Caldera de Taburiente National Park — the hike begins at an altitude of 1000 m a.s.l. and leads through pine forests to the inside of a giant crater with a diameter of approx. 9 km. On to the River Taburiente - the only stream of the Canary Islands, where the water flows all year round. Time to relax. Descent via El Reventon, next to Rock Idafe, to Dos Aguas (Two Waters), where the streams flowing from all the springs of Caldera converge. Then the trail leads through Barranco de las Angustias (The Gorge of Terrors), up to the exit of the national park.
