Hotel ok choć przydałoby się odnowić pokoje i łazienki. Obsługa miła i uczynna. Zabrakło alkoholu w Nowy Rok bar powiedziano ze bedzie otwarty do drugiej a o 12.30 juz zamknęli. Plaza ładna. Brakowało ręczników plażowych jak ktoś chodził później niż z samego rana. Ręczniki łazienkowe przydało by się wymienic bo już są mocno zużyte , stare żółte i brzydko pachną. Jedzenie dobre i obsługa bardzo miła. Klimatyzacja w pokoju bardzo fajnie ustułowana bardzo dob4ze się stało przy niej bo nie było za zimno - tylko fajnie delikatnie chłodziła.

Jambo Jambo , Hotel w doskonałym miejscu. Miałem okazję w przetestowaniu pokoi z widokiem na baseny i ocean. Komfort jak to w Kenii - mało w pokoju, tylko na sen, reszta dnia i wieczoru w terenie. Plaża, leżaki, basen, restauracja, bar. Wszystko to, co Tygrysy lubią najbardziej. Polecam , pomimo lekkiego deszczu który nie wzbudzał nawet małego popłochu, wypoczynek godny barrrrrdzo długiego lotu z przerwą na stacji paliw. Obsługa miła i pomocna w nawet najtrudniejszych sytuacjach egzystencji człowieka w potrzebach różnych. Kokosy z dostawą dl leżaka, inne oranżady także. Menu bardzo różne - kuchnia miejscowa, włoska, indyjska, amerykana, każdy coś znajdzie dla siebie. Hotel połączony z innym tej samej sieci gdzie można korzystać z pełnej infrastruktury. Jedna Uwaga - małpki - to po prostu "kradziejki" pojawiają się z nie wiadomo skąd jeśli usłyszą szelest torebek foliowych lub aluminiowych. Już wiem, że tam niebawem wrócę :)

Z opisu hotelu na stronie Itaki spodziewałam się przede wszystkim lepszego wyżywienia. Przy tym standardzie hotelu powinno być bardziej urozmaicone. Tragedii nie było ale to nie to czego się spodziewałam - zwłaszcza, że byłam już w Kenii. Do tej pory opisy hotelu na stronie Itaki odpowiadały temu co zastaliśmy na miejscu - tym razem nie. Hotel skalda się z trzech części - mam wrażenie że opis na stronie dotyczy innej części hotelu niż ta w której byliśmy zakwaterowani.

Hotel położony na rozległym terenie ,dużo zieleni,palm przy których należy uważać na spadające kokosy.Teren hotelu zadbany dodatkową atrakcją są małpki .Pokoje duże ładne jedynym minusem jest to że nieraz obsługa sprzątająca zabiera ręczniki a czystych nie zostawi i trzeba się upominać ,ale pomimo to są bardzo mili.Co do wyżywienia to nie jest żle ale nie ma wielkiego wyboru a jak się wyjeżdża na wycieczki rano to nie ma co zjeść(tylko chleb ,masło i dżem).Plaża czysta zadbana ,atrakcją są dalekie odpływy gdzie można daleko spacerować i zobaczyć dużo jeżowców, rybek kolorowych i piękną roślinność.Polecamy wyjazd na safari jest to niezapomniane przeżycie,piękne krajobrazy sawanny i dużo zwierzyny. Przelot na tak dalekiej trasie uciążliwy samolot ciasny bez posiłków i z międzylądowaniem ( 40 minut siedzenia w samolocie).Ogólnie to z wczasów jesteśmy zadowoleni.

Pokój oceniam na 3 z powodu na łazienkę. Prysznic to malutenka pseudo kabina z firanką starą i brudną zamiast drzwi. Natrysk zamontowany na ścianie bardzo wysoko a strunien wody tak słaby, że kobieta z dłuższymi włosami praktycznie nie ma szans ich umyć. Pokój ogólnie miał stare meble, natomiast to w niczym absolutnie nie przeszkadza, bo nie to się liczy na wakacjach. Materac wygodny i za to ogromny plus. Animacje oceniam na 4 z powodu tego, iz hotelowa animacja to ocena 2/3 natomiast gościa zapraszani z zewnątrz np Masai występy oceniam na 6. Na dwa tygodnie było kilka gości z zewnątrz i to było coś niesamowitego, wow !!! Hotelowa animacja była bardzo ospała i leniwa. Ich pokazy polegały zawsze na tym samym - taniec do muzyki, która leciałą z głośników, nawet nie śpiewali sami, nie robili ani razy skeczu, pokazu ognia, coś śmiesznego....zawsze tylko roznego rodzaju muzyka i pokaz ich tanców. Widać było, ze nudziło to gości, bo z dnia na dzień coraz mniej ludzi brało udział. Probowali organizować pokaz Miss - ale nikt sie nie zgłosił i animacji nie było. W trakcie dnia, oprócz aqua aerobiku nie było praktycznie animacji na plaży ani w hotelu. Dla dzieci miało być mini disco o 20:00 ale to było tylko puszczenie plyty na głośnik i żadnego zajmowanie i bawienia się z dziecmi. Przykre troche, ale na całę szczeście to dla nas nie było takie ważne, ale wiem, ze goście byli zawiedzeni. Komfort podrózy - samolot Enter jest bardzo malutki, mało miejsca na nogi i to nie jest samolot na podróz 11 godzinną ! Miedzylądowanie na Cyprze - przez godzine nie wolno było nam sie ruszac w samolocie ani korzystac z WC. Wstać i rozprostować nogi było potępiane przez personel, ktory z WAW do Cypru był miły, ale załoga z Cypru do Mombasy to ludzie, którzy za kare pracowali i chcieli sie jak najszybciej uwolnic z tej pracy. Byli poddenerwoani i nie chętnie obslugiwali ludzi. W drodze powrotnej radzilabym aby w samolocie, tak jak w dreamlinerze, byly koce dostepne. Jesli chodzi o hotel i personel ogolnie to BAJKA. Kuchnia byla najlepsza jaka jedlismy, kucharz bardzo sympatyczny, widac go bylo codziennie, starannie pilnowal lokalu z usmiechem patrzyl czy ludziom jego jedzenie smakuje. Jest kucharzem na medal i to tez sie dowiedzial od nas! Zawsze smacznie, roznorodnie, po afrykansku wiekszosc dan, za co ogromne pochwaly. Zrobili nam wieczor niespodzianka - kolacje w plenerze, cos niesamowitego!

To mój 3 pobyt w Kenii , więc mam już do czego porównać. Jeżeli chodzi o położenie i infrastrukturę to jest super. To miejsce zarówno dla tych którzy chcą leniuchować jak r wnież dla tych którzy lubią spoty wodne i nie tylko. Mnóstwo atrakcji dla kadego. Niestety rozczarowanie przychodzi w momencie pójścia na stołówkę ,bo restauracją trudno to nazwać. Połowa dań zrobiona z ziemniaków , mało owoców a także mięsa ( o jego smaku nie wspominając), pobieżne sprzątanie stołów i brudne obrusy. Plusem i to dużym jest to, że wszystkie napoje podawane są w szkle, piwo całkiem smaczne nalewane z butelki do małych kufli. Jednak jeśli już się przyzwyczaimy, że to nie Europa tylko Afryka to pobyt będzie udany. W każdym hotelu znajdzie się jakiś słaby punkt, więc ten hotel mogę polecić i życzyć udanych, beztroskich wakacji. Wakacje udane, biuro Itaka super , jak zwykle nie zawodne.

Sejf nie jest częścią integralną pokoju i w przypadku zamówienia go w niedzielę niestety nie ma możliwości go dostać. Ponieważ wyjazdy na dwudniowe safari są w poniedziałek, to blokuje to możliwość zostawienia cennych rzeczy i paszportów w hotelu! Podobnie w przypadku awarii prądu czas oczekiwania jest zdecydowanie zbyt długi. W naszym przypadku po południu przestała działać cała elektryczność włącznie z klimatyzacją i niestety tak zostało do około godziny 15 następnego dnia, przy czym ekipa pojawiła się po godzinie 14! Ogólnie hotel jak na Kenijskie standardy wypada całkiem dobrze. Woda jest donoszona do pokoi wbrew informacji od rezydentki. Część Village i Palm są bardzo ciche i spokoje, Paradise typowo nastawione na animacje. Szkoda, że informacja przy zakupie wycieczki online nie obejmuje tego w jakiej części się znajdziemy.
