See offer

The smallest country in continental Africa captivates with its beautiful golden beaches, the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean, lush green forests and wildlife. The Gambia is also small fishing villages, nature reserves and monuments included on the UNESCO list.

The Gambia took its name from the river, which is the most important part of the country's landscape. The strip of land surrounded by Senegalese territory, bordered by the Atlantic in the west, tempts tourists with exoticness - beautiful sandy beaches, forests and nature reserves, which are rich in very rare species of fauna and flora. The capital - Banjul - is a busy port, the Albert Market and colonial buildings. The famous Kunta Kinteh Island is inextricably linked with the colonial times and slave trade history, named after the fictional hero of the book and the series "Roots." People are friendly and very hospitable. We can buy fresh fruit at the beach, sold by the so-called fruit ladies, and freshly squeezed fruit juice from the juice men. It is worth remembering that each seller has their area here, and the person serving us first will do so until the end of our stay in the Gambia. This tiny African country will charm every visitor with its simplicity and unique atmosphere.
