2. DAY. MCCHETA - TBILISI
Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to MCCHETA, the former capital and one of the most beautiful cities in Georgia. Sightseeing: Jvari Monastery - a pearl of Georgian architecture, located on the top of a hill with a magnificent panorama of the city, the Cathedral of Sveti Tskhoveli (Tree of Life), considered the most important Georgian monument. Both sites are under the patronage of UNESCO. Transfer to TBILISI, one of the oldest cities in the world. Sightseeing: the temple of Our Lady of Metekh, the Great Synagogue, the Cathedral of Sioni with the cross of St. Nino - the most important relic of the Georgian church. A stroll through the streets of the old town: the Narikala fortress, tsarist pans - sulfur baths. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, dinner, overnight.

3. DAY. LAKE SEWAN - YERIVAN
Breakfast. Check out. Crossing the Georgian - Armenian border. Transfer to the area of LAKE SEWAN - the largest lake in Armenia and the Caucasus, located at an altitude of 1916 m a.s.l. Transfer to Yerevan, the capital and largest city of Armenia. When the aura is favorable, you can perfectly see the Ararat massif (5165 m above sea level) - the sacred Armenian mountain. 4. DAY. ECZMIADZYN - ZWARTNOC - MONASTERY CHOR WIRAP - MONASTERY NORAWANK
Breakfast. Transfer to ECZMIADZYN, known as the Vatican of the Armenians. Sightseeing: the cathedral - the oldest Christian temple in Armenia, built by Gregory the Illuminator after Armenia adopted Christianity; the ruins of the cathedral in ZWARTNOC from the 7th century. The cathedral complex in Etchmiadzin and the ruins of the cathedral in Zwartnoc have been entered on the UNESCO list. Transfer to the CHOR WIRAP MONASTERY. Visiting one of the biggest tourist attractions in Armenia - the monastery where St. Grzegorz the Illuminator. Apparently, this is where you have the best view of Mount Ararat. Transfer to the 13th century NORAWANK MONASTERY, built on a rock ledge, by the famous architect Momik Vardapet. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.

5. DAY. GARNI - GEGHARD MONASTER
Breakfast. Transfer to the vicinity of GARNI, located in the Kotajk province. From the complex of buildings including the fortress, palace and temple, only the latter has survived to this day. There is a magnificent view of the area, described by Ryszard Kapuściński in "Imperium". Then, a visit to the GEGHARD MONASTERY, partially carved in the rock, a place sacred to the Armenians and the destination of numerous pilgrimages. The monastery has been entered on the UNESCO list. A visit to a cognac factory, learning about the production process of this delicious drink and tasting. Return to the hotel, overnight.

DAY 6. UPLISCYCHE - GELATI MONASTERY - KUTAISI
Breakfast. Check out. Crossing the Armenian-Georgian border. Transfer to UPLISCYCHE, visiting the largest rock city in Georgia, the origins of which date back to ancient times. Transfer to the famous GELATI MONASTER, entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Transfer to the hotel in the vicinity of KUTAISI, accommodation, dinner, overnight.

7th DAY. KUTAISI - BATUMI
Breakfast. Free time for independent sightseeing or optional (for an extra charge on site): Transfer to BATUMI. Wycieczka bardzo ciekawa i udana. Mnóstwo historii, zabytków, widoki zapierające dech w piersiach. Była to moja pierwsza wycieczka objazdowa i z uwagi na trochę problemów zdrowotnych, obawiałam (...) expand
Wycieczka bardzo ciekawa i udana. Mnóstwo historii, zabytków, widoki zapierające dech w piersiach. Była to moja pierwsza wycieczka objazdowa i z uwagi na trochę problemów zdrowotnych, obawiałam się, czy nie będzie zbyt wyczerpująca. Okazało się, że moje obawy były niepotrzebne. Tempo było dostosowane do grupy. Dzięki wspaniałym pilotom (szczególnie Pan Gagik w Armenii) nie tylko zrealizowaliśmy program, ale mieliśmy dodatkowe atrakcje. Również ogromny wkład w jakość wycieczki wniósł kierowca autokaru, Pan Kacha. Przemiły, przesympatyczny, niezwykle pomocny, wirtuoz kierownicy. Rodzinie i wszystkim znajomym zdecydowanie polecam tę wycieczkę. Kierunek wycieczki i jej organizacja tak mi się spodobały, że jeszcze wrócę do Gruzji.

Wycieczki dostępne na miejscu

Batumi by night — a few hours trip around Batumi running through the most important places in the city. The program includes: old and new part of Batumi with famous Piazza Square, Europe Square, Neptune Square and St. Nicholas Church. The pride of Batumi's inhabitants is the seaside park, stretching along the whole north-western part of the city. A stroll along the seaside boulevard, where you can see the famous “Ali and Nino” monument, which refers to the novel by Kurban Said, telling the story of unhappy love. A visit to the harbour and a show of “dancing fountains”. Finally, a dinner and tasting of Adjarian khachapuri, a traditional cheese dough in the shape of a boat - price/person from approx. PLN 162

Folklore and nature — visiting the most beautiful parts of Georgia. The program includes the “Borjgalo” Ethnographic Museum which was established to commemorate the work of Kemal Turmanidze. The museum houses several hundred of his works as well as exhibits of Georgian cultural heritage. All exhibits are handmade. A woodworking demonstration during the visit. Then drive to the Makhuntseti Waterfall with crystal clear water that falls from a high cliff into a rushing mountain stream. Time for a swim at the waterfall. Then, 12th century Queen Tamara Bridge, a masterpiece of medieval architecture that is still used by the inhabitants, connecting the banks of the Acharistsqali River. Kutaisi Tour — trip to the largest cave in Georgia - Prometheus Cave, full of magnificent stalagmites, stalactites, petrified waterfalls, underground rivers and lakes. This is a unique opportunity to feel the atmosphere of the underground world (the temperature in the cave is 14°C). Afterwards, a visit to the UNESCO-listed Gelati Monastery, one of the main cultural centres in medieval Georgia. Next, Motsameta Monastery and Bagrati Cathedral - the symbol of the united Georgian nation - price/person from approx. PLN 300

Nature Legends — visit to Sataplia Nature Reserve, where you can see 120 million year old dinosaur traces as well as the cave with numerous stalactites and stalagmites. Traditional Georgian dinner. Then the Martvili Canyon, full of green and blue colours. Quiet water is ideal for canoeing and swimming, steep cliffs for climbing, and spectacular waterfalls and caves are perfect places for explorers. Boat rental available (for an additional fee on site). On the way there is also the Martvili Monastery - an ancient Georgian monastery, built in the 7th century, one of the most important spiritual centers of Georgia - price/person from approx. PLN 323

Mtirala National Park — located at an altitude of 1381 m above sea level, it is the most rainy territory in Georgia, hence its name meaning “crying”. High humidity, frequent rains and fog make the park's landscape unique. On the route there is a beautiful ravine of Chakvistskali river, a lake with trouts and a 15-metre high ivy covered waterfall. Route: approx. 7 km. Remarks: recommended sporting outfit; during the trip, possibility of swimming in the lake, optionally (for an additional fee on site): flying fox rides - price/person from approx. PLN 208
