Breakfast. Visiting the capital of Scotland - EDINBURGH. Visit Edinburgh Castle, the symbol of Scotland, one of the oldest and largest castles in Great Britain. The fortress, dating back to the 9th century, was built on top of an extinct volcano and is the site of the Scottish Crown Jewels. A visit to the Grassmarket at the foot of the castle hill, at the statue of the faithful dog Greyfriars Bobby and at the Scottish National Museum. Walk on the Royal Mile - the main street of the old town, with its alleys, churches, shops and pubs. A tour of the city by coach, during which we will see the New Town - a Georgian district to which, after the Union with England in 1707, the wealthy inhabitants of the then cramped and uncomfortable Old Town moved; the famous doctors Joseph Lister and Alexander Fleming, the writers Robert Louis Stevenson and Arthur Conan Doyle later lived here. Drive along Princes Street Gardens, past the pseudo-Gothic monument of Sir Walter Scott, the historic Balmoral Hotel to Holyrood Palace - the residence of British monarchs in Scotland and the seat of the Scottish Parliament. Return to the hotel, overnight.
3. DAY. STIRLING - FALKIRK WHEEL - FORTH BRIDGE - ST ANDREWS
Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to STIRLING. The city went down in history when in 1297 the Scottish army led by William Wallace defeated the English there. Visiting the castle where Maria Stuart was coronated in 1543. Once the favorite residence of the Stuart dynasty, today it is considered a pearl of the Scottish Renaissance. Transfer to FALKIRK WHEEL - a rotating barge lift commissioned in 2002 is considered one of the wonders of Scottish engineering. Another is the 1890 Victorian FORTH BRIDGE, which can be seen on the way to ST ANDREWS in County Fife. Tour the ruins of the cathedral - once the largest and most magnificent cathedral in Scotland. The ruins of the cathedral against the background of the cemetery illustrate the dark atmosphere of the Reformation times. 4. DAY. GLAMIS - DUNNOTTAR

On the basis of a privilege granted by Queen Victoria, the prince has the only private army in Europe. The castle from the 13th century houses valuable collections of weapons, hunting trophies, furniture, porcelain and lace. Peacocks and deer live in the gardens. A visit to a Scotch whiskey distillery - visiting the premises where individual stages of production take place: malting, grinding, fermentation, distillation, aging, and finally the most important phase - tasting. Transfer to a hotel in the Inverness area, accommodation, overnight.
6. DAY. LOCH NESS - LOCH DUICH - ISLAND OF SKYE
Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to the ruins of Urquhart Castle, picturesquely situated on the LOCH NESS lake. An isolated castle on the rocky shore of a dark lake is a romantic and mysterious place. The unusual atmosphere is fueled by numerous legends and stories praising Nessie - a monster that has survived for millions of years in the lake. Transfer to Eilean Donan Castle on LOCH DUICH Island. The castle, erected in 1220 by the Scottish king Alexander II, retained its unique atmosphere and was the setting for the films "The Immortal" and "The World Is Not Enough". Transfer over the Skye Bridge to the ISLAND OF SKYE, where the inaccessible rocky peaks of the Cuillins dominate among the lakes and the omnipresent fog. Breakfast, check out. Drive towards Fort William, the city at the foot of Britain's highest mountain - Ben Nevis. On the way, a stop at the GLENFINNAN railway viaduct, known from the Harry Potter movies. Another stop at the so-called Neptune's Staircase - nine locks that are part of the Caledonian Canal, built at the beginning of the 19th century by the Scottish constructor Thomas Telford. Ride down the GLENCOE VALLEY, where in 1692 the MacDonald clan was murdered, the bloodiest event in the British Isles. Transfer to the Inverary area in Argyll and Bute counties. Visiting the INVERARAY castle, famous for its interesting combination of Baroque, Neo-Gothic and Palladian style elements. The castle lounge, which houses a magnificent collection of 18th century weapons, is considered the tallest room in all of Scotland. Hotel accommodation in the Glasgow area. Overnight.

Wycieczka udana , połączenie programu oraz świetnej pracy rezydentki p. Magdy stanowiły o sukcesie i miłych wrażeniach jakie wyniosłem z odbytej podróży. Dzięki ogromnemu zasobowi wiedzy p. Magdaleny o Szkocji dowiedziałem się bardzo wiele o historii średniowiecznej oraz współczesnej tego kraju. Do tego historyczne zamki powiązane z opowiadaniami o ich zaszłości stanowiły ciekawy materiał poznawczy. Nie zabrakło również przekazu o współczesnych zagadnieniach dotyczących mieszkańców oraz królestwa Szkocji. Bardzo cenię i podziwiam wykonaną pracę pani Magdaleny. Kierowca oraz autokar doskonały. Wrażenia pozostaną na bardzo długo w mej pamięci.

Bardzo ciekawa trasa, niesamowite zamki, przepiękne widoki, b. sympatyczny miejscowy kierowca. Szkocja jest przepiękna! koniecznie trzeba ją zwiedzić, szkoda,że tak długo zwlekałam. REWELACYJNA pilotka p. Magda, która od 5 lat mieszka w Glasgow - niesamowita wiedza i sposób jej przekazania, maksymalnie zaangażowana - świetna!!! Niestety, wada - to przelot z przesiadką i tylko godzina na transfer - lotnisko w Amsterdamie dość duże, trzeba było prawie biec, by zdążyć odszukać odpowiedni terminal -KOSZMAR! Warto wykupić obiadokolacje - bardzo smaczne, przystawka, danie główne i deser, a dwa dni - w COSMO wszystko do wyboru w nieograniczonej ilości! Hotele - duże pokoje, w każdym herbata,kawa, czajnik - ale większość to stare budynki, bez widny lub z małą windą, pokoje często w podziemiach lub niskim parterze, na pierwszy rzut oka - czyste...ALE - prawdopodobnie w przedostatnim, w Fort Willimas w nocy pogryzły mnie dotkliwie - PLUSKWY! miałam pecha - bo nikt inny nie trafił na tak ferelne lóżko. Na szczęście spałam w pidżamie, to mam pełno krost na rękach i kilka na karku, tak więc... przed snem sprawdźcie materac i obudowę łóżka i śpijcie TYLKO w pidżamie, najlepiej z długim rękawem/ no ja niestety miałam krótki/ i długich spodniach

Wycieczka marzeń, uczta dla duszy i ciała. Wraz z synem (16 lat) doświadczyliśmy niezapomnianych wrażeń. Do tej pory kochałam opowieści o Szkocji- o jej kulturze i historii, a teraz kocham ją jeszcze bardziej. ponieważ wszystko się potwierdziło, a nawet jest bezgranicznie lepiej. Pani Rezydentka - cudowna osoba , przedstawiła ogrom szkockiej historii i oddała serce uczestnikom wycieczki- OGROMNE PODZIĘKOWANIA za tonę opowieści, dobre rady, wskazówki ( co, gdzie i jak ) i poświęcenie. Dziękujemy panu kierowcy- za bezpieczne i sprawne dowiezienie nas do celu, za zwalnianie w górach na pstrykanie zdjęć... i za ten dzień w kilcie:) Autobus z klimatyzacją, szkocką muzyką, filmami- BAJKA. Piękno przyrody, zamki opuszczone i zamieszkałe, muzyka regionalna, jeziora- ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Loch Ness i ludzie- REWELACJA (syn mówi , że smoka- potwora z Loch Ness widział :) Nie wykupiłam obiadów i cieszyliśmy się "fish and chips" oraz innymi miejscowymi specjałami "na mieście"; w trakcie drogi skorzystaliśmy dwa razy z możliwości jedzenia obiadów z grupą i to też było fajne:) . Wreszcie miałam okazję spróbować haggisów i ich "bacon and eggs":) Pierwszy raz w życiu lecieliśmy samolotem i było świetnie; poradziliśmy sobie w Amsterdamie:) Dziękuję towarzyszom wycieczki za wspaniałą atmosferę! Wycieczka Zamki i smoki 20.05-27.05.23r.była dobrze zorganizowana,program ciekawy i atrakcyjny region.Jedynym mankamentem jest lot rejsowy z przesiadką we Frankfurcie,co znacznie wydłuża czas wycieczki i powoduje zmęczenie.W naszym przypadku samolot miał opóźnienie,więc nie zdążyliśmy na samolot do Glasgow,w zwiazku z tym utknęliśmy na cały dzień we Frankfurcie.Do Edynburga dolecieliśmy dopiero następnego dnia w późnych godzinach popołudniowych.Na lotnisku we Frankfurcie zabrakło nam przedstawiciela Itaki,który pomógłby grupie w organizacji.A tak musieliśmy radzić sobie sami.Rezydent p. Magdalena, czekała na nas na lotnisku w Edynburgu,potem autokarem pojechaliśmy do Glasgow. Rezydentka jest osobą bardzo komunikatywną ,z poczuciem humoru.Świetnie przygotowana merytorycznie,posiada ogromną wiedzę historyczną oraz opowiada o zwykłych obyczajach mieszkańców Szkocji.W czasie przejazdów puszczała nam filmy edukacyjne na temat historii regionu oraz muzykę,która świetnie komponowała się z krajobrazami za oknem autokaru.Bardzo dobra rezydentka,czuliśmy się zaopiekowani,udzielała niezbędnych informacji,była dostępna i zawsze pomocna.Autokar bardzo dobrej jakości .Kierowca z dużą kulturą osobistą,pomocny.Szkockie zamki robiły wrażenie,krajobrazy urzekały i zapierały dech.Do tego sprzyjająca pogoda.W czasie naszej wycieczki nie spadała żadna kropla deszczu,było słonecznie i ciepło.Wycieczkę gorąco polecam.

Szkocja jest przepięknym krajem z bogata historia i cudowna przyroda. Zamki , male miasteczka i wspaniałą dzika górska przyroda. W ciągu tygodnia miałam możliwość zapoznania się z historia szkocji inxobaczenia najważniejszym miejsc . Na pewno kiedys jeszcze wroce do Szkocji. Fenomenalna przewodnik Magda uratowała wycieczkę, nadrabiając jeden stracony dzień kiedy nie zdążyliśmy na samolot we Frankfurcie. W trakcie cakek trasy opowiadała historie, puszczała nagrane audycje które bardzo poszerzyły moja wiedzę o czasach wiktoriańskich. Polecam wycieczkę. Program. Uważam że można by wykreślić jeden zamek aby mieć więcej czasu na spacery w naturze. 11 zamków to trochę za dużo, wiele osób podkreślało że chciałoby mieć więcej czasu na Sky i w Highlands. Hotele. Dwa ostatnie hotele powinny być zmienione. Stare pokoje , bardzo długie oczekiwanie na kolację i jakość jedzenie była kiepska, szczegolnie w hotelu w glasgow przy lotnisku. Wyżywienie.. cóż w szkocji nie jedze świeżych warzyw więc trzeba się nastawić na słynne angielskie śniadanie. Obiadokolacje były bardzo dobre oprócz ostatnie dnia która była wręcz niejadalna. Standard autokaru..kierowca bardzo dbał o autokar, codziennie był czyszczony. Przelot ..brak pilota w trakcie przelotu z przesiadka i bardzo krotki czas na przesiadka we Frakfurcie spowodował że grupa ponad 40 osób utknęła we Frakfurcie , osoby bez znajomości angielskiego były bardzo zagubione i straciliśmy cały dzień wycieczki , który potem trzeba byłoby nadrabiać.
