Przewodnik Damian - to los wygrany na loterii! Opowiadał tak ciekawie, przybliżając nam historię tego niezwykłego kraju, Swoje opowieści ubarwiał anegdotami i ciekawastkami z życia ludzi i elfów. Miła niespodzianką była kolacja w prezencie od Itaki. To już moja kolejna podróż z Itaką i na pewno nie ostatnia.

Islandia to piękny kraj.Zwiedzałem go po raz drugi.Mieliśmy z żoną wyjątkowe szczęście.Pan Damian to pilot skarb.Drugiego takiego ze świecą szukać.No i pogoda.Trafiliśmy w dziesiątkę.W niektóre dni pi 24 stopnie i pełne słońce,zwiedzaliśmy Islandię w krótkich spodenkach i t-shirtach.Program bardzo dobry zrealizowany w całości.Wszystko na wysokim poziomie.Jedyna rzecz-wieloryby.ODRADZAM.Wyrzucone pieniądze.4 godziny pływania odkrytym stateczkiem,bez toalety,zmarzliśmy,a wielorybów nie było.Zdarzyło mi się to po raz drugi.Gdzieś w oddali zamajaczył jakiś grzbiet małego ssaka i to wszystko.Stracone 80 Euro.Ale całą resztą super.

Pilot wycieczki, Pan Damian to człowiek z pasją, pięknie nam opowiadał o Islandii, posiada dużą wiedzę o tym kraju, bardzo pomocny, sympatyczny, grzeczny. Polecamy wszystkim ten wyjazd. Islandia jest piękna.

Na tę wyprawę czekałam kilka lat, aż w końcu zapadła decyzja - jedziemy. Spodziewaliśmy się spektakularnych widoków, zmiennej pogody. Nie rozczarowaliśmy się. Pogoda wymaga ubrania na cebulkę (...)
Na tę wyprawę czekałam kilka lat, aż w końcu zapadła decyzja - jedziemy. Spodziewaliśmy się spektakularnych widoków, zmiennej pogody. Nie rozczarowaliśmy się. Pogoda wymaga ubrania na cebulkę oraz posiadania naprawdę dobrej kurtki/płaszcza przeciwdeszczowego. Przydadzą się również ochraniacze na spodnie, zwłaszcza pod wodospad oraz na wyprawę amfibią jeśli pada deszcz. Hotele: oprócz Reykjaviku gdzie pokoik jest mikroskopijny są zupełnie niezłe. Śniadania - nikt nie wyjdzie głodny, w niektórych hotelach wręcz super. Dobrze, że zaraz po przyjeździe spędza się 2 noce w Reykjaviku, daje to możliwość odpoczynku po podróży. We wszystkich hotelach oprósz Reykjaviku czajniki oraz kawa/ herbata. Prawie wszystkie maja suszarki do włosów w pokojach. Hotele wygodne, czyste o dobrym położeniu. Udało się nam, pogoda pozwoliła, zrealizować cały program. Objeżdżamy Islandię główna drogą, jedynka , od której odbijamy do poszczególnych atrakcji. Program dobrze ułożony, oprócz ostatniego dnia, kiedy jest do pokonania znaczna odległość, do tego wizyta w Błękitnej Lagunie a wieczorem wyjazd. Nasz lot powrotny opóźniony był 4 godziny, więc podróż była bardzo męcząca. Wycieczki fakultatywne, wzięliśmy pływanie wśród lodowców. Było fantastycznie.… tylko ten ulewny deszcz.…Na te wycieczkę zwłaszczą jeśli pada deszcz weź ze sobą do autokaru spodnie na zmianę i buty. Inaczej w mokrych ciuchach możesz siedzieć w autokarze. Nasi współwycieczkowicze byli bardzo zadowoleni z obserwacji wielorybów, kilka się pokazało. widzi się grzbiety i ogony. Błękitna Laguna, moczycie się w super mineralnej wodzie o temp. 42C . Jeśli nie korzystasz z wycieczek fakultatywnych musisz zająć się sobą, ponieważ jedzie cała grupa. Alternatywa dla wielorybów jest wycieczka w góry, w przypadku Laguny możesz pospacerować wokół lub/i posiedzieć w kawiarni. Ceny na Islandii przyprawiają o lekki zawrót głowy. Jeśli nie chcesz wykosztować się na jedziecie możesz wziąć z PL kabanosy, zupki etc. Pilot Damian- bardzo fajnie opowiada, historia na wesoło, dużo anegdot. Z organizacyjnego punktu wodzenia super. Co zrobiliśmy dobrze przygotowując się: dużo ciepłych rzeczy, dobre buty trekkingowe, wodoodporne, przekąski na drogę, butelki na wodę - woda kranówka jest wspaniała, spodnie na zmianę. Co zrobiliśmy źle: letnie rzeczy, koszulki, zupełnie nieprzydatne ( wyjazd połowa czerwca), generalnie za dużo rzeczy. Walizki wyjmujesz i wkładasz do autokaru codziennie.…zmiany hoteli. Im lżej tym wygodniej.

Na Islandii nabiera się pokory w stosunku do natury oraz szacunku dla ludzi, którzy tam żyją. Białe noce na wyspie- niesamowite przeżycie! Bardzo profesjonalna p. Joanna, która starała się nam pokazać wszystko, co tylko można było zobaczyć, poczuć. Gratulacje dla Biura, że ma taką pilotkę!

Proponuję uzupełnić nazwę wycieczki słowem wiatr lub huragan. Islandia , ziemia ognia, lodu i wiatrów. Huragan i śnieżyca nie pozwolili nam przejechać całej zaplanowanej trasy. Ale bezpieczeństwo przede wszystkim. A przewodniczka Pani Joanna miała stały kontakt z biurem i firmą transportową, na bieżąco informowała nas o zmianach . reagowała na potrzeby grupy. była kompetentna, dbała o bezpieczeństwo, o możliwe zamiany.
