Dość pozytywna ogólna ocena hotelu wynika w mojej opinii z kameralnego charakteru całego założenia, nie poziomu świadczonych usług. Zwracam przy tym uwagę, że kategoryzacja hotelu dokonana przez Itakę wprowadza w błąd - w wyszukiwarce przy nazwie hotelu Cay Beach Meloneras występuje 4*, natomiast w opisie szczegółowym hotel określany jest jako 3-gwiazdkowy o podwyższonym standardzie. W mojej ocenie hotel nie spełnia wymogów tej kategorii. Zastrzeżenia budzi zwłaszcza wyżywienie - niesmaczne, mało zróżnicowane, bazujące często na pozostałościach z poprzednich posiłków. Poziom obsługi kelnerskiej personelu restauracji, a raczej stołówki (posiłki wydawane na podstawie kartek) jest niski (panie kelnerki hałasują naczyniami podczas posiłków, resztki jedzenia zgarniane są przy wyjściu na taras zewnętrzny, przy gościach, a nie na zapleczu). Pokoje sprzątane są pobieżnie, natomiast pościel nie była zmieniona ani razu. Jeśli miałabym polecić hotel, to raczej dla osób, które swojego wypoczynku nie łączą wyłącznie z pobytem w hotelu.

Obsługa bardzo dobra, choć w naszym pokoju po włączeniu klimatyzacji strasznie hałasował prawdopodobnie wymiennik ciepła - zgłoszone na recepcji - bez rezultatu... na szczęście nie było tak upalnie by klima musiała działać w nocy.

Nie polecam dla młodych osób szukajacych rozrywki i atrakcji. Fajne miejsce na relaks i tylko relaks lecz animacji i odrobiny wakacyjnego szaleństwa brak. W hotelu panuje nudny i wręcz usypiający klimat. Jezeli chodzi o jakos usługi w stusunku do ceny raczej nie ma się do czego przyczepic, czysty zadbany. Wakacje świetne przede wszystkim ze względu na bardzo sprzyjajacy klimat i urodę wyspy. Pogoda jest idealna nie jest ani za gorąco ani za zimnio. Panująca strefa bezcłowa sprzyja zakupom i sprawia, że wakacje nie sa aż tak kosztowne jak w innych krajach euro.

Ponadto ma się poczucie, że czekają na napiwki.Jedzenie średnio urozmaicone, ale w zasadzie smaczne.Zdarza się,że przez 2 dni z rzędu jest tuńczyk (na śniadania i kolacje),a jajka ze śniadania są zużywane do kolacji tego samego dnia.Poza tym ok.Plaża blisko hotelu brzydka,a na ładną plażę trzeba przejść dłuższy kawałek promenadą.Suma sumarum hotel polecamy.
