2. DAY. CAMPALA - JINJA
Arrival in Entebbe. Completion of formalities at the airport. Meeting with the leader of the expedition. Drive through the largest city and capital of the country - KAMPALA. The city on the hills, located on Lake Victoria, is called by the inhabitants "the city of gardens", it is a combination of modernity and culture. On the itinerary: Kabaka Palace (Lubiri) and Idi Amin Torture Chamber - Lubiri Palace is the historical seat of the King of Buganda. Today, the complex is empty due to the gloomy function it performed during the Idi Amin regime in the 1970s. Amin built a torture chamber on the premises of the palace (now open to the public). Transfer to the local handicraft market. Transfer to the Ugandan capital of adrenaline - the city of JINJA, the second largest in Uganda and located on the northern shore of Africa's largest lake. Accommodation in a guesthouse near Jinja, overnight. Route: approx. 130 km.

3. DAY. JINJA
Breakfast. Transfer to the town of JINJA. Free time or optional (for an additional fee on site) participation in rafting on the White Nile (possible in two difficulty levels) and an afternoon cruise to the sources of the Nile. Return to the guesthouse, overnight.

4. DAY. RENAL SANCTUARY - MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast. Check out and drive to the MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK. On the way, a stop at the Ziwa Sanctuary. It is a place that was established to restore white rhinoceros to nature - in the 1970s, rhinos living in natural conditions disappeared as a result of poaching, the reserve is the only place in Uganda where you can meet them in the wild (about 15 of them live in the sanctuary). A local guide will take you on foot to a close encounter with them and this may take approximately 1.5 hours. Then transfer towards MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK. Lunch during the day. Accommodation in a lodge located at the bend of the White Nile, dinner and overnight. Route: approx. 350 km.

5. DAY. MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast. Safari at the MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK, stretching from the shores of Lake Alberta. It is the largest national park in Uganda, with an area of almost 400,000. m². The Nile flows through its center, creating the impressive Murchison Waterfall, which is the main attraction of the park. The forests are home to numerous primates, including chimpanzees, and Rothschild buffaloes, elephants and giraffes can be seen near the river. Other common wildlife include lions, antelopes, water goats, hippos, crocodiles, and warthogs. Then drive to the north bank of the Nile and break for lunch. The boat continues upstream on the tranquil Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. In the evening, return to your accommodation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 6. FORT PORTAL
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to FORT PORTAL - a town that is a starting point for exploring the area of the Kibale National Park, famous for its beautiful volcanic crater lakes. Drive through green countryside, traditional farms and tea plantations. Lunch on the way. Transfer to your accommodation. Check-in at the lodge, dinner and time to relax. Overnight. Route: approx. 350 km.

7th DAY. KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast. Free time or, optionally (for an additional fee on site), the possibility of taking part in a trek to see the chimpanzees living in the KIBALE NATIONAL PARK. Then lunch and time to relax at your accommodation. Optional (for an additional fee on site): possible guided walk in the Bigoti Swamp in order to spot the animals living there (including several species of monkeys, mongoose or silicon pigs). Return to the place of accommodation, dinner and overnight.

8th DAY. QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK. It is famous for its rich biodiversity, wildlife and history. Check-in and lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, drive to the park for a unique 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Canal to Lake Edward. This journey passes through one of the largest hippo centers in the world. It is also a great opportunity to see animals (including elephants) heading for a waterhole. Return to the place of accommodation, dinner and overnight. Route: approx. 110 km.

9. DAY. QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the morning safari, for which the background, in favorable weather conditions, will be the Rwenzori massif. The goal is to see: lions, leopards, hippos, giant forest pig, Cape buffalo, elephants, water goat, Ugandan goat, drowning and other antelopes. In the southern part of the park, the remote Ishasha sector is home to the famous tree-climbers who spend long, lazy days napping in the beautiful fig trees. The safari route takes you to your accommodation - the lodge. Changing your accommodation from the south to the Ishasha sector will maximize your chances of finding the famous, less and less watched lions resting on the trees. Lunch during the day. Check-in, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

10. DAY. QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - THE IMPRESSIVE FOREST OF BWINDI
Breakfast. Check out, morning game drive at QEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK. Drive towards the impenetrable BWINDI FOREST. Located in southwestern Uganda, it is considered Africa's oldest rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is home to mountain gorillas. Most of the forest area was placed under the protection of the Bwindi National Park in the 1990s. Transfer to your accommodation in the vicinity of the forest. Lunch on the way. Accommodation, dinner. Overnight. Length of the route: approx. 130 km.

11. DAY. NIEPRZNIKNIONY LAS BWINDI
Breakfast, free time or, optionally, the possibility of trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to see mountain gorillas. Trekking may take from approx. 1 hour. up to 5 hours depending on where the animals will be on a given day. The rainforest is damp, muddy and slippery. Animals live in the wild, ie they move around freely - there are no trails or paths here. The group is accompanied all the time by a tracker and armed guards. Afternoon return to your accommodation and relaxation. Possible optional activities (for an additional fee on site): a visit to the local village, the so-called "Community visit", kayaking on Lake Mutanda, crossing the Impenetrable Bwindi Forest to the waterfall. Lunch during the day. Return to the place of accommodation, dinner and overnight.

12. DAY. MGAHING NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast, free time or optional (at an additional cost): possibility of taking part in a trek to see the golden monkeys. Golden monkeys are an endemic species living in the vicinity of the Virunga Volcanoes - this is an area at the junction of Uganda, Rwanda and the DRC. The protected area on the Ugandan side is the MGAHINGA NATIONAL PARK. Golden monkeys, due to their unique colors, are an endangered species, and their number in the world varies between 3 and 4 thousand. individuals. They live in the equatorial forest in large groups (approx. 100 individuals each). The tracker leads the group to a selected family of monkeys, the trekking may take approx. 1-2 hours. one way. Alternatively (for an additional fee on site), take the Batwa trail, where you can learn about the culture and history of the Batwa people (Pygmies). This is an ethnic group that inhabited the Bwindi Forest before the Ugandan government created a national park in the 1990s to protect mountain gorillas and forcibly displaced the population. Lunch during the day. Return to your accommodation, time to relax. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 13. LAKE BUNYONYI
Breakfast, check out and drive to the area of LAKE BUNYONYI, which is considered the second deepest water reservoir in Africa. It is home to many different water birds. This spectacular and picturesque lake is dotted with magnificent misty islets and surrounded by green, undulating, terraced slopes. Lunch, accommodation in eco-houses which can be reached by canoe boat. Dinner and overnight. Route: approx. 45 km.

14. DAY. KIGALI
Breakfast, drive towards KIGALI. The capital and largest city of Rwanda is spread over lush, rolling hills surrounded by high mountains. Sightseeing - the most important point will be the very emotional Museum of Genocide. Transfer to the handicraft market, last chance to buy souvenirs. Lunch during the day, dinner, hotel accommodation and time to rest before flight. Overnight. Route: approx. 115 km.

15. DAY.
Departure to Poland, arrival in Warsaw.

Uganda jest niezwykle urokliwym miejscem, które warto dopisać do swojej podróżniczej listy. Charakteryzuje się dużą różnorodnością krajobrazu oraz flory i fauny. Wycieczka bardzo dobrze zorganizowana, skupiająca się na najważniejszych miejscach/atrakcjach. Mało liczne grupy zdecydowanie na plus. Widoki nie do opisania, a wspomnienia zostaną z nami na długo.

Właśnie wróciliśmy z bardzo udanej i ciekawej wyprawy do Ugandy i Rwandy. Wszystkim, którzy nie znają jeszcze Afryki i którzy już ją znają polecam ten wyjazd. <span style="background-color: #f7df1f">Itaka</span> bp " sieciówka" a w sumie bardzo ekskluzywna wyprawa tzn. 8 osób, hotele, loggie, wyżywienie bardzo dobre, dobór miejsc do zwiedzania, wyprawa na goryle- oceniam wysoko . Wyprawa wspaniała . Moje pożegnanie z Afryką - wszystkim koneserom polecam. Pani przewodnik , pani Milena [...] wspaniała osoba- dbała o każdego z nas, troszczyła się osobiście o uczestników wyprawy, wyjaśniała specyfikę Afryki i doskonale tłumaczyła i odkrywała nam tajniki Afryki. O takiego przewodnika trudno dziś , ale my mieliśmy szczęście, że z nami była.

Wspaniała przygoda. Wycieczki fakultatywne bardzo wyczerpujące, wymagające bardzo dobrej kondycji fizycznej. Loggia z namiotami przyjemna, natomiast węzły sanitarne poniżej oczekiwań. Loggia na wyspie poniżej oczekiwań - domki w złym stanie, podłogi krzywe, poleciłabym zmianę na inną, bardziej ciekawą i sprzyjającą odpoczynkowi. Pozostałe loggie komfortowe. Pilot - pani Milena - pełna ciepła i entuzjazmu, wspaniała towarzyszka podroży z ogromną wiedzą na temat kraju, ludzi tam mieszkających, zwyczajów, jedzenia.
