Hotel świetny, szczególnie dla turystów nie lubiących 'all inclusive' i animacji. To najstarszy hotel na Sal, z prawdziwą historią, położony właściwie w samej miejscowości Santa Maria. Czysty, w kolonialnym stylu, stoły bilardowe, snooker, stoliki karciane, mini golf, trzy bardzo zadbane baseny (codziennie czyszczona i sprawdzana woda). Śniadania możliwe, ale monotonne. Kuchnia dobra, dość droga w wersji 'a'la carte'. Kameralna atmosfera, bez zgiełku i głośnej muzyki, goście głównie z Francji, Holandii, trochę z Niemiec. Cabo Verde to jeszcze dość surowy świat ze świetnymi warunkami do uprawiania wszystkich sportów wodnych (niezłe bazy nurkowe i wypożyczalnie desek) - Sal i Boa Vista| treckingu (Sao Antao) czy zwiedzania (Mindelo, Praia). Ludzie bardzo mili i pozytywnie nastawieni do życia, mimo niezbyt dobrych warunków materialnych. Dość natarczywi bywają wyłącznie czarnoskórzy z Senegalu. Jest bardzo bezpiecznie, mało komarów. Słodkiej wody brakuje wszędzie, praktycznie nie pada w ogóle, woda do picia wyłącznie z butelek. Ocean piękny i ciepły. Wrócimy na pewno.

Jest to już nasza trzecia wizyta w tym hotelu. Hotel w stylu kolonialnym, bardzo wygodny ze wspaniałą obsługą. Jest to najlepiej położony hotel na wyspie Sal. Prawie w samym miasteczku Santa Maria, przy głównym molo, do którego codziennie przypływają łodzie rybackie. Co tu dużo pisać jeśli jesteśmy na tej wyspie, w tym hotelu po raz trzeci :) Wspaniałe wakacje na pięknej plaży, w wspaniałym hotelu.
