje do kolacji dodatkowo płatne. Czy polecam? Ja zimą jeżdżę na narty, a nie do hotelu. Moim zdaniem, w tym roku, kiedy właściwie nie ma gdzie jeździć na nartach, zdecydowanie warto jechać do Banska. Ośrodek jest większy niż jakikolwiek w Polsce, Czechach czy na Słowacji, choć oczywiście do najlepszych alpejskich mu daleko. Niemniej góry Piryn są piękne, samo miasteczko też niczego sobie. Kuchnia smaczna, ludzie mili, ceny niższe niż w Alpach. Trasy przeważnie czerwone, dość wymagające, bo oszczędnie ratrakowane :) Całkiem długie i urozmaicone.
