Hotel składa się z dwóch części. Części głównej (gdzie jest restauracja, główny basen, recepcja, główne atrakcje, dojście do plaży ) i pozostałych budynków po drugiej stronie ulicy) tam też drugi basen. Ulica nie jest przesadnie ruchliwa. Generalnie w hotelu jest czysto, obsługa jest życzliwa i pomocna. Co prawda w naszej łazience było trochę mrówek. Tak czasem jest. Nie przeszkadzało nam to. Pokój z klimatyzacją która dobrze działała ale meble w pokoju już nieco zużyte. Byliśmy w tzw family room. Cześć z dostawkami to dwie kanapy trochę zawalidrogi. Ogromne drewniane masywne. Szkoda że nie bardziej ergonomiczne i jednak nowsze. Tu coś porysowane. Tu wytarte. I to dotyczy całego umeblowania. Na plus dobrze działający internet tak w pokoju jak i na terenie hotelu. Na minus brak lampek nocnych na szafkach. Nieco mylące zdjęcie hotelu. Basen z budynkiem na środku należy już do drugiego hotelu. Leżaki wygodne ale może im braknąć stąd okazało się że zaklepywanie ręcznikiem jest konieczne. Można dostawić leżak ale miejsce jest ograniczone. Bezpłatne leżaki też na plaży. Woda w basenie czysta. Wyżywienie jak to w hotelu. Ok. Ale taki standard. Nic „porywającego” ale też nic na minus. Nawet spory wybór dań wege co było fajnym zaskoczeniem. Okolica hotelu raczej nie obfituje w atrakcje ale jest przystanek autobusowy obok skąd można dojechać do Chanii. My mieliśmy wynajęty samochód który wydaje nam się must jak ktoś chce coś zobaczyć. Stosunkowo niedaleko Lidl. Pod nosem takie sklepy z wszystkim. Na miejscu spa - głównie masaże. Ale nie korzystaliśmy więc trudno oceniać. Hotel raczej spokojny.

Przy bungalowach baseny, oprócz tego dwa baseny duże ogólnodostępne. Wyżywienie super i urozmaicane. Każdy znajdzie dla siebie pyszności. Bary na terenie serwują bardzo dobre przekąski, lody, napoje. Niczego więcej nie trzeba. Wszystko jest na miejscu.

Hotel spełnił nasze oczekiwania w 100%. Czyste wygodne pokoje (polecam dopłacić do pokoju w głównej części Afrodite), sprzątane codziennie, z wymianą ręczników na życzenie. Goście w hotelu to głównie turyści ze Skandynawii, kilka osób z Polski, Niemiec i Francji. Obsługa miła, pomocna, zawsze uśmiechnięta, wysoki poziom (mieliśmy chwilowy problem z prądem w naszym pokoju - usterka usunięta w 10 minut!). Wyżywienie bardzo smaczne i różnorodne - każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie, gdyż wybór jest bardzo duży. Począwszy od mięs, ryb, owoców, warzyw, sałatek, pysznych ciast, deserów i lodów, a skończywszy na daniach dla wegetarian i bezglutenowych. Do wyboru zarówno dania typowo greckie (w tym regionalne potrawy kuchni kreteńskiej), jak również kolacje tematyczne (kuchnia włoska, azjatycka, itp.) Oprócz posiłków głównych, w ciągu dnia przekąski, pita, burgery, lody, owoce, drinki i napoje chłodzące bez ograniczeń w 3 różnych barach. Jedyny minus to...kawa. Hotelowa była bardzo słaba. Jeśli ktoś preferuje dobre espresso lub cappuccino (plus świeżutki, wyciskany sok z pomarańczy!) to polecam dodatkowo płatny bar przy plaży. No właśnie plaża...tutaj zdania były podzielone...Plaża jest piękna, duża, rozległa, piaszczysto-kamienista, z bezpłatnymi leżakami/parasolami. Jednak zejście do morza jest bardzo kamieniste i bez butów do wody, mało komfortowe. Jeśli ktoś chce się nacieszyć prawdziwą, piękną grecką plażą to polecam albo (1) wynająć auto (można na miejscu w hotelu) i podjechać kawałek na super świetną plażę Falassarna (25 minut od hotelu, jedna z najładniejszych w Europie!), nieco dalej plaża Elafonissi z różowym piaskiem (około 75 minut jazdy przez góry, piękny rejon wąwozu Topolia oraz klimatyczne, greckie wioski), albo (2) skorzystać z wycieczek fakultatywnych Itaki (np. Balos/Gramvousa - cudna laguna, krystalicznie czysta woda). Generalnie: gorąco polecam ten hotel. Animacji nie opisuję, gdyż poza basenem (na plus brak potrzeby rezerwacji leżaków o 6 rano:-), zawsze znalazło się miejsce dla 3 osób), grą w siatkówkę plażową i water polo raczej nie korzystaliśmy. Animatorzy jednak bardzo się starali, aby urozmaicić pobyt. Pozdrawiamy kolegę animatora z Tunezji!

Jestem mile zaskoczona. Bardzo dobry hotel, szczególnie dla rodzin z dziećmi . Miła obsługa, ładne miejsce, prywatna plaża, piękne widoki. Spokojna okolica, wszędzie zielono i kwieciście. Dużo sklepów z pamiątkami, dwa markety z żywnością. Jedzenie pyszne, codziennie coś innego. Fajne tacki dla dzieci i świetnie przygotowane jedzenie np. małe hamburgery, kanapeczki , makarony, lody, owoce. Córka była bardzo zadowolona, sama sobie nakładała.

Golden beaches and lagoons of Crete — Gramvousa and Balos: the route of the expedition runs along the northern coast, to the port of Kissamos, where the cruise begins around a gorgeous bay. Gramvousa is uninhabited, with intact nature and is a natural reserve for many species of birds. Next to it Balos Bay extends, with stunning blue waters and golden sands. Lashiti — visiting the fascinating corner of eastern Crete - the Lashiti Plateau. This uninhabited islet with intact nature is a natural reserve for many species of birds. A swim in the bay and visit to the ruins located on a 137 metre hill of the Venetian fortress from the 16th century, providing wonderful views of Balos Bay. Elafonisi — this tiny islet located in the depths of the bay of the same name is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Crete. Separated from the mainland by a very shallow sea. It is possible to reach by walking on the sandy bottom. Heading south along the track of Cretan villages called Enneachoria we will see the Chapel of Agia Sofia known from Neolithic times hidden in the grotto, and the stalactites and stalagmites occurring there. The tour includes the charming little village of Ano Vouves, where the oldest olive tree in Greece is located. A pleasant end to the day is the visit to the local wineries. Knossos and Heraklion - exploring the most important remnants of Minoan Crete — the ruins of the Palace of Knossos, which was probably a mythical maze. After exploring the palace, transfer to Heraklion - the capital of the island, free time for a walk and shopping, or optionally: visiting the Archaeological Museum.
