Nie byłam w Turcji od lat 90-tych. Jestem mile zaskoczona poziomem rozwoju Turcji od tego czasu. Dobrze zaplanowana i zorganizowana wycieczka. Hotele w większości na dobrym poziomie. Jedzenie dobre, a nawet bardzo dobre, poza wędlinami, które nie były smaczne. Bardzo duży wybór nabiału. Herbata, kawa i woda, soki na śniadanie, a na kolację zawsze woda bezpłatnie. Chwilami brakowało czasu na dogłębne zwiedzanie. Stambuł i Kapadocja niezwykle ciekawe, pozostałe jak Bursa, Konya czy Pamukkale również, chociaż niestety Pamukkale wysycha. Wycieczka była fantastyczna ,pouczająca, choć nie ukrywam , że długa jazda autobusem męczy ale szybko zapomina się o zmęczeniu podziwiając wspaniałe widoki i zabytki. Opieka Pilota bardzo dobra , jego znajomość historii i zabawne historyjki , które opowiadał umilała nam podróż . Pełen tolerancji kulturowej i otwarty na historyczne zmiany miejsc po których nas oprowadzał. Osobiste zaangażowanie i dbałość o bezpieczeństwo i zadowolenie uczestników wycieczki tak na postojach i miejscach zakwaterowania sprawiała że czuliśmy się bezpiecznie i otoczeni opieką. Jedyne zastrzeżenie jakie mamy to czas nocy tureckiej , która powinna się odbyć na początku wycieczki tak aby uczestnicy mogli się lepiej poznać. Ale to tylko taki malutki ledwie zauważalny minusik.

Wycieczka objazdowa Orient Express po Turcji w 100 % spełniła nasze oczekiwania. Najdłużej w naszej pamięci oprócz odwiedzonych wspaniałych miejsc, pozostanie nasz lokalny przewodnik Vołga , który swoją ogromną wiedzą oraz dowcipem spowodował, że chyba wszyscy uczestnicy tej wycieczki pokochali Turcję. Do dzisiaj boli mnie brzuch ze śmiechu. P.S. Wołga poważnie powinieneś pomyśleć o występach komediowych na scenie.

Czytając program tej wycieczki pomyślałam sobie "super pomysł na spędzenie majówki i sprawdzenie czy Turcja mi się podoba". Zobaczenie najważniejszych punktów w miastach, przez które przejeżdżamy też było super patentem. Jednak długie przejazdy i "odhaczanie" punktów programu (lub jak się póżniej okazało nawet nie realizowanie całego programu - ale o tym pózniej) było moim problemem jeśli chodzi o tę wycieczkę. Spodziewałam się, że będziemy zwiedzać obiekty, które mamy w programie, a nie bazary. Podział czasu na zwiedzane obiekty aby je obejrzeć, porobić zdjęcia i poeksplorować to było średnio 15-20min max aby potem szybko jechać na bazar gdzie mieliśmy zazwyczaj około godziny na zakupy. Wolałabym aby było odwrotnie - ale to moja subiektywna opinia. Bardzo ważnym aspektem wyjazdu jest na jakiego przewodnika traficie. Jeśli macie szczęście w życiu, traficie na tureckiego przewodnika, który okazał się absolutnym MVP wyjazdu albo tak jak my - traficie na polskiego przewodnika, który odhaczał punkty programu i generalnie poza liczeniem nas nie za wiele mu zależało. Jeśli kupujecie tę wycieczkę w promocji absolutnie polecam (z zaznaczeniem, że traficie na tureckiego przewodnika). W innym wypadku good luck. Jeśli kupujecie tę wycieczkę ze znajomymi z innego miasta (i np kupujecie w różnych oddziałach Itaki) zaznaczcie, że chcecie być w tej samej grupie/autokarze/samolocie. Bo w naszym wypadku razem jechały 3 autokary i niestety byliśmy rozdzieleni z naszymi znajomymi (w autokarze, grupie, locie - mimo że lecieliśmy wszyscy z Warszawy i na koniec w hotelach też). Bo nikt z nas nie wiedział, że grupa będzie aż tak liczna. Co do wycieczek dodatkowych - Stambuł nocą - super!; Hammam - nie wiem, bo nasz przewodnik nawet nie zbierał na niego kasy i został magicznie pominięty mimo, że byli chętni; balony w Kapadocji - nie wiem bo odwołali; pokaz tańca - do pominięcia.

Bardzo ciekawa wycieczka. Express w tytule nie jest tu przypadkiem. Dzięki wspaniałemu przewodnikowi , Umutowi dowiedzieliśmy wielu bardzo interesujących rzeczy o historii Turcji, ale także o współczesnym życiu w tym kraju. Nasz pilot jest Turkiem, który pięknie mówi po polsku, jest bardzo profesjonalnym przewodnikiem ,empatycznym i inteligentnym młodym człowiekiem. Poznaliśmy Turcję archeologiczną, aż do współczesności. Chętnie rozważę inne wycieczki do tego kraju, o których mówił nam przewodnik. Spaliśmy w dobrych hotelach, z wyjątkiem Ankary, gdzie pokoje pozostawiały trochę do życzenia. Wyżywienie dobre, nikt na pewno nie był głodny ani zawiedziony, bo w przeważającej większości był wybór i to całkiem spory. Napoje dodatkowo płatne, ale nie były to zawrotne ceny, więc każdy mógł skorzystać. Jeździliśmy bardzo dobrym autokarem, nasz kierowca był uważny i skoncentrowany, czuliśmy się bezpiecznie.
