2. DAY. PINNAVALA - DAMBULLA (route: approx. 180 km)
Arrival in Sri Lanka. Transfer to the town of PINNAWALA. It is home to the world's first elephant orphanage, which has brought the world's attention to the problem of the declining population of these beautiful animals. The possibility of observing the feeding and bathing ritual in the nearby Ma Oya River. Transfer to the town of DAMBULLA. Visiting the complex of rock temples, entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. They are some of the most beautiful temples in Sri Lanka. On an area of over 2,000 m², there are 150 wall paintings from the 18th century and one of the world's largest representations of the Buddha, which is carved into the rock. 3. DAY. POLONNARUWA - P.N. MINNERIYA (route: approx. 90 km)
Breakfast. Transfer to the town of POLONNARUWA, the medieval capital of Ceylon. The former royal city was flooded with lush vegetation. The entire area of the archaeological park is on the UNESCO list. Sightseeing of the majestic ruins of the former capital: the royal palace, audience hall, baths, Hindu temples and the Atadage Temple, i.e. the Temple of the Tooth. Transfer to one of the largest and most interesting national parks in Sri Lanka - MINNERIYA, where there are extensive wetlands inhabited by various species of animals: wild elephants, exotic birds (over 160 species), reptiles and beautiful butterflies. Afternoon safari in the park - a great adventure close to nature, where wildlife is at your fingertips. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.

4. DAY. SIGIRIYA - MATALE - KANDY (route: approx. 110 km)
Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to one of the most interesting points of the program, the ruins of the SIGIRIYA rock fortress. The dazzling beauty of the fortress, another monument on the UNESCO list, is situated on a huge rock and despite the passage of time, it still delights with its Mirror Wall, Water Gardens and frescoes more than 1,500 years old. Approach the stairs up to the fort. Transfer to MATALE: a visit to the Spice Garden, where, among others, cinnamon and cardamom grows. Transfer to KANDA, the last capital of ancient Ceylon, a treasury of culture, arts and crafts. Visiting the temple where the relic of Buddhists - Buddha's tooth - and a visit to the local bazaar are kept. In the evening, a show of traditional dances. Check-in at a hotel near Kandy, dinner, overnight.

5. DAY. KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA (route: approx. 120 km)
Breakfast. Checking out. Visiting Kandy by motoriksha, the so-called tuk-tukami, which are the primary means of communication in Sri Lanka. Kandy is an example of Buddhist influence, and monasteries and temples showcase the still-living Buddhist culture. A visit to the handicraft center and gem / crystal museum. A visit to the Royal Botanical Garden - a botanical garden, where on an area of over 60 hectares you can find over 4,000 species of plants in Sri Lanka, Asia and other exotic countries, including endemic and very rare tropical plants. Transfer to the town of NUWARA ELIYA, the most visited mountain resort of Sri Lanka. Visiting the fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison. The bazaar district, home to a Hindu temple with wonderful carvings, and the Dutch Wolfendhal Church. Jedna z najsłabszych wycieczek objazdowych na jakich byliśmy. Po ofercie spodziewaliśmy się indywidualnego podejścia, poznania Sri Lanki od strony niedostępnej dla przeciętnego turysty oraz ochrony przed nachalnymi nagabywaczami / podpowiadanie czego kupować czego unikać. Niestety był to wielki zawód. Przewodnik anglojęzyczny okazał się w zasadzie kierowcą, który niespecjalnie się sam odzywał oraz niejednokrotnie sam nas wrzucał w stado hien. Sam plan wycieczki zbyt rozwleczony, przez co w autobusie spędza się połowę dnia. Safari przez park narodowy, to wyprawa w towarzystwie 30 innych jeepów po ściśle wyznaczonej trasie. Ogród przypraw to paręnaście drzewek ze sklepikiem na końcu. Prośba o obiad/lunch skończyła się wizytą w restauracji, gdzie na parterze PRZY OKAZJI był cały sklep z pamiątkami. Centrum rzemiosła i klejnotów to w zasadzie gigantyczny jubiler (Apart do potęgi trzeciej). Wycieczka do Nuwaria Elia aby zobaczyć miasteczko, przez szybę samochodu, i plantacje herbaty zupełnie zbędna - podróż 3h w jedną stronę, aby zobaczyć kilka ładnych budynków w stylu angielskim i odbyć 20 min prezentację jak powstaje herbata - z „degustacją”. Do degustacji była wyłącznie filiżanka czarnej herbaty jednego rodzaju - reszta ekstra płatna ok. 3 dolary za dzbanuszek. Jedynie widoki ratują całą sytuację. Świetnie bez zarzutu - bronią się same. U nas nastąpiła mała zmiana harmonogramu i zwiedzanie bazaru w Kendy i tuk-tuki miały być 6 dnia, niestety przewodnik się chyba na nas obraził, że za mało kupowaliśmy po drodze w tych punktach, że ostatecznie powiedział, że jedziemy już do ostatniego hotelu i koniec. Doprawdy indywidualne podejście. Generalnie nie było chwili, aby sobie odkryć Sri Lankę i ot tak się pobujać po uliczkach - w czasie objazdówki. Sami obywatele Sri Lanki traktują nas jak skarbonkę, którą trzeba nieustannie szturchać, żeby wyrzuciła jakiegoś pieniążka - wyjście poza hotel to na 100% spotkanie localsa, który coś będzie od nas chciał, abyśmy wydali pieniądze. A i oczywiście obcokrajowcy za wszytko płacą ze 100% więcej np. wejście do parku miejskiego w Nuwaria Ellia 2$ - miejscowi nic, wejście na Sirigia 30$ - miejscowi 0,3$, świątynia zęba 6$ - miejscowi nic. Napiwki nie są „mile widziane”, a wręcz są obowiązkiem za wszystko i wszędzie. Trzeba się pilnować, bo gdzie się da tam będą naciągać. Hotele oraz jedzenie w nich jak najbardziej w porządku.

Cóż, zaczęło się pięknie! Po przylocie do Kolombo cxekał na nas uśmięchnięty Pan Kierowca i Przewodnik w jednym Pan Bandara . Od razu przystąoił do pracy i zabrał Nas w niesamowitą podróż po Sri Lance. Pokazał słonie i inne zwierzęta, wiele pięknych miejscowości, śwìatyń buddyjskich, hinduskich, wykopalisk i cudów natury, zaproponował dobre restauracje jak i spa. Z ogromną pasją i zaangażowaniem przekazywał nam informacje o miejscach, które oglądaliśmy. To dzięki Niemu nasza przygoda na Sri Lance była yak fantastyczna. Hotele podczas objazdówki były bardzo dobre, w urokliwych miejscach z dobrym jedzeniem. Jednym słowem super

Polecam wszystkim podróżnikom i lubiącym odkrywanie nowych miejsc bez całego autokaru turystów, wycieczkę Lankijskie ogrody na Sri Lance. Tylko wy i przewodnik (który jest też kierowcą) w samochodzie. Przewodnik jest tylko dla Was , wszystko dokładnie tłumaczy i prowadzi przez zawiłości kultury azjatyckiej i tej na Sri Lance szczególnie oczywiście. Zupełnie inne możliwości zwiedzania solo bez całej grupy i opóźnień z tym związanych. Sri Lanka wspaniała , zielona wyspa z mnóstwem ciekawych miejsc , zaskakująca różnorodnością i historią ....polecam bardzo wszystkim
