Przebywaliśmy w hotelu na przełomie września i października 2023 roku. Hotel czysty, zadbany, pokoje sprzątane codziennie, mini bar bez opłat, dostawaliśmy 1 butelkę wody i sok lub coca-colę na pokój dziennie. Czasami ręczniki wydawały się nieświeże, tak, że polecam zabrać swój, jeżeli komuś to przeszkadza( tak jakby prane w 30 st C.) Na plaży wodorosty, które były od czasu do czasu usuwane. Leżaki przy basenie i na plaży dostępne , ale warto wcześniej wyjść na plażowanie. Jedzenie wyśmienite, ogromny wybór ! Dania rybne, mięsne, pizza, zapiekanki, owoce morza , sushi, frytki, ziemniaki pieczone , kasze różnego rodzaju, sałatki warzywne, sałatki owocowe, sosy , ciasta, owoce świeże, lody, drożdżowki, jajka sadzone i omlety robione na zamówienie przy ladzie, zupy dwie do wyboru. Rano 6 rodzajów jogurtów do wyboru( sprawdzone - bez sensacji żołądkowych), do nich rózne rodzaje płatków, orzechów itp. Sery białe, sery żółte, wędzliny. Obsługa kelnerska fantastyczna !, brudne talerze zabierane gdy szło się po repetę :) wino do wyboru i woda do posiłków bez ograniczeń. Bary przy plaży z coca-colą , wodą , sokami butelkowanymi i lemoniadami . Pracownicy recepcji uczynni, wszyscy pracownicy bardzo mili. Otoczenie hotelu bardzo czyste, od rana podlewana trawa, grabione otoczenie roślin. W hotelu wieczorami m.inn .koncert harfistki, potańcówki, raz grał pan na fortepianie w kawiarence. Polecam bardzo ten hotel !

Hotel jest czysty, świetnie zlokalizowany. Nadaje się na odpoczynek od zgiełku i nabranie energii. Wyżywienie świetne - każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Są także wykwintne dania - raz w tygodniu homar, kalmary, krewetki, sushi. Pokoje są codzienne sprzątane. Tu chwila komentarza - hotel jest odnowiony w 2019 roku, co oznacza, że widać już nieco zużycie pokoi, choć zależy na jaki się trafi. Obsługa bardzo się stara, by goście byli zadowoleni. W restauracji nakrycia stołów są zmieniane do każdego posiłku. Basen duży, wygodny do pływania, plaża blisko, leżaki przygotowane. Niestety zdarzyła nam się nieprzyjemna sytuacja i tu już wkraczamy w aspekty kulturowe. Zostawiliśmy przed śniadaniem na stoliku pieniądze dla pani od sprzątania. Gdy wróciliśmy do pokoju po rzeczy na plażę - pokój nie był jeszcze posprzątany, a pieniędzy nie było. Gdy wychodziliśmy z pokoju obserwował nas człowiek od obsługi technicznej. Wydaje nam się, że był odpowiedzialny za kradzież pieniędzy. Zgłosiliśmy do recepcji ten fakt, a tu..... każdy udawał Greka (Tunezyjczyka). Oczywiście współczuli, ale nic nie mogli zrobić. Nie zachowali się z klasą, nie zaproponowali rekompensaty, traktowali nas jak powietrze. No cóż, takie uroki krajów arabskich. Mimo to urlop zaliczam do bardzo udanych i polecam hotel na dobry odpoczynek.

Hotel godny polecenia dla osób szukających ciszy i wypoczynku. Świadczone usługi (miła pomocna obsługa w szczególności kelnerów i barmanów, dobre wyżywienie) zasługują na uznanie. Podczas 12 dniowego pobytu, o każdej porze dnia, nie było problemu ze znalezieniem wolnych leżaków, zarówno przy basenie jak i na plaży. Hotel nie posiada animacji, lecz każdego dnia od godz. 21 do 24 w głównym barze można potańczyć, zarówno przy muzyce na żywo granej przez zapraszane zespoły lub muzyce disco. W barach serwowane są przez obsługujących stoliki kelnerów, dobre drinki robione na życzenie turysty, które serwowane są szybko i sprawnie. Oprócz tego w ofercie All są: lokalne butelkowe 3 rodzaje wina , piwo oraz napoje lane z butelek. Do śniadania podawane są smaczne soki wyciskane z naturalnych owoców. Wyżywienie smaczne i urozmaicone, duży wybór ryb i owoców morza. Warto skorzystać z wycieczek: statkiem na wyspę flamingów (podróż do portu autobusem ok 15 min, przepływ statkiem ok 1 godz. w jedną stronę, plażowanie ok 1,5 godz. poczęstunek z lokalnych potraw na na wyspie i wypływ do portu) oraz Djerba Expres (zwiedzanie manufaktury garncarstwa, muzeum tradycji Tunezyjskich oraz dwóch miasteczek. Ceny wycieczek po 30 euro (czas trwania ok 5-6 godz. ) W odległości ok. 10 km od hotelu znajduję się atrakcja do zwiedzenia również indywidualnego (taxi) w postaci Djerba Explore Park ( ferma krokodyli). Plaża hotelowa szeroka piaszczysta, codziennie sprzątana podczas przypływów punktowe gromadzenie się wodorostów. Jeżeli chodzi o obsługę żeńska hotelu ale również samolotu i lotniska bardzo niemiła, w hotelu barmani, kelnerzy i obsługa hotelu bardzo miła. Wyżywienie śniadania bardzo skromne i nieurozmaicone. Snack bar bardzo ubogi tylko bułki wyschnięte, oraz naleśniki robione pod gości francuskich. Obiad oraz kolacja bardzo dobre. Pokój do odnowienia. Plaża ładna ale po większych powiewach zaniedbana.

Hotel Ulysse Djerba wywarł na nas ogromne wrażenie. W takim hotelu jeszcze nie byliśmy. Pokoje odnowione, ładne, łazienki z dużym prysznicem i oddzielną toaletą, wszędzie jest czysto. Plaża przy hotelu również jest bardzo zadbana, a woda w morzu wręcz turkusowa. Obsługa hotelu stale dba o komfort gości, jedyny minus to słaba znajomość języka angielskiego u większości pracowników. Jeżeli chodzi o jedzenie to tu byliśmy pod największym wrażeniem. Codziennie szeroki wybór ryb, mięsa, warzyw, owoców i deserów. Oprócz tego wszystko jest naprawdę pyszne. Restauracja a La carte również spełniła nasze oczekiwania. Kolejna ważna kwestia to szeroki wybór drinków w barze, które nie są podawane (jak w innych hotelach all inclusive) w papierowych kubeczkach tylko w wysokich szklankach. Oprócz standardowej wódki z sokiem w cenie były również drinki typu mohito, czy cuba libre. Zdecydowanie polecamy ten hotel innym gościom, chętnie tam jeszcze kiedyś wrócimy.

Sahara - Top Tozeur (2 days) — Day 1: ferry passage from Djerba to the mainland. Visit to a traditional souk in Gabes. Free time. Then a passage over the largest salt lake in Tunisia - Chott el Jerid, which shimmers with salt crystals; short stop for photos. Arrive in the afternoon in the village of Tozeur - accommodation in 4* hotel. Lunch. Ksar Ghilane — Roman road crossing between the island of Djerba and the mainland, in the direction of Medenine, where Ghorfas, the former fortified granaries, can be seen. Then a visit to Ksar Ghilane, the southernmost palm oasis with the ruins of a Roman fort. It is also a gateway to the Tunisian part of the Sahara. Rest in an oasis, relax in a thermal lake, lunch.
