Breakfast. Visiting MUSKAT. Transfer to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, distinguished by its extraordinary architecture. The building maintains a perfect balance between aesthetics, culture and a deeply rooted Islamic tradition. Sightseeing: the old part of the city surrounded by mountains and guarded by the 16th century forts of Jalali and Mirani, Al Alam Palace - the residence of Sultan Qaboos. A visit to the Bait Al Zubair museum - an opportunity to learn about the heritage of Muscat, incl. traditional Oman weapons, jewelry, costumes and home tools. In the afternoon, walk along the Muttrah Promenade, which stretches for about 3 km along the coast, overlooking the old Muscat, including the Muttrah Mosque, whose hallmark is the blue dome. Every evening, the promenade is filled with locals and tourists walking among the numerous pubs and restaurants. Free time. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
3. DAY.MUSKAT - BARKA - NAKHL - AL RUSTAQ - THOWARA (route: approx. 280 km)
Breakfast. Visiting the Bait Al Gasham Museum, which is located in an approx. 300-year-old fortified mansion built of mud brick. The museum has an interesting exhibition showing the daily life of the former aristocracy. Transfer to the town of BARKA on the outskirts of Muscat. A transition to the local fish market, where, while walking among the stalls with morning catch, the visitor becomes a spectator and participant in everyday life. Loud exchange of views, spectacle of price negotiations between buyers and buyers checking the price and quality of the catch. Free time. Then drive and visit one of the most interesting desert forts in Oman - NAKHL. The history of the fort is extremely rich and interesting. It was built in pre-Islamic times, it was rebuilt and extended many times. Currently, there are, among others museum presenting historical weapons. It is several kilometers away from the town of AL-RUSTAQ, with an interesting fort. Then drive to the oasis of THOWARA, walk and free time. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
4. DAY. HAWIYAT NAJM - WADI TIWI - SUR (route: approx. 500 km)
Breakfast. A full day trip along the coast. The beautifully scenic route begins with HAWAIYAT NAJM, or shooting stars as the locals call the karst funnel filled with turquoise water. Free time for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear water. The route continues to WADI TIWI. Wadi is one of the most characteristic elements of the Oman landscape. They are natural water pools in the desert landscape, extremely popular with Oman who want a break from the desert and the sun. Walking along the trail to the oasis and free time. Transfer to SUR, one of the most important urban centers in Oman. A visit to the shipyard-museum, where you can learn about the tradition of producing Arabian dhow boats. The exhibition includes traditional Oman ships, photographs showing the past life of the city and the shipyard. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
5. DAY. MUSKAT
Breakfast. A few-hour tour of MUSKAT: Royal Opera, Bait Al Baranda Museum, showing the history of Oman from an ethnographic perspective in the form of a multimedia exhibition. Optional (at an additional cost on site): 2-hour relaxing cruise on a traditional Dhow boat along the coast of Muscat. The cruise is a great opportunity to admire the architecture of Old Muscat in the rays of the setting sun. Return to the hotel, free time. Dinner and overnight.
6. DAY. NIZWA - BIRKAT AL MOUZ (route: approx. 300 km)
Breakfast. Transfer to NIZWA - the old capital of Oman, which has kept its charm. A visit to the bazaar known for its artistic silver and copper products. Visiting the most impressive fortress in Oman - Jabreen and the magnificent fort in Bahla, entered on the UNESCO list. The fort was probably founded in the 6th century BCE, over the centuries it was rebuilt and extended many times. Currently, it is the largest fort in Oman open to the public. Transfer to the Hajar Mountains to the town of BIRKAT AL MOUZ, the translation of which means "banana lake" and fully reflects the character of this place. There is a green landscape at the foot of the mountains. A walk among banana trees and a palm grove brings a respite from the scorching sun and the ubiquitous desert landscape. In the town you can see the remains of traditional buildings and typical for Oman irrigation systems. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
7. DAY. MUSKAT
Breakfast. Free time or optional (for an extra charge on site): drive in 4x4 cars towards the wadi. The route offers picturesque views of the Hajar Mountains. Transfer to Wadi Bani Khalid, considered one of the most beautiful wadi in the world. Time for a swim in the crystal clear waters and a great opportunity to take amazing photos surrounded by palm groves, rock pools and steep gorges. At the end of the tour, an exciting drive through the dunes of the Wahiba Sands desert. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
8. DAY.
Breakfast. Checking out. Free time (depending on the time of departure), transfer to the airport and departure to Poland. For people who extend their stay for a week's rest: breakfast, check-out, transfer to the airport. Transfer to the hotel of your choice.

Wycieczka bardzo udana. Godna polecenia. Poznaliśmy historię i uroki dzisiejszego Omanu. Pan pilot Jędrzej dużo nam opowiadał o życiu, zwyczajach i kulturze Omanczykow. Hotel czysty,jedzenie też dobre. Każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Autokar i kierowca bez zarzutu. Program Wycieczki trafiony. Może tylko oglądanie fortu z zewnątrz skoro był zamknięty można było zamienić na coś innego albo być w inny miejscu dłużej.

Oman i wycieczka po tym niesamowitym kraju zrobiła na mnie duże wrażenie. Kraj bezpieczny i przyjazny turystom, co nie jest takie zwyczajne, jeśli chodzi o kraje arabskie. Oman nie ma zabytków, może z 12 czy 13 wieku, ale to co stare i nowe było dobrze i ciekawie pokazane. Wspaniała arabska architektura połączona z nowoczesnością robi wrażenie. Kraj bogaty, ale i dobrze zarządzany, z czego mieszkańcy tego kraju również korzystają. Jeśli będę kiedyś mogła to może skuszę się jeszcze raz polecieć do Omanu np. na wypoczynek.

Ponadto cieszy przyjazna atmosfera, wiedza oraz obycie przewodnika i uprzejmość kierowcy.

Czas zwiedzania ograniczony do minimum.Dlugie przejazdy autokarem , bardzo kròtki pobyt w ciekawych miejscach i zdecydowanie za wczesny powrot do hotelu, w ktorym kompletnie nie ma co robić i wyjsc tez nie ma gdzie. Bardzo kiepska komunikacja z pilotką. Mało informacji o kraju ,regionie i zwyczajach . Fakultatywne wycieczki nie warte ceny.

Jestem zadowolona, że wybrałam tę wycieczkę i chętnie polecę ją innym osobom. Niestety nie mieliśmy szczęścia do dobrego pilota. Pani [...] być może miała wiedzę ale niezbyt często i chętnie ją przekazywała. Na szczęście, że nie było zdarzeń które wymagały jej pomocy bo zaraz na początku wycieczki, podając swój numer telefonu, zaznaczyła, że dzwonić do niej można w przypadku zagrożenia życia. To był chyba żart.

Wycieczka zapowiadała się bardzo ciekawie. Oman to piękny i nieznany dla nas kraj. Jednak jeśli chodzi o realizację to nie do końca jesteśmy usatysfakcjonowani. Szczególnie wycieczka do Wadi Tiwi okazała się rozczarowaniem. A mogłoby być "baja " ..Poza tym półtorej godziny w upanym Bahla ,gdzie oprócz fortu , w ktorym wg pani przewodnik nie ma nic ciekawego i dwóch knajp, zamiast dać więcej czasu w Nizwie na bazarze....to porażka i strata czasu. Poza tym kierunek warty polecenia. Ludzie mili,uśmiechnięci, życzliwi. Ceny przystępne.

Przygoda z Omanem to moje pierwsze spotkanie z kulturą arabską. Program wycieczki zawiera zarówno dobre jak i słabe elementy nad którymi warto się pochylić . Kiepsko ulokowany hotel w hinduskiej dzielnicy roboczej do którego wracało się we wczesnych godzinach nie sprzyjał organizowaniu czasu wolnego. Spacer wśród bananowcow wokół jakiś budowli i cmentarzyska betonu też nie powinien mieć miejsca. Trzeba było uzyc dużoooo wyobraźni żeby poczuć klimat chilloutu wśród zieleni. Krótkie postoje w wadich a za długie na trasie. Największe rozgoryczenie to Wadi Tiwi . Dowieźli nad kałuże i nie powiedzieli że właściwe piękno Wadi zaczyna się za 12 km. Ja rozumiem, że autobus tam by nie dojechał ale można było powiedzieć że jest opcja wynajęcia auta czy taksówki czy nawet stopu. Ech , szkoda.. Wycieczka fakultatywna na pustynię za niemałe pieniądze, która skończyła się tuż przed zachodem słońca też nie była satysfakcjonująca. Godzinę dłużej i byłaby baja Oman jest piękny, fascynujący. Kryje jeszcze dużo do odkrycia. Ma zapach kadzidła, arabskich perfum i smak najlepszych daktyli na świecie.

Ciekawy, egzotyczny kraj, a więc wyjazd też ekscytujący. Lokalne wycieczki dobrze zorganizowane i prowadzone rewelacyjnie przez rezydenta, który przekazał dużą wiedzę o tym regionie.
