The land of smiles, as inhabitants describe it, is a place where history is harmoniously combined with the present, and tradition is in harmony with modernity. In the cities the old Buddhist monasteries stand next to modern skyscrapers, modern lifestyle, loud music, hustle and bustle, and bright colours are mixed with traditional rituals, spirituality, peace of mind, slowness and meditation.

Krabi is one of the most beautiful provinces of Thailand, located on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, approx. 180 km east of the island of Phuket and 800 km south of Bangkok. It is here that you will find the picture- and film-famous white beaches surrounded by turquoise water – Railay, Ao Nang and Noppharat Thara.

The breathtaking nature, hot springs, perfect conditions for relaxation, as well as a variety of possibilities for spending time actively make this resort one of the most sought after tourist destinations in the world. Diving among the coral reef, rock climbing, kayaking expeditions into the inaccessible areas of the Islands, jungle trekking or an elephant ride will no doubt provide an unforgettable experience. Krabi is not only the name of the region, but also the town, which flagship is the towering twin rocks Khao Khanap Nam Nam, between which is a meandering river. One of the biggest attractions of the city is Tiger's Cave, currently a Buddhist temple. For amateurs of fishing Krabi Fishing Park will be a great attraction, enthusiasts of leisure activities will definitely be interested in Ao Nang - an ideal starting point for divers, kayakers and trekkers. The town is full of bars, restaurants and enjoys a terrifically developed hotel base. Approx. 2 km from Ao Nang is the beach Noppharat Thara - a wide line of sand and shallower water makes this place perfect for holidays with children. For amateurs of rock climbing, the ideal spot will be Railay, famous for its excellent conditions for practicing this sport and many climbing schools. The beaches here are considered one of the miracles of the world, surrounded by impressive rocks and tropical forest. Luxurious hotels are composed into this unearthly landscape. It is just 8 km from here by boat to the beautiful islets, among which is the one bearing the graceful name, Chicken Island. The eastern part of Railay is also known for its numerous night-time outdoor parties. A great place to dive is the complex of Ko Phi Phi and Ko Lanta islands. The coral reef and shallow waters make it an ideal place for snorkeling. For enthusiasts of this sport the coral garden Hin Klang will be a real treat, which is located halfway between Ko Phi Phi and Bamboo Island. Ko Phi Phi is also one of the most entertaining Thai Islands, which will certainly please fans of late-night follies. Ko Lanta is popular, but less crowded. One of the local attractions are the caves: Tham Mai Kaelo and Tiger's Cave, recommended especially to those seeking adventures. It is worth visiting Moo Ko Lanta National Park to encounter the tropical nature, numerous birds, butterflies and monkeys. After an eventful day you can have a Thai massage or explore the local culinary arts in nearby cooking schools.
