Hotel należy ocenić na 4. Ładne położenie przy piaszczystej plaży, na terenie obiektu zadbany ogród, smaczne jedzenie choć mało zróżnicowane (oceniam tylko restaurację, która była w pakiecie). Niestety, na całość oceny wpływa lekkie zaniedbanie stanu technicznego hotelu oraz konieczność każdorazowego podpisywania rachunków za usługi, które znajdują się w wykupionym pakiecie. Stan techniczny "decku" dookoła baru oraz basenu był tragiczny - wystające gwoździe, połamane deski, które potrafiły wystrzelić do góry po nadepnięciu. W trakcie naszego pobytu dokonywane były jego drobne naprawy, ale spójrzmy prawdzie w oczy - wymaga on całkowitej wymiany ze względów bezpieczeństwa. Dodatkowo, brak zadbania było widać w pokojach - np. urwana klamka w kabinie prysznicowej, urwane zaczepy od firanki oraz uszkodzona kanapa. Najbardziej uciążliwym jednak była konieczność ciągłego podpisywania rachunków - wbrew informacjom Itaki w hotelu nie obowiązują opaski AI, a na wszystkie napoje i usługi wystawiane są rachunki, które trzeba podpisać. Nie oznacza to dodatkowych kosztów, ale czasem trzeba było czekać bardzo długo na drinka, ponieważ biurokracja znacząco spowalniała obsługę. Przykładowo, idąc na lunch po wzięciu jedzenia przychodzi do stołu kelner i pyta o numer pokoju oraz czy chcielibyśmy się czegoś napić. Prosimy o butelkę wody, którą przynoszą bardzo szybko. Natomiast po przyniesieniu wody kelner najpierw musi iść do kantorka przekazać zamówienie do systemu, potem musi iść do baru po paragon i dać go nam do podpisu. Często kończyło się to na pogoni kelnerów za nami, bo dawno zdążyliśmy zjeść zanim machina biurokracji została przemielona. Warto też zaznaczyć, że jedynie 1 restauracja i 1 bar jest w pakiecie. Cała reszta oferowanych rzeczy jedzeniowo-drinkowych jest dodatkowo płatna, a ceny hotelowe mocno w tym zakresie wygórowane.

Hotel Solana Beach to piękny hotel położony przy niewielkiej ale jakże urokliwej plaży. Pokoje czyste, sprzątane i zadbane, hotel zadbany. Odnośnie wyżywienia, to hotel serwuje bardzo dobre śniadania, natomiast co do obiadów lub obiadokolacji z tym bywa różnie. Największym minusem jest przy braku pakietu all inclusive płatność za wodę- która w takich temperaturach powinna być darmowa i pod dostatkiem. Ogólnie bardzo polecamy hotel gdyż mimo tych kilku niedogodności, pozwala on przeżyć jedne z piękniejszych wakacji w zyciu.

THE TOURIST NORTH - the tour starts with sightseeing in the capital of Mauritius and its only port, with surprising diversity, a visit to the local bazaar with exotic fruits and vegetables. A visit to Chinatown, which fascinates with its smells, atmosphere and shops. After lunch, drive north to the Pamplemouses garden, one of the most famous gardens in the world. Then drive to Grand Baie - a paradise for enthusiasts of shopping and entertainment, here islanders spend their nights in famous bars and restaurants. Day trip Price – approx. 60 EUR (includes entrance tickets).
THE AUTHENTIC SOUTH - a trip to the interior of the island full of beautiful views and to Trou Aux Cerfs - a dormant volcano. Exploring Floreal - the suburban town of Curepipe, one of the most important cities of the island in terms of population and size of trade, here you can encounter a large variety of local products. Then drive to one of the Hindu temples. Every year during the Maha Shiveratee festival, it is visited by pilgrims from all over the island. Day trip Price – approx. 65 EUR.
CASELA - nature and entertainment park, 14-ha garden, where rare species of birds and mammals live. Here you can see lions, cheetahs, and also you can try trekking on the so-called Nepalese bridges or hanging rope bridges. Day trip Price – approx. 148 EUR (rope bridges additionally payable).
WEST COAST, CATAMARAN CRUISE - a catamaran cruise lasting a few hours along the West coast. Time to relax, swimming, sunbathing and rest. Price – approx. 90 EUR (includes lunch).
